Was looking for 4Him songs and by mistake clicked on to First Call’s Sweet Love. The unmistakable 80s style of music, harmony and especially the powerful vocals caught me on looking for more of Fist Call. Never heard of them before until now and I’m glad I did. Thanks for this.
God's heart is really pained when believers walk in division and strife and the flow of His Spirit within the Body of Christ is impeded by such. Just as they sing and as Christ commanded us to love one another as He has loved us. What do we want? Do we want to keep to our petty differences and division or do we want to see God's Spirit loosed and Revival come to the Body of Christ and the lost world? I want the latter!

The letter "X" stands for the Greek letter "chi", which stands for "Christ". (The word Xian stands for Christian for the same reason.) Using the letter "X" is Xmas is , therefor, not disrepectful contrary to shortminded commonly held opinion.
@tallblondeguyfl this is not about semantics or whatever...my opinion is, there is no substitute for Christ, in word, deed or what not. just think about your husband/wife/kid would put an X on a blank supposedly indicating your name.
carsonky I know this an old comment, but there are 3 Christmas albums. "An Evening in December, vol. 1&2 recorded in the 80's and "Beyond December ", recorded by just Marty and Bonnie(First Call became a duo after Marabeth left) in the 90's.
Their era of Christian music was anointed and glorified the Lord Jesus

My best friend ,Jerry Rouse is Jay Rouse's uncle. Jay is a wonderful arranger /composer. This song is so powerful ! Love hearing it again.
