This sedan is a winner for me if funds are not an obstacle for us drivers...
The thing is the octavia is very good price and quality+trunksize. But main issue now is that it is too big for most parking spaces nowadays. Everywhere here you must squeeze urself into small spots and even on parking in front of the house on a porche it sticks out on pedestrian space. So The only solution is with good enough space and quality wil be the Scala.
Funny how it’s illegal to use your phone when driving and then have car manufacturers placing literal iPads on dashboards to do the most basic things in the car.
I personally own a Skoda Octavia Ambition and been driving it for 3 weeks. Excellent drive, the mild hybrid means that when i release the accelerator, i glide to the next traffic light stop and the engine turns off (auto start-stop). And the mild hybrid battery stores power to immediately start the engine when i hit the accelerator without delay. The mild hybrid battery charges when you brake. I've been averaging 16-18km/l when driving 60% expressway 40% city in eco-driving mode. Comfortable interior, high quality audio system, great acceleration, fuel economy, and great seating and boot space. It's not a sports car, it's a powerful family sedan.
This color is bad I agree. But should not be used as a basis to rate the car. Hope to see the review of the new VRS in the future and how it holds up compared to the previous RS245.

9 out of 10 times you say behind is best left for 2...how about just calling out when you can fit 3 (idk maybe like S class or 7 series?) That would make people that watch all your reviews not think that you are just cutting and pasting your scripts.
Another highlight is that this 'compact' sedan comes with gas struts front engine hood cover...plus electric tailgate which none of its competition have.. Well done skoda.. No wonder the octavia is a top seller in europe... I like the vrs estate version too with 640l of boot space, 2.0t... For those who can't wait for the sedan vrs...

I love my skoda Octavia e tec 1.5 style very much, boring, dull i don't give a shit, it's just an excellent car.
