Well, ignoring relativity anyways (moving and being in a gravitational field both slow time, making real time technically not consistent, but it's not significant under normal conditions).

You don't actually "bump" into gaurds on mgs1. You can just go through. He does wake up, just not instantly. A gaurd that's awake will instantly go into alert when a pixel of your body touches them.
Cameron Lynch that's kind but you should really be speaking about your own opinion instead of making up others to boost yours. Try using myself instead of every one of us (who is us anyways, is there more than one of you?). A small correction that will elevate the way you communicate.
I'm not a MGS person and did not expect to like this run. But the commentary was really good, nice people and runner, some good jokes and banter - i really enjoyed it!

On console ps1 it took me just over 8 hours from start to finish….got it nailed to 3hrs 18mins my fastest time. Was well proud of that ! Amazing game !
How did you not take any damage at 55:07 ? I tried going behind the pillar but I keep taking damage, is there a trick or something I’m missing, or is the pc port just broken.
i just started watching this and im as shocked as you are, inmeadiately jumped to google and cant fin anything. must be a feature from the PC port. im sure in the original ps1 version you have to hold triangle for the first person mode and the directionals simply tilt/turn your view, if you realease triangle then its back to 3rd person
@@josesanroman1988 on the ps1, you can use the first person mode only on the version 1.1 (integral - 3 discs) of this game. Completing the main game once on any difficulty will unlock "1P View Mode" on the Special sub-menu.

I finished pc version, and no bugs appeared for me
The worst things about the PC version are the imprecise movement controls and the low quality sound effects and music.
@@Katana2097 the movement controls are not an issue at all, they just make it seem like it is one. 8 Directions is more than enough.
