Correction DNB has fixed fees across India irrespective of private, corporate or government hospital. It's around 1.2 lakh per year which is quite reasonable!! MD fees at GMC Amritsar is 1.5 lakh per year and many more such examples.
I think the doctors holding a DNB degree are exit after passing a national level DNB exit exam but a MD/MS degree holding doctor exit by giving a local university level exam. Hence, I think DNB maintaining a national standards.DNB I think superior.

Sir, in your analysis of the neet 2020 paper you had said that it stands in between 2018 and 2019 paper. But 2020 turned out the other way round. How would you comment on this sir, was the paper really that easy or is it that its high time we realise competition is getting tighter, peeps have started preparing well n all that. So is it wise to give it a next try for NEET 2021. How risky that would be! Thanks in advance sir! ♥
DNB passing rate ( in 1st attempt) is very less for Primary DNB in peds, ortho,Radio Diagnosis. It's hardly 10-30% for primary DNB in 1st attempt. I am saying "1st" attempt ,not in multiple attempt.
What's the consensus now regarding number of years of SRship to be eligible for assistant professor for DNB candidates in non teaching institution? Also what about candidates who do diploma from teaching medical colleges and do post diploma DNB from non teaching?
*NMC Act* The Diplomate of National Board in broad-speciality qualifications and super-speciality qualifications when granted in a medical institution with attached hospital or in a hospital with the strength of five hundred or more beds, by the National Board of Examinations, shall be equivalent in all respects to the corresponding postgraduate qualification and the super-speciality qualification granted under this Act, but in all other cases, senior residency in a medical college for an additional period of one year shall be required for such qualification to be equivalent for the purposes of teaching also.

Sir am a DCH candidate. I will be taking up DNB in this January session counseling. Please help Post-Diploma candidates to choose a good institute for Secondary DNB. And also your opinion regarding MD vs DNB Pediatrics.
Good video sir...but point c as explained ,is wrong...extra one year as SR is needed to be eligible for post of AP. All DNbs are eligible for SEnior residency.
The whole slide discussed is about eligibility for teaching faculty ie. AP position and not eligibility for SRship. Obviously any DNB is eligible to do SRship.

Don’t know about the pass percentage, but it’s a good hospital, decent patient load, lots of investigation facilities, great stipend, hands on and freedom, only issue is below average teaching.
