For someone just unboxing the Merlin you make prettier sounds than some folks teaching lessons on RUclips. Mighty good ad for this instrument. Would appreciate seeing more on the Merlin. Thanks.
Really nice video. You do a great job of combining instruction with playing. Most videos are too much playing, not enough telling me how. Others are too much telling me how and I don't get to hear how it is supposed to sound. You have the perfect balance of these two things.
Nice overview. I just bought a Merlin off someone who hasn't used it. So, I guess it's new/old. I find the intonation is sharp, especially on the A string. Wondering whether a new set of strings would benefit . Even though the instrument is hardly used, the strings might be stretched from sitting under tension.

Yeah try new strings. No truss rod so I don’t know what all mantience can really be done you know
