    Hi Alex !!!. Want to thank you so very much. Just by watching your videos I passed my road test yesterday. I am a senior but had to take road test again due to some health issues.
    You were very thorough and patient and u speak very clearly and slowly so we can understand. You are the BEST driving instructor I have ever come across. No wonder you are always booked. All the best to you. I highly recommend Sen Sen Driving School
    to all new learners. You will be very happy learning from Alex.
    Good luck

    Amidst the craziness of Spring 2021 with hundreds of students needing lessons, SenSen Driving School responded immediately to my text saying that he could fulfil my request for 6 refresher classes and car rental for my Class 5 exam. I use Evo car (Toyota Prius) and his training vehicle is a Toronto Corolla LE, so the compatibility as well as the exact same reverse camera was invaluable.
    Excellent sense of humour as well as high professionalism. I was lucky that his RUclips series coincided with my lessons.
    Finally I’ve got my Class 5. So happy!
    Thank you Alex ✨

    Hello Alex, Thanks much for the fantastic videos.Could you post a video on different types of left turns in and around point Grey or may be in Vancouver? (as in turning left on an island intersection, turning left on intersections with no signals and so on)

    • @SenSenDrivingSchool
      @SenSenDrivingSchool  2 года назад

      Hey Joe! Thanks for the message! That's a great idea! Until the video comes out, here is what I recommend for students. If the oncoming car is 1 city block away, then it is safe to turn. If the oncoming car is half a block away or less, then wait. If the oncoming car is 3/4 of a block away, you can still go if you don't hesitate. Work with your instructor/supervisor to really get the hang of this.
      Of course, there are other variables to consider such as up/down hill, the weather, the type of car that is coming and the type of car you are driving etc.
      Hope this helps for now! Good luck!

    Hi! Amazing videos, one of the best driving instructions on the internet. I had a question about point 12 - you turn the wheel back to straight. You added 'which is two toyotas' - what does that mean?
    Thank you so much

    • @SenSenDrivingSchool
      @SenSenDrivingSchool  2 года назад

      Hey Shishira! Thanks for the message. So its my way of telling my students to count the number of upright Toyotas to know when the wheel is straight incase they lose track of the steering wheel. But basically its 1.5 rotations of the wheel to turn it back to straight from max in either direction. (This is for my 2021 toyota corolla, it may be different in other vehicles)

    Can we see in the rear camera when we are in the test? One of the examiner said that we are not allowed to see, i have failed in reverse parking i just saw a glimpse in camera.they failed me

    • @SenSenDrivingSchool
      @SenSenDrivingSchool  2 года назад +1

      Hey Aparna! Thanks for your message. When you shift the car into reverse, first do a 360 degress check. Then when you are driving backwards I recommend the following: 25% of the time look at your rear view mirror, 25% of the time look at the right side mirror and 50% of the time look behind you through the back window. If you have a back up camera, take peaks at it but don't rely on it. Hope this helps!

    Please help me how to 3 feet away next to the car i really need to help that

    • @SenSenDrivingSchool
      @SenSenDrivingSchool  3 года назад

      Hey Ram! So 3 feet away is a rough estimate, what you really need to worry about is if the door of the car you're parallel parking behind swings open. You need to be far enough so they don't hit your car while you're next to them. But you also don't want to be too far away because when you swing out to your 45 degree angle you don't want the front left of your car to hit the parked cars across the street from you on the left. (Or you swing out so wide you affect the cars in the next lane)

  • @Ivymagbanua

    Is that applicable for any kind of car ? Like what is I got suv and the car on park is Van

    • @SenSenDrivingSchool
      @SenSenDrivingSchool  2 года назад

      Hey Ivy! Thanks for your comment. The steps are a guideline but because every car is a little different you'll need to work with your instructor/supervisor to find the correct method that works for the vehicle you're using. Hope this helps! Thanks

    Some time my car is very far and some time very near when i pull up next to the car so I can’t pull up 2 to 3 feet away you have any reference point or idea please help me this is very hard for me please.

    • @SenSenDrivingSchool
      @SenSenDrivingSchool  3 года назад +1

      Yeah for this one there isn't so much as a reference as it is more of a practice makes progress situation. Keep at it! Lots of hours and practice will make it perfect! Good luck!

    • @SenSenDrivingSchool
      @SenSenDrivingSchool  3 года назад

      Hey Frankie! Thanks for the message. I mention it in the video, you'll have to eyeball the 45 degree angle. And at the 45 degree angle, you back up until the curb disappears in your right side mirror to know when to steer your wheel all the way to the left. Hope it helps!

  • @akemiharaguchi6236
    @akemiharaguchi6236 3 года назад +3

    if i end up parking too far away from the sidewalk, is it because i’m more than 9 feet away when starting to parallel park?

    • @SenSenDrivingSchool
      @SenSenDrivingSchool  3 года назад

      Hey Akemi! If you end up too far from the curb, its because when you were at the 45 degree angle, you didn't back up close enough to the curb before turning your wheel all the way to the left. Make sure when you are at the 45 degree angle, you back up until the curb disappears in your right side mirror. See if that helps!
