- Its been a couple of days since I clear coated the 57 ragtop, now it's time for reassembly. I have some proper 2 door belair trim, but I'm still missing a few pieces. Belair trim ain't cheap so I'll have my eyes peeled at swap meets and yard sales.
I also changed up the wheels for a cool new look! Summer is finally her and we are 1 windshield away from cruising!

Hello there cowboy here again yes we understand the bright work is old and could be better but if you squint and the though rose colored glasses you can surely see the potential it's there for sure from what it was to now I'd be proud to take her for a Crouse it'll for sure turn head's and get thumbs up looks good sounds awesome great job be safe healthy and happy God Bless 🤠

That car looks sharp, adding the chrome and hub caps made a huge difference.

It looks really good, really good. What a bunch of work that was! But it is rewarding when you finally get a chance to cruise in YOUR 57' rag top. I give you all the credit in the world for staying motivated thru all of your projects. Its not easy to do and still keep a sense of humor. That is something I think I have learned watching you. When things don't go your way, just make a new plan and keep on chipping away at it. Eventually, you will adapt and overcome, or just beat it into submission. Either way, as long as you don't quit, you win! Get that glass in there and drive that baby. Miles of smiles......

Crumble up aluminum foil and polish chrome with it it's great for rust pits it's amazing
I use D&L hand cleaner with the foil and it works amazing👍
@@thman6453 the aluminum foil kinda fills rust pits and scratches I'll try the hand cleaner next time
Great looking old convertible for a young couple, I am an old school hot rodder and my 57 hardtop has Cragar ss mags on her and would not change them for any other type of wheel. Red 1957 Belair and Cragar wheels any body style always looks Wonderful, Great job Dan and I can see Dani;s pink hair blowing in the breeze now,

Sos is only thing I always use on Chrome and stainless. Nothing is any better

Love the wheel's great job. In 71 my Acadian SS had small hub caps with a A in the center looked great.
Looks great! Chrome reverse and baby moons is classic retro too. And of course, Chevy Rally’s look good on anything.
