He was mistaken on bigboss requirements because you kill people while in the jeep. I've gotten bigboss rank on this game, unless they re-edited the code to not count that.
people mod the living hell out of games like persona 4 and 5 and those games were never released on pc, im guessing its possible, but no one wants to cuz the game would be still pretty mediocre
There's no Meryl hate, it's just speedrunners don't like to save her during runs because they have to waste more time doing that and also have to spam the button to do it which is annoying lol
