I’m glad to see many comments say what’s needed to be said for a long time. He needs to sober up and get it together.
I’m 31, and started partying at 17, went to college and partied, which these weekend warrior shenanigans turned into full AUD by 30, which finally made me stop and get help.
Alcohol is the only substance that hits all 7 of the pleasure points/receptors (opiates, gaba, etc) in the brain. That’s why after years of boozing, you can’t control how much you drink because your brain has created a positive reinforcement cycle for it. Chemically, your brain now is wired around alcohol consumption. That’s why it’s a demon of a habit to kick.
He’s not being cool, or being a rockstar. Most of those “rockstars” throughout music are dead. Their band mates wised up and got it together.
This is reckless behavior and he could’ve killed somebody. I’ve been blind drunk in downtown Nashville and it’s a gong show down there.
With the money he has, he should man up and get the help, before it’s too late.

It’s called AUD (alcohol abuse disorder). People that have a healthy relationship with booze don’t do his. I did the weekend only thing and I ended up drinking more heavily. I’ve now since gotten help and understand my relationship with alcohol.
Morgan needs to completely dry out for a while and get clinical help to significantly reduce the consumption, or cut it out, altogether.

Odds are he will spend another decade or two fighting his demons. He seems powerless against it. As much as I like Eric Church, alcohol also seems like a bad habit for him and his brother died from alcoholism. America and country music have a drinking problem.
I have this feeling Morgan Wallen will die from alcohol poisoning/drug overdose like Keith Whitley did, while at the height of his music career if he continues to drink. I have that gut feeling it will happen to any heavy drinking country music chart topping superstar within the next 3 years Same with Elle King. Lots of drugs and alcohol in that business.

My son was the arresting officer and all of them were laughing it up. I guess the police understand he has a drinking problem but this could very well be a pivitol event and one needed.
I think he will hopefully wise up and act like an adult. Plus, he is a representative of country music. Part of that is wising up.

Hey, I love Morgan Wallen I’ve seen several times in concerts. I paid nearly $350 a ticket take myself and my teenage girls and I’m going to Stagecoach soon.
I thought you would’ve had a big apology right now and I can’t believe he hasn’t!! It’s not OK to be drunk, drunk, and do stupid stuff. Lots of Parents their kids to his concerts. He has a huge influence.! And he’s a dad himself. I’m not his biggest fan now.

I worked with Hank Jr on several occasions and during shows as his personal protection back when Hank was goin thru a really wild few years. He was even banned from performing in Chattanooga for several years after "allegedly" urging fans to fight....duh. "all my rowdy friends". He wasn't charged with anything and the ban only resulted in Chattanooga losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost revenue from his sold out shows....
Point I'm tryin to make but not very well is even Hank never did anything to harm or potentially harm anyone while i was with him or that i know of anywhere. Perhaps some of these new male stars are trying to emulate Hank after years of hearing about one of the original bad boys of country music. Of course no cell phones and videos, or instant communication back then. Perhaps someone will interview Hank Jr. for his take on the situation.
As TO this incident Morgan had to know how heavy the chair was and still tossed it blindly over the side of the building. Similar to a drunk driver havin a crash and injuring innocent people. The drink driver didn't set out to injure anyone but on the other hand didn't care if it happened. I was thinkin that maybe it was just one of those cheap plastic chairs we all have owned. His best net woukd be to say that he thot a ledge would catch the chair. But i guarantee he will not be laughing when he stands before a judge. Hopefully this will be the wakeup call he needs. Jellyroll won the award and HE could really give Morgan some advice on bad behavior. Especially stupid and dangerous bad behavior.

I don’t think this was intentional. Having fun. He wasn’t charged with intoxication. He’s a good man. Works so hard. He loves us all. If it was intentional who kept messing with him to make him mad. And he didn’t hurt that person. Even the cops or chair didn’t get hurt. Yes someone could have. But didn’t. He is always under so much pressure from people because he’s a musician. But let’s look at his heart, that’s all he wants. He wants us to understand him and not his fame. He deserves better from us. There’s much more worse going on in this world. How about working on that. Instead of all this wasted time talking about Morgan. He’ll be just fine. He’s got family friends staff there for him, and I am to.
