The front camera only worked for a few seconds before the image used to freeze (iPhone 6 128gb) and I'm happy to say that applying pressure below the rear-camera ( as described at 1:05 ) solved it for me! Thanks a bunch!

for all of you that this isn't working for, try what I did to make it finally work. I went to my settings and clicked on general, then click on "Date & Time". Set your iphone back to a date where the camera worked. I set mine to april 21st. Then press the home and power button at the same time and you'll get a blue screen (Its restarting) after that your camera SHOULD work. It worked for mine and so far there are no negative repercussions from this on my phone.
Hi. I just want to thank you very much it worked!! I did the first 2 options and it didn't work and then i did the 3rd option and that worked. I am not sure if it was a combination of all 3 that made it work or just the 3rd option but its wort to do all 3. Thanks thanks!! Not sure which of my app was the problem because i now turned all of them back on again and the camera is still work. Probably one of the apps triggered it but now got fix. Thanks again. 1- Hard reset (hold down power & home button simultaneously) 2- turn phone over and press firmly around the lens. Its possible that one of the camera connectors was dislodged. 3- settings-privacy-camera- troubleshoot and figure out what app is causing issues by disabling. You may want to disable all of them first then try your camera and if your camera works then its one your apps that is causing the problem.

My camera was stuck on a black screen and wouldn’t flip sides, or it would be stuck on one image from first opening the camera, then it would get blurry, then clear again but still frozen, it would work every now and then when I opened it but most of the time it wouldn’t, I held down on the camera icon and shut my phone down and now it works! So I try the first hack at 1:11…and it WORKS! I shut down my phone, took off the case and pressed the back camera, then the front camera. the problem my camera was having is it wouldn't let you take video. Acted like the memory was full. even after deleting several videos it would only record about a second of video. I went trough your steps in order and step number 4 fixed that issue it seems. I didn't get the opportunity to try step 5. Anyway thank you. My issue is now I have to reprogram a pass code to access the phone and all my background settings are now gone.
