Jay another trick i can show to my children.I usualy do your card tricks when we as a famaly braai.I never show them how it is done because then it is not a trick anymore. You must see there faces when the trick is done.A BIG thank you.If you get the time to read my commend i would love you to respond.I will be on then be on the lookout for your videos.❤
Contest #10 was supposed to be last week, however the mini card spitting contest turned out to be bigger than I expected. I needed a break. Contest #10 will be Thursday Oct. 15th.
I'm a beginner when it comes to card tricks, but the difference between red and black card numbers made me think the deck was stacked right away. If you get slightly tipsy crowd somewhere this could work great though! You have alot of awesome tricks, thanks for all the uploads.
cool .... will try it ;) do you have a tutorial for these tricks where one card is marked with a pen ....think some ppl call it "stranger card" ? thx and cheers
Great trick, already performing it regularly where I work! Thanks to the Galbreath principle, you can split the deck into two roughly equal piles and have the spectators tell you if the pairs should come from one pile or the other or one from each (with a nod to Max Maven's Zenvelopes).
Could you put 2 black cards in the box and say there will be 2 more red cards? When I saw this I said, "it's self working!" and the second time it was different so I had no clue how it worked until you said you put some into the box.
You can leave the Jokers in the pack as well (with the 4 black cards on top). That way, when you take it out for the second turn you can act like the cards in the box were the Jokers and drop them.
The correct title of this card trick is "Miraskill" created by Stewart James. This card trick is at least 60 years old. It's so old that it is "new" to you youtubers. But it goes to show you that good card tricks never get old.
The second trick works because for the same reason as the first. For every black card you discard, you also discard a red card. Therefore, there will be the same amount of red pairs and black pairs.
What if someone wants to see the box before you do the trick because they might find it suspicious if you just come up to them with the cards already out of the deck.
you can setup like this: You can also prepare 1 red pair on the bottom and 1 black on the top. Then take the box and tell the spectator that there are many suits many values bla bla bla and ask the spectator to name black or red, but in a way that its not suspicious. If the spectator says red, take the cards out except of the red pair. It's a bit tricky but practice that ;-) Greetz from Switzerland
Hey guys i have a question: Please Answer:::::::: i went to my local pharmacy to buy some cards, and i found a 4 pack. 2 red decks, and... TWO BLACK !!RIDER BACK!! DECKS :) anyway my question was.. are these cards "rare" because i haven't seen em' anywhere! thx guys!
I tried this on someone. After the first part, my friend told me. the deck could not be complete: at the center there are as many black as red. So, overall, here are more reds than blacks...
@brutalledgend hide as many as you want, but you need to change the prediction for it. This is a good trick because people would normally realise "well of course, there are an even amount of cards". the first is to throw them off.
PWNSCAPE141 your talking about doing close up magic (street magic) there are many aspects of cardistry i do alot of street magic i.e sleights etc like what your talking about, but at the same time i do alot of table top i.e resteraunts etc where this kind of trick goes down well whilst they are waiting for food to come... also this trick can be expanded on the table top to involve more than one person.. its not really advisable to go around dis-respecting others for liking different varations.
hey mismag i have a cool math trick for you, if the next contest will be math tricks contest i will upload it with tutorial and explantion why/how it works. i think its even better than this trick.
Thumbs up to you mismag822! ive watched all of your videos as you upload them, and i am amazed at how well, and how easily you perform card tricks (my fav. type of tricks) keep it up ▲_▲
I like your videos but this one is soooooooo easy... I already knew when you ended the trick that there were to less black cards, what's impossible when the deck is complete. And I also knew your second prediction would be that the piles are even.
hmm fun trick but the difference in piles the first time made it kind of obvious the deck wasn't full, and the putting of the cards in the box was also highly suspicious XD
Nah, it does actually work. Consider a worst case scenario, and all the red and black cards in the deck that CAN be alternated are. In the first one you'd have 0 black cards and 4 red cards (prediction was 4 MORE red cards, so it's not wrong). The second one you'd discard every card, so there would be 0 red cards and 0 black cards (prediction: piles will be equal). None in both piles is still equal. The trick always works, though THAT outcome would be lame. =3
lol haha i worked it out easy cuz it is obvious that the piles always have to be even because there are even red and black so when there we different amounts i figured it out strait away

When you perform the trick the first time the spectator has no idea what you are predicting. So when the piles are different it is a cool effect.
that´s the greatest Math trick i´ve ever seen. I didn´t even think about that the biles MUST be even :) Really amasing

Hi, how r u?
I have wanted to find a good card trick for ages. THANK YOU. That is indeed clever and entertaining, I'll return to your channel in future! =D
I'm a beginner when it comes to card tricks, but the difference between red and black card numbers made me think the deck was stacked right away.
If you get slightly tipsy crowd somewhere this could work great though! You have alot of awesome tricks, thanks for all the uploads.
I appreciate the compliment. Thanks
I like it. I was looking for a trick that is both self working and where a free shuffle can take place. This fulfills both check boxes.
cool .... will try it ;) do you have a tutorial for these tricks where one card is marked with a pen ....think some ppl call it "stranger card" ?
thx and cheers

That's so cool, I just realized how it's so easy at the end, thanks man!! Keep it up!!!
When You Say Red and Black its like"Men in Black" Awesome Trick By The Way
finally something i can do with my cool looking cards that i've had for years. they're transparent. thanks for posting
lol i love all your tricks i have learned 3 of them so far and trying to do the more complicated ones :) thank you for the tutorials
that's well clever Jay, keep up the good work and carry on with your contests!
Thank you
Could you put 2 black cards in the box and say there will be 2 more red cards?
When I saw this I said, "it's self working!" and the second time it was different so I had no clue how it worked until you said you put some into the box.
Thanks. You prize went out yesterday :)
nice trick.
but when will contest 10 start?!!!
Thanks
You can leave the Jokers in the pack as well (with the 4 black cards on top). That way, when you take it out for the second turn you can act like the cards in the box were the Jokers and drop them.
my cards arent blue on the back, will this trick still work for me? Or should i go get some blue ones?
Ya think?
The correct title of this card trick is "Miraskill" created by Stewart James. This card trick is at least 60 years old. It's so old that it is "new" to you youtubers. But it goes to show you that good card tricks never get old.
Fantastic trick :)
Well done mismag822.
Does anyone know when the next contest will be?
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, I was thinking that it didn't make mathematical sense the first time!!!!! But now I see the light!!!
I think this trick is called Miraskil by Stewart Judah from the Jinx magazine
circa 1955
The second trick works because for the same reason as the first. For every black card you discard, you also discard a red card. Therefore, there will be the same amount of red pairs and black pairs.
can you tell me from where you get these cards??
when you go up to someone to show them, how are you supposed to set it up. they will see you put the cards in the box
How do u get your camera view so good
This is a trick based off the miraskill principle in expert card technique. There is a great John Bannon adaptation called view to skill I believe.
@MagicAddict11 Did you put the four black in the box?
do you have to hide 4 blacks or can you do 4 reds or can you hide 6 blacks?
What if someone wants to see the box before you do the trick because they might find it suspicious if you just come up to them with the cards already out of the deck.
you can setup like this: You can also prepare 1 red pair on the bottom and 1 black on the top. If the spectator says red, take the cards out except of the red pair. It's a bit tricky but practice that ;-) Greetz from Switzerland
ikr. i never carry the box with me so when i DO they will be suspicious of it
What if they ask you to do it again or to another person?
Very good. Its a version of Stewart James trick Miraskill. Nice trick.
nice:) I just hope to win...:) so mismag when is next contest>?....mabey monday....:)
@mismag822 your tricks are fun to watch.i am a big fan of u,which country do u belong

Simple yet stunning. I liked it. Thx

Wow that was a really cool trick! I think I'm going to do that
I perform this trick all the time and it's brilliant
4:47 does 4 cards really make a difference?
what about if they want you to do the trick 3 times?
I tried this on someone. After the first part, my friend told me. the deck could not be complete: at the center there are as many black as red. So, overall, here are more reds than blacks...
i cant do it mine are diffrent then 4 and when i put the cards back they dont become the same
@rambo2154 i think there was 10 red cards and 6 black cards. just check it.
Pretty cool effect.Really nice one.
I loved this trick!!
nice one!
should i take the jokers ???
when is contest no.10 ?
@brutalledgend hide as many as you want, but you need to change the prediction for it. This is a good trick because people would normally realise "well of course, there are an even amount of cards". the first is to throw them off.
omg this video is over 5 min :0
great trick, easy and effective

hello again everybody! thanks MisMag822.

I like your videos but this one is soooooooo easy... I already knew when you ended the trick that there were to less black cards, what's impossible when the deck is complete. And I also knew your second prediction would be that the piles are even.

i like how you start all your videos with "Hello again everybody"
poker size. bridge size is also possible
That Trick was on ScamSchool too by Brian Brushwood :)
cool trick. i watch scam school a lot so I had already seen it, but still great. I've already done it a few times.
I like it because in a way its self working and dont listen to these people pressuring you to do contest number 10 take your time
but what if your friend ask you to login to his youtube acc?
Great trick... and no gimmicks!
you are like way better than criss angel and david blane and the masked magician to, you are the master!!!
great effect.....i love it!......thanks for the explanation
hmm fun trick but the difference in piles the first time made it kind of obvious the deck wasn't full, and the putting of the cards in the box was also highly suspicious XD
It may seen obvious to you, but it will fool MOST people.
Awesome vid! 5 stars! Great card trick
Wow. This is potential for some serious mindgames.
What sucks is that u have to have a full deck if u missin one it wont work
Plz tell me what deck he is using
Looks like a standard deck of Bicycle. Which comes in either red or blue I believe.
+-PEves-
Also green, Aqua, purple and more
Nah, it does actually work.
Consider a worst case scenario, and all the red and black cards in the deck that CAN be alternated are. =3
I love when youtubers say in their videos, "There's a link right here." but there's no link at all.
heyy thankz for that! keep doing videos dude! :)
WOW this actually works thanks for posting this video
Your channel is superb
lol haha i worked it out easy cuz it is obvious that the piles always have to be even because there are even red and black so when there we different amounts i figured it out strait away
