Sad way to find out that his friends was Never his Friends smh
Absolutely shamefull if the info being shared by the family is true. His fraternity brothers left him and then went on to celebrate the rest of the weekend instead of searching. I bet someone conscious is about to burst and he might actually find our what really happened. Just sad all the way around.

My son is about to be 16 and a sophomore in high school this kid reminds me so much of my son and it honestly scares me once he goes off to college 😔. We collectively as a city failed that boy and his family. Its so sad and i repeatedly said after they reported the case that metro should had been looking in that river on Saturday evening or Sunday morning not the following Tuesday. I feel as if they Waited way to long to really search that river and i don't mean just searching the riverbank right in that area i mean really searching the river with divers and lidar etc
Because i am a born and raised nashvillian and am 40 yrs old and even in my teens and early 20's i remember many many newscasts where many people including homeless, or someone who was intoxicated had been found in the Cumberland. Its not a safe area around the Cumberland especially if the water level is up, the current is pretty strong and can take you pretty far down the Cumberland in little time. I also remember during major drinking events or holidays they would report kn the news that you could call the non emergency police number for a ride if you were to drunk to get home/ to your hotel and they also use to have metro in ATVs that would drive ppl to their hotels around there downtown if it wasnt far from where they were. I remember this as a kid so why do we not still do this what happened to this?! Why wasnt a cab or uber called or why didn't the bar have one of his friends walk him back to the hotel?!! I don't understand i feel like Luke Bryan's bar is also at fault too because they should had did more than just boot him out the door like what the fuck?!!

One that stands out is ‘why didn’t the bar have one of his friends walk him back to the hotel???’. How can ‘a bar’ make someone do this? They aren’t your parents. How about ‘why wasn’t an Uber called…’ by who, the bar again? What if something happened to a drunk person ‘the bar’ put in an Uber? Now who are we going to blame? The bar, the person from the bar that made the phone call? The Uber driver, the Uber company? All of this blaming is ridiculous. The ‘blame’ if it’s necessary, starts with Riley for drinking with people that didn’t have his back.
My heart aches for his mom. She's so devastated. Being a mother to two grown boys and just losing my soulmate of almost 26 years the day after Christmas, I can totally relate. My youngest is Riley's age.💖🙏

I live in Nashville. I have a son who lives near the stadium. Violent Crime is up in East Nashville. This case makes me really mad. Why was he wearing a belt, jeans and boots and then gone? Was he robbed and tossed in the water? They covered up Covington. I don’t think the city is being honest.

If the bar over served him then threw him out they are responsible. When bars overserve and someone drives home and kills someone the bar is responsible, gets sued and loses their alcohol licence. They overserve to make money then dont call cabs for these people. They toss them out inebriated and unable to care for themselves.

This story is unbelievably sad. It could happen to anyone under any circumstances. I feel deeply for him and his parents/ family. I hope someone finds out the truth of what happened. Riley looks like a good, decent kid.

My heart goes out to this family. You can see the horror and heartache on their faces. No one deserves to be left asking How? Why? what happened for the rest of their lives. I hope and pray they can find some answers and eventually find some peace. This should have never happened. There were too many people traveling with him and if he was disorderly in the bar, a Lyft should have been called and someone seen he got back to his room safely. You don't go out of town and not stick together, especially when alcohol is a part of the evening activities. Wandering around alone in a tourist city and walking back to your hotel at night alone when you haven't been drinking is risky enough. Tragic all the way around.

So sad. This never should have happened to Riley. I'm incredibly sorry for his family's unbelievable loss. Nashville cops blew it big time. They need to be investigated for their massive failure to protect the public.

I blame Luke Bryan’s for making him leave unattended & his so called friends. I hope the family gets justice which they can then do something to honor him🙏I’m from NJ and my 22 year old son was there on 3/10 with frat friends but I know when they are drinking, your no one’s friend. I was sick & heart broken for his mom💔I can’t even imagine her pain. I’ve experienced something after this happened & actually prayed to Riley that another mother would not have to feel that pain. So called the police & they found my son who was intoxicated & lost. When he returned home the next day again being with frat friends here in NJ he was mad I called the police but I told him ab praying to Riley & that my prayers were answered. I ordered a pin with Riley’s picture on it & when my family went to Nashville with my son on 4/6, I wore his pin & walked in the area where he did & said a prayer on 4/8. I would not go to Luke Bryan’s bar. My heart goes out to his mom & family & I still continue to pray God gives her the strength to go on & do something in his memory🙏
So the wrongful death attorney makes me think they didn’t find drugs in his system. So now we’re looking for someone else responsible. The bars? Luke Bryan? I understand it’s all part of the grieving process. It’s just so sad. Eventually they might have to accept that it was an accident.

I wish they would release the results so everyone will actually know and not have all this speculation of what happened. Whether his frat brothers had something to do with his death or not they still are to blame for letting him leave by himself in an unfamiliar city. Its evident he was drunk but i still don't buy the cops theory of an accident. Look at the terrain it was steep and rough. The body would have had injuries somewhere falling down that embankment. Most of the public is invested in this case and as well as his parents and family need answers the public does as well. For all we know the cop could have been involved and thats why u dont see any other footage released because they have the proof on tape and wanna keep it hidden. This story is sad as well as a tale that's old as time. The tale of a young man looking for love in all the wrong places then making a series of bad decisions which ultimately lead to his untimely passing nothing more nothing less, no one else to blame or seek a payoff from. Not the frat brothers nor the wonderful city of Nashville. I am absolutely heartbroken for his mother as well as his friends however this is what it is.
