    This is good news. As recent experiences have shown me, there are plumbers and qualified gas filters, and then there are heating engineers. The latter are engaged in new tech and obtaining new skills, the former would prefer the status quo.

    Improving the skills and expertise of installers to help homeowners to move to net zero heating is so important. Keep up the good work

    I’m thinking of starting a GO FUND ME page for Adam and getting his hair cut:) another great video mate and very exciting. We need to clone you and get rid of some of the absolute criminals out there taking peoples money and leaving them with a system that couldn’t even heat a bird box! 👍🏻

    Love it, I hope or what I would really like is people whom were not only experts in designing and setting up the heating system, but could address the practical issues of Heat Loss. Even on houses built in the last 25 years the loss of heat can be so much improved, but nobody really focuses on that.

    When you purchase a heat pump. Who owns access password to the engineering password. Know of installation where the company who installed the system has not passed the entry code. Then not responding to customers request to fix problems

    • @HeatGeek

      Engineers password shouldn't be used by the customer. If you don't know how to get past that barier you DEFINITELY dont want to be playing with peramiters

    My parents just had a new boiler installed, Viessmann 100, I thought thats a great choice, it'll have Hot Water Priority and weather/load compensation - nope they guy capped off the two pipes for hot water heating, set it up as an s-plan and fitted a hive with no weather comp (well you can't on an s-plan). The guy who fitted it all is in his 20s too, got all the qualifications, and charged a very decent rate.

    Love your videos, what I wish is if I could pay someone for a air source system design, with a honest unbiased approach and not feel obliged to use the company who come out. Also i am able to add what I can do myself like radiators as I can afford it, and then get someone in to fit all the collocated bits.

    Great stuff. The only problem i find is that you keep bigging up European companies and saying the English are behind and useless.
    Due to us to becoming a part of the EU our industry has been destroyed and European corporations promoted. Even though we had the German emissions scandal. 107% efficient boilers because the Germans changed the equation to suit them winning more work.
    If you want to be renewable then we need English manufactures to build our heat pumps and be in control of the engineering aspect of it. Have it open source and not run by private corporations. Corporations and sustainability don't go hand in hand.

    • @edc1569
      @edc1569 Год назад

      Fantasy thinking, we'd be even more behind - look at the USA for where we would be -- decades of incredibly cheap gas would have insured that.

    • @mike-ology22
      @mike-ology22 Год назад

      @@edc1569 we wouldn't be behind. We would have gradual growth with common sense thinking. Rather than pumping the system full of useless items that break after the guarantee is what got us here.
      In order for you to fully understand the system we live in we have to study all.aspects of it. Which I have done for the last 18 years and I can share documentaries that you have never heard of which provide all the facts for you to make an informed decision.
      I wouldn't base anything on the yanks. They're bonkers. They're actually run and owned by the Dutch.
      Have you seen the light bulb conspiracy? Planned obsolescence? I've got plenty more and know how to fix the system mate.
      Facts are not fantasy. Neither ris natural law or common law. Plumbing is based on natural law and the only ones to live in harmony with that is the English. Which is why we built the modern world. Computers. Processors. Jet engines. Hover craft. Internet. Must I carry on?
      I don't you think you realise how special we are. Always told and made out to be stupid. On the contrary sir, we are the mighty England and we are to bring about the next revolution ;)

      Nobody forced you to buy a German/ French/ Italian/ American/ Japanese car - you did it because the options are just better than our domestic ones. The same is true for home appliances.
      I agree with your sentiment though - it would be wonderful if UK industry was on par with Germany - but hating on the Germans for producing better goods than us is not the way about it. The rest of the world has been fitting heat pumps in the form of AC units for decades - the UK is just unfortunately very far behind everybody else. Brexiteers still owe the NHS the promised millions per week and it's pretty clear the opposite has happened by kicking out all the staff.

    • @mike-ology22
      @mike-ology22 Год назад

      @@hijackstudios no, not at all mate. German factories were going broke, like Porchester and through manipulation of the currency and creating currency out of thin air through futures trading the Germans destroyed all business in England.
      Have you heard of the German economic miracle where we paid for all German War debts for world war 2?
      You clearly have no understanding of the system of mate.

      @@hijackstudios hating on the Germans. Most formula 1 3ngineers are English. Most inventions from our modern times are English. Most scandals are European.
      Who do you think invented heat pumps? Michael Faraday by using ammonia. Its pointless talking to someone like you who does no research at all and probably watches the news every day
