Thank you for this video! You can also pick item from an item frame and use this to dupe any item that is a source for something you can craft in your personal crafting window. Just throw away the original item stack to keep it and craft with the glitched ones. If you only have 6 diamond you can put one in the item frame, dupe the remaining 5 into 10 and craft a block. You can then break the block into 9 diamonds and dupe that stack to make two blocks. Then you can proceed with the block duping method you indicated. I've used this for duping glowstone dust via crafting glowstone and for planks.
I don’t think that duping on console in minecraft is cheating because the world is limited and you will run out of resources. I personly searched for theway to dupe long time ago because i couldnt find resorces anymore! Thankyou, this video was very helpfull

Works with wood too, but you can only have one log in your inventory at a time so if you put a dispenser over you and a button you can double your the logs you mine from 4 planks per log to 8 planks.
You can also can use this to only need half of the resources to craft something (like 13 eyes of ender) by using an item frame, placing the item in, and then use the glitch.
Another glitch to point out which is better. Make sure your world is offline and stable auto save. Place a chest down. Reanble autosave. place items u want to dupe in the chest. stand on top of the chest and break. as soon as it breaks close the application. Your items are now duped. Another one is going into creative, placing the items yo want in a chest, then switching off the power to ur console. Works but is more difficult
I think it is not cheating for items that are limited in our worlds, personally Im going to dupe shulker boxes because I don’t want to fight the ender dragon again just to get to the end city’s every time. Or if you want to do a 1.14 “Raid” then just dupe totems and saddles.
@@devjagadish7112 Just go into button config and set it to something that is useable in combination with the R1 button. So you can tap right in your item bar, whilst also picking the block. (I use up on the d-pad personally. works like a charm.)
Thank you so much! Your instructions were very clear and I did it on my first try! People should know though, that classic crafting has to be off. And you don’t have to do it one at a time. You can have lots of the block in your inventory and it will still make phantom versions of all of them, doubling it everytime. It’s a little finicky so don’t give up after a few attempts. When making the big item into the smaller item make sure you use your inventory crafting, not the workbench. Also this should work for bone blocks.. Good luck guys!
I know it doesn’t matter now but instead of pressing pick block and switching hot bar items you can pick block and open personal crafting at the same time to do it faster

I wouldn’t blame people for duplicating those items in Minecraft legacy edition. We literally have a small world with a border to prevent us from getting more materials so I would understand why people would want to duplicate. Thanks for this glitch btw! 🙂

Coal Blocks and last but not least Slime Blocks its not cheating because its helping mojang figure out stuff to fix and i am using this glitch to beat minecraft on peaceful mode xbox one edition
@@Roronoa_-Zoro I consider any exploiting not cheating as long as you don’t abuse it. Its just a break in the game. Its cheating when you abuse it or use a mod menu to get what you want.

You can also dupe Purpur Blocks, Magma Blocks, Nether Wart Blocks, and Blue Ice Blocks. You can also get an infinite quantity of stuff such as meat and books and infinite XP by trading with villagers with the duped emeralds.
I Don't consider it cheating for any of them except diamonds, As you can make farms for pretty much off of the items, they're just much slower than duping. If I have a way to get infinite emeralds, then either way ill have infinite, duping just allows it to be a faster process.
The way I see it, if there’s a way to farm it and you want infinite of it, farm it, by duping you’re robing yourself of the experience of designing a farm, or exploring, its also a great feeling when you finish the farm and it works, knowing that you put the work to now have the useful infrastructure is great. And as for none farmable resources, tell me, the world size is finite, have you mined every diamond in that finite area? If your answer’s no then that should also be your answer for if you’ll dupe.
with the world's limited size, i'd say if you make a mining tunnel in most of the chunks of your world (like i have) then you should be free to dupe a little. it's not technically cheating considering it must have been in the game since pick block existed (and it was never patched) to my knowledge.

I think duping is justified, considering you have to have eighteen diamonds in the first place. At that point, the main reason you're mining diamonds is to have resources to replace your diamond tools and armor once they break. You're not really gaining anything from getting more diamonds, just trying to get ahead of the durability system, leading to it turning into unfun grinding. My opinion is that any system the game gives you to circumvent resource collecting is fair game, as this frees you to work on your projects instead of having to worry about durability. As for the other resources, they're pretty easy to farm anyway, you're just speeding up the process.

You don't only need one in your inventory. If you have a stack of the block you're duplicating, you can double it by doing this. while the stack is in your inventory. 64-128
i never knew this was another one of the old dupe glitches for minecraft, i remember the old glitch of this sort way before they patched it but this ones alot more better and easier, works with wood too
I just tried this with leather in an item frame near a work bench and it worked using the same method as mentioned with the blocks , feathers, paper, flint, and other things also may work

That sounds awesome! Like yeah, it's not *that* hard to find diamonds, but even if you know where to look, it's just so time consuming, and you have to mine up hundreds or thousands of useless cobblestone and diorite and andesite, just to find a small patch with a handful of diamonds
I know this is super late, but: You can also use this method to get infinite version of any craftable items that use blocks and are in the 2x2 crafting grid. Simply do this glitch, drop the item without going into your inventory (using O on PS3, not sure button equivalent on Xbox) then go to the crafting menu and you should still have the ghost block in your inventory--this means all versions of Sandstone, Quartz/Endstone (although obviously resetting nether/end is a thing), TNT (via using this method with making a TNT cart, then placing cart down on rail, breaking and emptying cart) blocks are very easily dupable.

Massive tip for duping: Have multiple blocks in your inventory so you can get more of the item you are duping.
The cool thing is that because the Console Edition isn't getting updates anymore, this will likely never be patched
i wish if there is updates at least the world is gonna be bigger

This glitch doesn't work with shulker boxes. The way this glitch works is the items aren't real but they become real when you change their form.

Ghost pick-blocking is a good method
You can also use an item frame. I've found that to be easier plus there's other stuff you can dupe via the item frame
