This video will show you what options are available from IROC Motorsports for customizing the tail lights on your 1993-2002 Firebird (any model). It shows everything from Clear Lenses to a custom made CETA Style set of tail lights.
My name is Mark DeLisle. A lot of the products you find on IROC Motorsports, MAGG Performance, or previously 6LE Designs are items I personally created or curated out of love. I'm creating content to share with you how parts go from my mind to your door.
I designed this piece to have a nice OEM finished look and feel while still allowing the customer plenty of options for customization as well as do-it-yourself versions to keep the costs down.

Very cool, I have an 02 firebird honeycomb pattern, one has gotten dark, will differently check out your site. Those look great.
You can fix the dark one with a heat-lamp. Just soften the glue that holds the lens on, pry it off, then paint your reflective housing silver. Glue it back together. Done.
I'm happy to see these are more affordable now cause that $700 that was being asked wasn't really feasible lol I don't know if you are the same guys that were selling the $700 lens sets lol I'll be buying these this week😁 I can live with $250 but not $700 lol

Yup especially if they are the 93-97 base style. Super easy to cut.
i cant believe how expensive the factory ones are...even on ebay...this is a good alternative.
Just a quick question, what type of bumper chrome metallic would you recommend? I’m trying to fix my dark taillight due to the oem chrome becoming dark. Thank you
Is the vinyl honeycomb on the outside?
Any chance ur working on the older style of tail lights? The black grid style? My lenses are breaking off but the housings are really good :(
Yup I have a way to mod those just not a way to make them look 💯 oem.

Are these able to be done with the lense looking like the OEM red? Specifically for 98-02. Or is it only clear and the white color?

I also have a red set I converted from crappy OEM housings for $850 shipped. Has broken mounting tabs (one on each housing) but bolts on fine and can’t see once installed of course.
Totally bad ass however $400 is a little steep for basically covers. If and when the price comes down I'd definitely buy several sets asap
I agree but price actually went up $50 already. Material costs have doubled since I started this as has shipping. If you want to buy several then email me because I can definitely discount. Shipping alone (all in one box) knocks off $50 a pair.

The factory lights only blacken when exposed to rain. I own 3 2002s, 2 of which have never seen rain & all 3 are still perfect.
What happens when you wash the car ? 😅
It has nothing to do with Rain , more so to do with the water intrusion issues and the seal failing … LT1 style grids had a problem with delaminating …. Camaros had a similar problem with their Reverse light lenses falling off while driving …. GM was shit back then as they are shit right now … We just gotta make em better and think for the idiots that made our junk ….
It’s not rain or water it’s luck of the draw. It’s just crap chrome that turns black from GM like the crap glue they used on the roofs.

How do you attach your lenses? How do you keep the moisture out?
After years of trying every sticky adhesive I could find…. VHB mounting tape by 3M has turned out not only to be the easiest and cleanest to apply, but it seems to seal better as well.
Apply a thin bead of clear silicon to the perimeter (after they are bonded with the tape) if it helps you sleep better lol.
These housings are all so old though generally you’re better off sealing them with the bonding tape AND drilling a few small weep holes (one under each light socket basically) to let moisture get out in case it does get in.

Yup. Called a monopoly you can charge whatever wanted with no competition
Yup. It’s a three part process to make them. We form lenses, then apply the design, then apply a uv protectant. It just adds up especially since it’s so low volume we get zero price breaks.

Are you planning to offer lt1 checkerboard lenses?
Yup already designed and have made new lenses that don’t have the reverse light circle to match that style better.
I’m just waiting on new housings we’re making to finish old orders then you’ll see a lot of new stuff.
That would be great! I would like to restore a set of old checkerboards for my 95 and don’t want to integrate the round backup light design of the honeycomb lense

@@Austin349Ta no because to be honest I don’t do that myself. I have them steamed and stretched on, little more complicated that applying tint but pretty similar to a good wrap.
