Wow!!!! That is the first time i've cried over a Rose/10 videos in ages!! Years maybe even!!! The song, the video......they just fit.....PERFECTLY!!!! BRAVO!!!!
I found a version sung by Sarah Morgann, its just gorgeous. I found it on itunes when I was searching for various versions and just fell in love this this one.
This is good. I've never seen Dr. Who, I was just looking for a good version of this song to add to a playlist. Your music video makes me actually want to see the show. ^_^
I think the movie is called An American Tail. Love the video. The song is simply beautiful and I love the way you've arranged the clips, especially the splicing in of third season clips. Great Video! :-)
i had to look around to find a version i really liked. i knew i wanted to use this song, but the only ones i could find were from the movie or 80s-fied versions. so i just looked the song up on itunes, b/c lots of people cover it, and i found this version and i fell in love with it! i also think this version makes the lyrics all the more poignant too. :)
I got this song off of iTunes so it is copyrighted and I can't share it-sorry; however, you should be able to find it on itunes. The artist is Sarah Morgann and the album is Cantatrice. Hope that helps!
You're a very civilized person. I admire you and appreciate you very much. For any other one facing such response will be very annoyed + irritated. Take care, ciao ciao
The song is very sweet... where did you find this version? The one in the movie was sung by a much younger girl. The thing that made me sad was when she sang about being beneath the same sky, yet they can't have even that anymore, being in different universes... sniff.
I debated whether or not to delete this comment, but I will reply. Yes, I know Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram are the original performers, I simply forgot the film that is came from, I never said "little mouse song" I said "mouse movie" which is not an insult it is about a mouse... I wrote that blurb over a year ago, it is meant to be a quick video overview and name the artist covering the song (again I do realize that this song is cover of the classic one despite my youth and ignorance).

I fell in love too when I heard this mysterious voice sing Somewhere Out There!
Actually, the song was sung by the original actors of the movie 'An American Tail', Phillip Glasser and Betsy Cathcart.
The movie was a Faeture Films for Families movie originally.. I think it was called Feivel Goes West or maybe that was the sequel...
Thank you so much! And you should definitely check it out, the show is fabulous! :)

lol, the mouse movie. The best part of American Tale is when the cat is trained by the sheriff dog, voiced by Dom DeLuise.
