It sounds like this rap beef turned out to be a good business move for Kendrick because it helped him gain new fans and his streaming numbers went up on all his old albums and all.

I think Wah Gwan Delilah would have been more enjoyed if it wasn't at the end of a historic rap beef. As a kid from Toronto and around the Southern Ontario area, it made me giggle most of the way through. It's silly. People gotta shift down a couple gears after the big fight and realize this was a moment of Drake not taking himself too seriously, which is something we'd been asking for.
The whole "pride becore a fall" thing definitely applies to Drake, if not also to Kanye, Nicki and many other artist whose humility level is in hell.
