That moment of panic when your friend picks this song on Rock Band and you're on drums...
I've lived in that moment before...
ProJirard the Finishist or in the vocals
...Especially HELL Freaking RIDER...
ProJirard the Finishist lol
HAHAHA, I'm that person. Playing this on guitar is the best.
painkiller is my favotire drum intro!!
And you are not the only one:D, as said John Lennon:D:D:D
"What is Painkiller or Judas Priest" - Rick Beato
Fav intro AND Outro! Damn this song rules!
Rust in Peace Polaris
It's always nice to watch a technical, relaxed playing drummer such as Meytall kick some ass with these hard long metal songs.
Scott Travis’s drum parts are not easy to play. A lot of his songs have double bass throughout the entire song, such as this one. This cover was pretty much spot-on.
Lool Nico's McBrain gallope is a kick in the ass
Made bye a single pedal
What do you mean two bass?
@@baitman2368 Double bass pedals (kick pedals)
@@hugostigglitz9639 as someone who plays painkiller and Where eagles dare painkiller is definitely harder.
i'm a girl and i seriously get excited when i see girl on drums. this is great!!
painkiller is by far the best priest album. great choice for starters, execution was flawless with a smile.
thanks for posting
patrick fitzsimmons Screaming for Vengeance, just saying. But she does rock Painkiller and pretty much any song she does.
I love that people are so cocky too say painkiller is a good starter song! Good job girl, also follow my boy johnkew, baddest of the bad on drums👌
definitely one of my favorites, i love electric eye though :)
her smile... priceless. rock on meytal!
She is brilliant
Respect from Estonia, you are best !!
Once again the Queen is playing one of my faves.
The most awesome thing is that you smile all the time. Which means that you really really love what you're doing. Great job!
Loukas Papakostas not much chance to smile on this song.. hard work up her hands
Espectacular... Q estilazo tocando, me encanta.. 👏👏👏✌️
When I watch the intro to this drum cover I about fell out of my chair… HOW IS SHE SO RELAXED
Meytal is the painkiller she rules
You made it look easy! Congrats!!!
girl ..I gotta tell ya that as this video was just about to end.....I saw that you were right in the pocket and hitting Scott Travis's Pain killer note for note , I got Goose bumps ....and the hair on the back of my neck stood up..like I was at an early JP concert ...lol.....your magnificent .....Thank you Meytal ...
Epic. So many great drum moments. This song was groundbreaking.
it don't get any better than that. excellent job.
I ve been watching her since she posted her first videos and this one is still my favorite. Meytal...your a very talented musician..
love it and keep it going. Peace and much love from central cali.
One of the best drumming songs ever!
I'm just getting back into playing drums after an 8 year hiatus. This version will be my reference for this song. Perfection. Well done.
"Scott Travis is a crazy drummer, freaking unreal" That would explain why you ALMOST broke a sweat on this song :) Great job. love watching your covers.
I grew up with Priest they are one of my favorite bands and this is a very awesome cover keep rocking Meytal all the best to you.
YOU NAILED THE BEGINNING AND THE END! AMAZING!!!!!!!
The wall behind you with just the sign is the Best. I like the clear scenery You Drums Sound. . .
The fact that she even thought of doing this song, on top of loving hard rock and metal, and being the baddest female drummer I've ever seen, means that she was put on this Earth for me.
the baddest female drummer is meg white
Nathan Severson really ? I just thought it was ok
martin pierrat shut up Meg !
MultiAlerocks jealous wannabes would only say it "it was ok"
Nada más que decir, los que aman el Metal entenderan lo complejo de este tema, disfrutenlo.
De verdad que sí...
You deserve it...the pace and the snare drum drum pass and the double bass combo... absolutely Judas priest style....back in 73-till now..#full metal jacket..
Fantastic Meytal!!
only here for the intro
Should have stayed for the bridge and the outro :)
Bad desicion.
+Cassandra Campbell Bad grammar.
Alain Velásquez I am dearly sorry for my terrible grammar. I will go into the corner of shame and not come out until I start looking like Gollum.
Cassandra Campbell
*rings bell* shame, shame, shame
HOLY SHIT!!
Not sure what kills me more...the playing or the smile XOX :)
You Nailed It. Outstanding.
Dayumnnnmm girl!!! can stop loving you!!!!!
Can you?
hellcatsurfer I don't think he can.
Oh please guys... english is not my naturally speaking language... are you gonna do that much trouble about it, I'm sorry... can we be cool? I've just forget ('t) it's that so bad?
It is of course not bad just a simple joke nothing personal! :)
Facundo Varela A comment so incomprehensible gets 2 thumbs up! We cool.
i know that song it's need a special talent to playing .... and you kill it sist.... I really hope you in my band
Best Painkiller cover... PERIOD!
Great Job! You don't see too many younger people playing Priest anymore, and the Painkiller album was just CRAZY AWESOME. Thanks for the upload!!!
Good song
Good cover
Good drums
Good video
This is like the perfect song. Most bands were forced into retirement when this came out
Damn Meytal U ROCK. every time I've seen you play. Excuse me for saying so. I have to take a walk before I can continue watching you play. Your flow is so fluid and natural. It gets me aroused. I'm learning to play too. I had a kit before but my house in Las Vegas instill I was out of town for a few months working in New Port Beach. I had a room mate there but got sick and had to go in the hospital. And wound up passing from kidney failure. We had a full sound stage in our extended living room. Our house was robbed and my kit and a verry nice 64 fender strat. We're swollen along with a pair of LG Condos. I still haven't forgiving my self. But you inspire me to play again. I drive my new roommates crazy trying too keep up with you beating on my side table. Or coffee table anything with a sutfase that makes a noise. As I try to copy you. And my second turn on Chris Addler.. Keep turning guys and femails on with your beauty and style. KPRKN BABE...
Damn good cover and I think Painkiller was my favorite album put out by Judas Priest. They REALLY kicked up the drums on that album. Saw them in concert twice...wasn't disappointed at all. Keep up the great work. You are a drumming GODDESS!
5:45 She looks so exhausted
Can you blame her?
Im F'n exhausted just watching
Maybe it's her drummer face. Mine looks like I'm heaving a heart attack so I usually wear a mask.
You and 331Erock should jam
WOW!!! Only two words come to mind. BAD ASS!!!
you play almost all my favorite songs thank you great job keep it up
I was curious to see how you would handle the intro. You nailed it so I watched the rest. Nicely done! You even got those single stroke rolls that speed up on the pre-solos. One of the best covers of Painkiller I ever heard (including my own) and that's saying something because I'm really critical.
Jeezus
THE DOUBLE BASS AND EVERITHING IS AMAZING
Favorite priest song! Well done!
One of the best songs EVER! (grin) This video / song is kinda old-skool. AND I LIKE IT! :-{) aaa-and my point is, that Meytal's expressions during that last finale was EPIC!!! Raw Meytal, with scraggly jeans and shoes EVEN!
What's wrong with her drumming without shoes
zeoalexo The footwork is EPIC! \\m// \\m//

"Resurrection" by Halford.
If you love "Painkiller" ...
"Resurrection" is a required drum cover.
Seriously.
The studio version of the song sounds the best.
Bobby Jarzombek's drums on "Resurrection" give Scott Travis's drums on "Painkiller" a damn good run for the money.
Thank me later.☺
toddvandell85 yeah Resurrection is a very Good Song.
But i like stufe like cyberworld or Yawbreaker More.
But she has to do a Resurrection Cover.
@@dominikl33
"Cyberworld" and "Jawbreaker" are both excellent songs, the first from singer Rob Halford's side project, Halford, also on the Resurrection album; the second from Rob's main band, Judas Priest, from their Defenders of the Faith album, back in the 80s when Dave Holland was behind the drum kit.
I love almost every album by Judas Priest, Fight, and Halford, myself (although not really a fan of the Priest concept album Nostradamus, nor much of Fight's A Small Deadly Space album; Halford's Crucible album is still iffy for me, though I like it a bit better than either Nostradamus or A Small Deadly Space; Fight was fortunate to have Scott Travis behind the drum kit too, although he eventually returned to Priest in time to record both Jugulator and Demolition, as well as the live album, '98 Live Meltdown, all featuring Rob's replacement, Tim "Ripper" Owens on vocals.)
I was suggesting Meytal might want another hard hitting uptempo double kick drum song not unlike "Painkiller."
Bobby Jarzombek in Halford is easily nearly as beastly on double kick drums as Scott Travis is in Priest.
But Scott Travis is such a double kick beast on so many Judas Priest songs, it's not always easy to narrow it down to just one song that features his insane double kick demonics.
Back on Defenders of the Faith, when the late Dave Holland was still in the band, "Eat Me Alive" was one of his attempts at higher speed double kick drums, if I remember correctly.
Dave always had double kick drums, even back in his days behind the kit for Trapeze, with future Deep Purple bassist and co-lead singer Glenn Hughes, and future Whitesnake guitarist, the late Mel Galley, but he didn't actually play his double kick drums very often.
(I think the one time I remember seeing Dave without the double kick drums was on the video for "Heading Out To The Highway" where he played a basic five piece kit with a single bass drum.)
Scott Travis, and to an only slightly lesser extent Bobby Jarzombek, both have double kick drums that they use quite frequently.
Scott Travis uses them on nearly every song, except the slightly slower songs.
And sometimes even on those he plays double kick drums.
Going back to Priest's "Stained Class" album, former drummer Les Binks did some stellar double kick drumming on "Exciter" and even matched Simon Phillips double kick insanity on "Sinner" from Sin After Sin on Priest's Unleashed in the East Live in Japan album.
Anyway.
The thing with Dave Holland's drumming throughout most of Priest's 80s albums, was that it was a bit more basic and rudimentary, and was in service to their songs that often were far more straight ahead metal anthems with shout along choruses than high speed neck cranking metal insanity.
In fact, the truth is, it's very rare that Dave actually played his double kick drums on any of their 80s albums.
Dave gave many of Priest's anthem heavy 80s albums a kind of funky swagger to them, as he did back during his stint in Trapeze.
Dave was never anyone's idea of a flashy drummer, but he sure could get funky sometimes, and, upon occasion, I do miss the funky swagger Dave brought to Priest.
Sometimes.
But Scott Travis has been such an insanely awesome addition to the band because he's such a double kick beast, it's very rare that I miss Dave's funkier tendencies.
(Maybe not surprisingly, Scott manages to pull off Dave's drum parts live with relative ease, though sometimes their funkiness seems to go missing just a tad.)
Anyway.
That's more what I was aiming for, to give Meytal another chance to show off her double kick chops.
It's just that, with the addition of Scott Travis on drums in Judas Priest, it's harder to narrow the song list down because there are so many more great songs with high energy double kick drums.
In fact, there are far too many to list here, especially since this reply is already too long.🙂😁
Oh yes, that rocked! Thank you.
Meytal, you ROCK !!!!! And this is all raw, unedited sound. Fantastic!!!!!!!!!
Keep havin fun girl your doin good. some Maiden next please.

Love that you did this,exceptional

Damn girl you can PLAY!!!!I thought it was some kind of trick photography at first. I have been a drummer for 30 plus years. You outplay any chic on the planet, and most guys!! keep up the good work, by the way those dw"s u play are beautiful!!!
you should do Damage Inc by Metallica if you haven't already!
A mi me gusta.
Tensa? cualquiera estaria tenso tocando Painkiller xD
Fantastic!!!
i would have to say that was the best drum cover of painkiller i have seen on youtube.
boner inspiring on so many levels..
+TheMassRequiem Dude I had a boner from the last video I watched, and realized wow I have a boner over this?!.....just as I read your comment....Weird

Best part is you always look like you're having such a good time. Love it.
YES! That is how it's done! Very well done!
That snare fucking sucks!
what does your snare sound like? oh you don't have one? your's sounds mores shit then hers
FateofTheFallenOFCL Actually yes I do play drums. My snare is alright, but then again, it's not being held up to the standards of a studio quality snare drum.
FateofTheFallenOFCL
He's right, her snare always sounds a bit shitty. It's not about having a better snare for you to start defending her like that or saying "i dare you to play it", it's just stupid to say that.
Quit hating fool.
Michael Silguero
What the fuck? I love her covers, man. I'm just recognizing something that is wrong, that's not hating. I'm not going to lie myself saying that the sound is perfect.
This song really isn't that hard, anybody with enough experience could play this pretty easily, still, sounded good.
This seems to be one of the easier songs she plays...I'm not a drummer, i dont know, but she has covers of other songs that i know are hard: Tool, Rush, etc..
Who are you? This song looks easy, but some parts with double pedal needs more than some kind of basic experience.
Tacud72 My name is King Dingin, and I don't know about your experience with drumming, but I've been able to play this beat for beat for more than a short while, hell, if you practiced enough, you'd be able to nail this start to finish if you started from when I made this comment.
***** Did you miss the last part of the comment? I did say it sounded good.
***** Yeah!
"...laugh often and smile all the time" you should add the last part to the label on the wall. You can hardly stop smiling, you really enjoy what you do! Congrats!!
Outstanding. Huge Priest fan in my formative years. Good to be reminded how much FUN it is to play...
Her hopscotch on the pedals is absolutely perfect.
