Put the smelters right behind the drills... if tou have them upgrade the same level, the exact output of drill is the imput for smelters. Or you can just thresh the cooper or the iron and melt after and double the production. But in the early stages its better to use that way
Alot is down to people on steam complaining about changes, but if your new to it and don't mind the confusing menus then it's good little automation game
I played it in early access. A lot of people are upset about how the map got split up vertically instead. Honestly, I feel it makes the game less of a slog and more interesting. Would definitely recommend it now
Craft every high-end/expensive items only in Assemblers because they make 2 or 4x(mk2) and you get 1x if you craft by hand... Straight up waste of materials. =)

Yeah, as was mentioned, the negativity is with those unhappy with changes. But I think it's a great game how it is right now.
