Read your post on facebook before clicking the link. Some people, and even some musicians, don't understand that sometimes the stuff that's the "easiest" are hard to replicate perfectly.
I play in a sabbath tribute band. I've had arguments with people online from something as simple as tuning of a song to full-on missing parts of other songs. The little things matter hugely, and it shows professionalism to cover something correctly note for note. I still can't note for note some sabbath tunes and ad lib a bit here and there(mainly solo's), but to compensate for that I've tried to learn the style that Iommi played like. Some people will try to mask their mistakes with "proper tone", but in the end of the day you can try to have the right sound all you want, but if you can't play like the guy people will notice.
What we have here though is perfect. I've know this song. Easy doesn't always mean easy. It's a lot of work to make something sound perfect. To be honest, I've never heard any mistakes in anything you've done. This is awesome, great job!

My daughter loves drumming along when I drum. When she's old enough, if that's what she wants, she'll it--but I'll still want her to learn to read music, and basic piano. ;-) Everyone in my family plays an instrument (multiple, even) for generations. Read books, play music, use our hands, build, cook, live.
I don't know why so many people get hung up on the "girl" thing. It's the 21st century. Even the Lego kid was a redhead girl in overalls back in the 70s/80s.

I agree with you, her playing overall sounds exactly the same as the original. However, Dave Grohl plays about 20 times harder than Meytal does. That's part of the reason that he's so famous.

+Ryan Martin There's no need to bring anger into a casual discussion that LivingFreakShow and I where having. I never said either drummer (Meytal or Grohl) is better than the other. I was just pointing out that they have two very different styles. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but just know that Grohl had the sound that Nirvana was looking for. I doubt the band would be so legendary without him.
Ryan Martin I know that the only circumstance in which I would call someone a "fucking twit" is a circumstance in which I was quite angry. Not sure what you mean when you say Dave was "sent" to them, as Kurt has stated in his personal journal that Dave was a great drummer and that the only difficulty they had was that he lived farther away than what was convenient for the rest of the band to practice. I know that Dave was most certainly not Nirvana's first drummer, but from my knowledge, they didn't make it big until Dave joined. I admit that there was not much of a conversation until you chimed in, so I stand corrected on that. Also, I'm not sure how you think that I'm belittling anyone, when all I did was simply point out that Dave Grohl and Meytal have different styles of drumming.
+Ryan Martin I know this will come off as mean, but... Are you like stupid or something? Because you know literally nothing about the process of making Nirvana, except for names and random facts... Kurt himself stated that Grohl was the perfect fit for the group. And Grohl, while not technically proficient, is a very solid and enthusiastic rock drummer, and that's what rock is about - the energy. That's why Grohl is consistently named one of the most important rock musicians of this era, because he inspires young musicians around the world to pick up an instrument and just enjoy. Now stop being disrespectful to others!
PS: Nirvana was not nearly as famous in the Bleach era as it was later! Even Nevermind was not supposed to be a success... They become popular AFTER the Nevermind release.

Cloak and Dagger seriously i have seen them go for under 300! probs not the greatest quality but with a good EQ and some tuning you could make it sound good
Our drummer learned the basics on cardboard boxes with duct tape when we were young. You don't need a real kit
Matt Harris The big problem with the cheap kits is the quality of the cymbals. Be prepared for cymbals that just sound awful. On the upside, you're really just getting used to hitting the thing at the right time, so sound isn't that important.
