This is without doubt the best car RUclips channel
This is the first Škoda I will seriously consider buying. And that is not because of the name, but rather because of the look of the car. Previous models were designed like "they" were confused, kind of.........like "they" couldn't agree in which direction "they" want to go. But now, the car is looking good. And not just good. Very good. It looks like a car that want's to be taken seriously.
Way to go Škoda!

Definitely not a low trim - the only things missing are sunroof and leather/memory seats. A low trim would be with small infotainment system and with basic LED headlights.

Is the more sophisticated rear suspension also in the 1.5tsi 150hp /1.5 tsi mhev or on the models above 150hp only? Also was wondering if the mild hybrid system is providing any economy in city driving like the toyota hybrid system? If it is only beneficial for motorway driving then it seems vag group hybrid is not worth the extra cash..

I'm going to buy a car and i'm between octavia and the juke. i test drove both of them, the performance is the same it gets the job done pretty well, the quality on the juke feels better, but octavia is so spacious and comfy that you can do a thousand kilometers straight with this car and you won't feel tired at all. Haven't decided yet it's a tough choice.
Very very nice looking Skoda. Understand in the facelift physical buttons are back.

I have to comment too, almost no one reviews the entry models, thanks for that. Great job! Yes, fuel economy the same as 1.5 liter, but the car IS cheaper. And emissions are stated as lower, which is a thing today. If one never races in the fast lane, some money can clearly be saved. Anyway, most buying these today buy because they have poor options for charging, as soon as the charging problems are solved the car will most likely be replaced with a plug in/full electric car. And the fuel economy/performance equation is moot. Todays electric cars are racers compared to the old combustion ones. This is a car to get by meanwhile ....

Hi! Would it be possible to get a review on G-Tec Octavia? There is a considerable lack if information in english on natural gas powered vehicles.

As I know these 1.0TSI engines have little vibration during idling because of just 3 cylinders.
Nice budget-friendly estate. "intelligent" trunk cover .. non-removable it seems?
Having to do quite a bit of freeway, I like the tech with the adaptive cruise and blind-spot warning light. The lane keep assist is too intrusive and annoying imo, I hope you can choose what to switch on and off.
Would get the 1.5 for sure. I hope it also has removeable tow ability. Does it not have reversing camera (maybe option?). Bad UI
Other than the small engine and cloth seats, this would be a fully loaded model in the USA.

Only option you have is a VW golf unfortunately. Which is a basically the same car.
@@BartoniGaming no way, golf isn’t anything close. Golf is maybe the new Buick wagon but this Skoda is in a class if it’s own. More like a little brother to Mercedes E class wagon.

Idk how some people can hate Škoda models.... Škoda makes great quality cars for small amount of cash. For €30K u get everything what u get in some of Audi, BMW, Merc Benz and so on models... So dudes, chill out...
Why is ithe steeringwheel 3 spokes. The new Octavia is a 2 spokes in must of Europe. It’s just the VRs and the sport pack that have the 3 spokes here in Denmark ????

They do, but tend to do it less, as there’s less people who’d actually be able to get one. Sorry.

Which is best Golf, Leon or Octavia ?
Depends on your choice
If you want sportiness accompanied with some stylish exterior and tails lamps. Leon it is.
If you want a car that is composed and quiet that compromises fun drive to comfort suspension. Golf it is.
If you want a car best valued for money and the best practicality in class. Octavia it is .
Would not recommand the Seat Leon

This isnt fastback opening on the sedan but a liftback.
Skoda is not available here in Canada, rather unfortunate as I liked driving the one I had in Prague.

This particular one isn’t meant to be spritely. Although if specked with the mild hybrid double clutch gearbox then it’s actually not bad

Have one for 2 years... working great has acceleration OKish..
It's great. Economical and 3 cylinder sound is fun.
Each scene is stitched together very aggressively - there’s a need for a break or some videography with no speech. It gives the impression this was a rushed job.
I agree, 1 second or so before the cut happens would work wonders.

Base model cheap cars everyone can test for themselves, just go to a car rental and rent all of their cheap cars for a day each
front end looks suspiciuosly like the new mercedes S class and the rear end like G21 bmw 3 series. also, screw skoda, life is too short to drive boring cars
