I did the same but it's definitely down to counting, after many attempts I finally got it right and now I have a family of pumpkins 👍. Don't give up you can do it 🎃😉

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but when I get to the point where you should have 40 stitches, my count is always off. I've tried 4 times.
