To be fair writing ain't that hard to shift thru genres if you just know kinda the looked rhytm and do listen differend genres aka know what are the topics. Say like if you are a tehchnical and good writer with rap (don't even need to be technical but it helps, need to just tone it down), then you can just write whatever. Like do a generic break up song in more so poem form and then mold it into a song form. You get a knack on it quite fast. Learn to sing and prefferably to learn guitar and that's that. Post Malone can do those two things in rudamentary fashion and that's enough. Most don't go across genres for not having the need to do that. Since if you make it in one and keep on honing that, it's achieved a lot already and they usually have passion for That genre. Still you can see that say Ed Sheeran can rap or Miley Cirus to do country or pop. It really is not that crazy. Other reason why many doesn't do it is because they are a brand with what they do. That's why when some teen star turns into adult they need this some song that shows that the image has been changed (with Miley it was just her trying to get from under Disney and it was succesfull)(To todays standard it is nothing.. but only maybe the photoshoot with her hand inside underwear.. you know). Then the music can change a bit but not genre really. Still like if Ariana Grande would suddenly do saaay a metal album with whole band, it wouldn't match the brand so the label wouldn't put it out. It's more so early on being able to make audience accustomed to you changing genres. Then you can change in between more fluently since it's expected. Kinda like Mgk, he can do a pop-punk or a rap tour and it's just a bit differend audiences where even there usually is cross-over.

Two of the most humble & sweetest men in show bizz!!🤠😎💕😎🤠
Jelly could work with anybody he is just that kind of guy I just love him and I love Post and love what he did with Eminem
Do u like Yelawolf and struggle Jennings? Omg yelawolf did a great rock album with shooter Jennings called Sometimes Y,...beautiful song called rock and roll baby...
Good music is good music…rap, country, classical, blues…it’s how it makes you feel!
Thankyou for introducing me to these gems !
I first discovered Post Malone only thru Billy Strings of all people. Both are great!
Post is incredibly awesome ❤
Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Shaboozie. I'm really digging where country music is going.
@nah....6151 opinions, man.
POSTY is a true Texan...❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've been asking for a posty country album since the Sturgis and paisley covers. I'm so elated to hear there is an album in the works
Jelly Roll? He is what Eisenhower would call "The Jelly Industrial Complex." Dude is ALL the jelly. He dwarfs the dude interviewing him. I'm not even talking about his weight. Dude is a big boy either way. Love you, Roll!!!
I love Post Malones music
A banger is a banger, doesn't matter if it's a one-off or not.
Love Posty! Post Malone and Hi Jackson and The Country Club are both from Dallas and releasing fantastic country albums this year! Loving 2024!
I cried yesterday when I heard Randy T sing...HE WALKED ON WATER...last week cried over DONT TAKE THE GIRL...
Post Malone is the most sweetest, most genuine person! So talented!
Post and Jelly are Gems.
Jelly does do country, and in the past rapped ,but for me it's his style on Rock that he's probably best at. Addiction Kills and Self medicated are 2 of his best albums to me.
Post is from Grapevine, TX... we KNOW our REAL Texas Country here....
CBCS.
Grew up in Grapevine, moved down to Klein (Spring/Tomball) in ‘72. Sorry dude Grapevine isn’t country. Name a “country oriented” night sop in Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake…..
@@michaeldubyalol it appears country on the surface, but the people are just the same as every other North DFW suburb
I used to live in Granger where all my dad’s side is from.
Grapevine isn't a flex when it comes to country music. What's country about the suburbs? Not dogging Posty! He's a phenomenal musician and is Texan in his heart I truly believe it. I hope he succeeds to the highest level. So, nothing at all bad to say about the man! Your comment Stone Cold? Well, that dog don't hunt, baby!
Post can not be labeled. ❤ He's literally everything 😢
I love jelly roll and posty both are badass singers and have huge hearts
Post can do whatever, he's good at being a genuine awsome human being ✌️💚. my 13 year old daughter was right about him 11 years ago, he's fuckin awsome!!
Both these 2 are true good ole boys you'd find in any real town in the country working at the feed mill or servicing your car
Post Malone has finally made me get inti and love country music!
I like Post Malone! Unlike Beyoncé he is singing real country. Keep on keeping on!!
So does she, she's from TX also
Black people created country 💀
@@scottycollins1829No She doesn’t. She may be from Texas, but she’s definitely not a country artist.
@@h.b16 Listen to the album. The songs they put out for country radio shouldn't have been. Most of the album sounded like half of modern country radio so yeah, she is singing country music.
I am not a posty because im old, but I think he is a good human being and I think he'll do great in country. All genres change as the new kids come on the block and im excited to hear it!
Cool to see jelly getting his flowers finally
Talent is talent, post Malone is full of talent. I love his work
I’m glad artists are following there voice and feeling.
For some reason I am all for the country tunes, but I still like those older cooler hits with the swag/hip-hop influences and I am 77 years old with a Posty tribute tat.
Posty is a real down home humble man..hes a good guy takes time for his hans and i really think this country album will be amazing.Just be yourself Posty your such a sweetheart.❤
Post is a country boy 🥰
Jelly Roll is great! I am 67 and was married to a country percussionist. He hated being called, "A drummer."
first time watching your videos and this was a great video and very informative.
I live in Nashville born and raised. Jelly roll is a bright shining star in the country music over all pop teeny bopper bulshit claiming to be country. Let's go post Malone and yellow. And my favorite rock band now Ronnie from falling in Reverse . ..LFG
I'm looking forward to hearing post new album
Can really tell in recent years how close the twang in a country song is to the slang in a hip hop song. It's all theater, but that means every time a southern person speaks they're putting on a little show
Post has talent. Hard to deny quality.
Just let the music be heard! No need to judge any artist! If you can write to all genres then go for it!
The fact that Jelly Roll threw out “James Taylor’s ‘Fire & rain’”, bumped that guy even higher on my respect list.
They are so Awesome Together ❤❤❤❤
Both are very talented.they can sing anything.
His heart is in country because country is simple, honest, and genuine and thats him. He grew up in Texas. Hes a natural fit.
I'd like to think that I don't judge people, but I did judge Post by his face tattoos and he proved me so wrong that I will never make that mistake again. He is a super nice guy and has talent to spare. Kinda like Jelly Roll. But I heard tons of great stuff about Jelly before I even heard him sing. Post grew up in Texas and his roots are deep in country.
