Hello! 1st time watching, it was a BLAST! I have a question or two:
How do you clean or revive your vintage jewelry like the last item- the mother of pearl hearts necklace with the brass chain? I love it but it turns my skin green. Also, how do you clean your chains & stuff that are costume jewelry, or gold plated? I have quite a collection going! I've sold a few pieces at garage sales, but I just like collecting vintage & antique jewelry & ocasionally giving as gifts.

If only I'd known Sarah Coventry was going to be something. 🤦♀️ I'd be rich! Mother had gobs of it. Also had oodles of other pieces but can't remember the name. It was all the rage in 60's/70's(80's?). She'd buy pieces every chance she got.

Question: How do you know on site that a piece has genuine pearls? I know you have YEARS of experience & a good eye , but I can’t wrap my head around glass faux pearls v the real deal.
I can see the tiny imperfections and recognize coating and weight

When you were looking at the wood set I seen the hummingbird pin with the flower that looks so beautiful I wish you would have got that or at least looked at it. If you can go back and take a look at it it looked really old and vintage😊

My Daughter Lorna bestie.. Beanies.. Brought a ring in a charity shop in our Town in the UK she paid £1.75 for it something just said but me!.. Not really her style a few weeks later she took it to a jewellers to see how much it is worth ... It's worth £35.000 it's Victorian she now calls it her nest egg ..😂

I was looking through the comments and, forgive me if someone already mentioned this, there was a stamp on the gold clasp you thought might be Joan rivers. Hello Pufles! I use a presidium and a fancy diamond tester and black light and 409 and probably some other things too, and a jeweler if I'm really stumped
The butter dish I've seen it go from $15 to $25. Could be more because I have not found that one type. But it's definitely a Vintage Country Cottage.

I have the mother of pearl necklace but mine is différent as the pieces are separated by 10 tiny white beads for every mother of pearl . I would préfer the chain version , but mine does hang well re the séparation beads. Th cottage butter dish , dont know if its this vidéo or another , I had , but with a bottom part same . Your bottom part a lot different
