MH has seen better days but they are still among my favourites. Crews are efficient and very very welcoming and friendly like most asian crews. Seat arrangements in economy are a bit tight, yet enough for a comfy short haul journey

I flew on that exact same flight for my graduation trip haha. Got assigned emergency exit seat, great legroom, great food, can't complain haha but the toilet queue is straight hell on a 737, 2 toilets shared among the entire economy class.
haha yeah single aisle plane with lav at the back is quite a pain. Especially when you can't stand in the galley. Thanks for watching Markel :D
Great video as always! I was also at the MH Golden Lounge a few weeks ago for a 4 hour transit. Likewise, the level of cleanliness was appalling in the shower booths. On a more positive note, I had the same delicious laksa as you :)
hahaha good, the laksa broth was a bit like curry but still quite good. Shame on the bathroom cleanliness, it wasn't like that when I visited before. Thanks for watching Eric :D

"Gordon Ramsay would be happy to see cornflakes put on chicken curry"... LOL! I'm not sure if you're aware of what happened in MasterChef UK last April, when a judge said about one Malaysian contestant's chicken rendang that "it's not crispy enough"... this caused a huge uproar in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Good video. Incidentally..I see you flew economy. I thought entrance to the Golden Lounge was restricted to business class pax ? I fly MAS regularly myself and take advantage of the "Late Upgrade" to business..cost about $AUD550 Adelaide to KL.
you can use the Golden Lounge if you have a oneworld sapphire or Emerald card! For this instance, I got in with my Qantas gold (sapphire) card :D
$550 is a really good deal by the way!!
The new lounge in KL International is very good with great food and plenty of seating options !! The shower looked disgusting !! IN my experience there is no separate security line for Business Class passengers ( I have done a number of flights between KL and Melbourne)....sorry MAS but no good enough !! Right here right now Jayden!! I always enjoy flying with Malaysia airlines...especially in Business Class as the satay is superb !! Well done and I have been catching up with some of your more recent videos which has been great !! Well done mate !!

Great video. It is bummed you flew on B738 to HKG instead A333. Lounge sink needs to clean. I am excited to fly MAS in few days from SIN to KUL to BKK. My hope for A350 or A380 to BKK 🤞🏼 So, did you transit in KUL after arrived from Australia?

Merry Xmas Jayden. I encountered the same issue of shower cleanliness at KLIA Golden lounge as you. Probably the same wet shower mat! lol. Shower attendants were lazy and disturbingly, seemed to be hovering for a tip. Other issue was the cleanliness of the seat upholstery in the lounge itself. Many seats were stained and had dirty armrests. Disappointing for MHs flagship lounge. A shame as I really quite like MH.
wow I wouldn't be surprised if that was the exact same towel! Shame on that if they're really looking for a tip! Not a good image for MH and Malaysia. Unfortunately, standards seem to have slipped in the Golden lounge, it used to be one of my favourite lounges and I said that in my older videos.

Do you know what type of engines was on the B737 on your flight?
Also, the coat hook in the lavatory, do you know if it’s strong enough for a Burberry winter coat, scarf and waist coat?
Also, the lounge in KLIA, do they have VEUVE champagne or Billecart? Finally, the ice cream bites, were there other flavours available? Would the crew offer an espresso with them if you so desire?
nope, I am not a big-engine geek guy. But according to their website, it is the CFM56-7BE. I went 'dry' that day so I don't know what alcohol was available. Only vanilla flavour was available and interesting fact, that was made in Thailand! Not sure if the 737 have a coffee machine, if they do, I'm sure the crew would happily make one for you if you ask them nicely :D

I remember Malaysia Airlines serves one flight per week from Kota Kinabalu to Perth with their Boeing 737-800. Anyway, good video, mate.

KLIA is always the cheapest in south east asia. I got a bargain for continental and everywhere
They are can be cheapest depending when you book. The cheapest I've ever seen is with Cathay $475 return. MH this time was the cheapest $555. Virgin is usually the cheapest. Thanks for watching Daniel!
Have you tried Royal Brunei ? They are dry airline though means no alcohol but they only fly to Brisbane or Melbourne

I've been to this lounge twice and the space and the bar are quite nice with an expansive view of tarmac. However, I was less thrilled with the food selection and quality.

I hope you complained about that lounge shower room both to the lounge manager and Malaysia Airlines...totally unacceptable. I wonder how they prevented the cornflakes going soggy in the container?
yep I'm sure the airport toilets were cleaner! I never thought about the cornflakes crunchiness 🤨they were still, in fact, very crunchy when I ate them.

Well, your positive experiences with MH continue Jayden, although I thought the cabin crew didn`t appear to quite have their hearts in their job on this flight. The state of the shower room at the KL lounge was concerning and is not something I`ve known of at any other lounge.
Agree, the crew were fine but not exceptional. I had amazing crew on my return flights to Adelaide!! I'll have the videos uploaded next year :D

I would not fly MH B737 for more than 2 hours flight because seat is not comfortable (no headrest & average seat pitch). Anyway, single aisle airplane always not my favourite choice.
what puts me off the most is not having headrest. Even if I don't sleep I'd love a headrest. It feels 'empty'. Thanks for watching :D

I didn’t think they flew the 737 to HKG. Hmmm I’m unsure about the PTV positioned so far from the seat and as for the state of that lounge bathroom ffs 😱 #coathooksquad
