I wish you would have shown a clear, in focus shot of the factory installed brass engine block. I just purchased a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 3.0 Eco Diesel. Jeep tells me that they have discontinued installing block heaters in their ecodiesels, so buying a $90 cord isn't going to do anything for me. Inspecting the brass fitting in the engine block, I don't see any male/female configuration where the cord has anything to connect to. It's basically a hollow brass fitting. I was hopeful that you would have shown a picture of the brass fitting without the red/orange plastic cap to see what that is supposed to look like. I am assuming it is a three pronged male fitting that the cord plugs onto?
I heard about this for newer models that they don't come with the plug. I'm very sorry about that. Had I known that they were going to ditch that, I would have done a more exhaustive look at how things plug in.
