350Z Grip Royal Steering Wheel and NRG Quick Release Install!

To continue with the interior modifications on the 350Z we add a Grip Royal Knight steering wheel and NRG quick release! With the interior finally starting to come together we take the Z out for some proper canyon runs, make sure to stay until the end!

At 330, where did you the hub from? Is that in the center of my old steering wheel? Or do I need to buy it separate?

That’s an NRG hub. You’ll need to hit it, it’s not part of the stock set up.

Did you need to install the hub ring to keep the wheel straight or whatever it does haha

I didn’t order one because I didn’t know about them until after I did the install so my hub is slightly crooked so that the wheel is straight but with grip royal and some other steering wheel brands, you technically need it to have everything straight

Can someone help me my slip and vdc light stay on after i put my steering wheel on. Is it because the steering wheel sensor thing is not centered

Is your steering wheel centered or did you have to buy a spacer my grip royal wheel is sitting at 2 o’clock and the hub is at 12 o’clock it’s super annoying

kenlee G I just found out recently there’s a spacer necessary when using a grip royal wheel but I just rotated the hub on the steering shaft to correct it.

How come i cant put my grip royal wheel to be straight, its off. It doesn't fit with the wholes that would make it straight

Drift 240sx you’ll either need to rotate the hub or buy the rotator space kit from grip royal. I opted to just rotate the hub.

Sorry, not sure on that one. My car is a base model so I don’t have VDC or slip control on my car.
