Welcome back fu&^%rs, this sortie was an absolute blast to fly and is the reason why the Apache is going to be an amazing module for multicrew fun.

I hope you got a laugh out of this one, flying with mates is super fun and having to coordinate with each other in a single module is so amazing and adds to the success or failure of a sortie/mission.

Yeah once I get more comfortable with it I’ll look at doing some tutorials on what I’ve found works best for sure. CO-OP rockets are very accurate when you line the I bar up correctly 👌🏻
Yeah I still can't figure rockets out...George + 16x Hellfires for me :p

Also, how the feck did you get head movement going in multiplayer? I have yet to witness it.
I think it’s a dsync issue when you have loads of people in a multiplayer server. In a public server it never seems to work but when I hosted the server myself it worked fine.

Hey Torni, nice sortie. I have a noob question about the apache hunting ground mission. Maybe you can answer it. If I play it in singleplayer and fly to one of the waypoints, will the different missions start randomly or can I choose one of the missions by F10 menu?
AFAIK once you get within a certain distance of the waypoint you’ve chosen to do missions from it will give you F10 radio options to request a tasking

30 for rudder pedal curves but I did just get some new rudder pedals so just setting them up now to give them a test

How can you get the co pilots helmet to move around? When I fly my co pilots head does not move
I think it works intermittently in multiplayer atm, sometimes it works for me, other times it doesn’t 🤷♂️ hopefully they get it working consistently soon 🤞🏻
how would you compare it to the black shark? in terms of fun and easiness of use flying solo?
I notice that even with similar weapons and with optics the flying is quite different, with not as much hovering.
I haven’t flown much of the black shark at all so I can’t really give a good comparison unfortunately. I do have the black shark module but I just didn’t ever really get into it. Maybe when they finish the revamp I’ll get into it too.
The Apache is a blast though especially the multi crew aspect 👌🏻
Well the thing about the KA50 is that there is very little effort from the pilot because the computer is essentially flying it for you most of the time with all of its hold modes. The apache in comparison feels like a manual sports car if you will, absolutely way more agile yet definitely not faster, with 16 missiles it is hard to beat the amount of destruction specially with George and his insane spotting abilities
@@Madnot4 will be interesting to see the Nerfs coming George’s way… he is god tier at spotting targets atm.

are you using VR? if so how do you get the zoom to work, can you use axis??

TrackIR for me mate, not sure how the zoom function works in VR sorry
Bound to a button not axis. Look under the UI Layer when setting up controls. There are two zooms, spyglass is a higher magnification than tracker. Under UI Layer these work as a toggle, if you search for "zoom" in the AH-64D Pilot/CPG, the commands work only whilst bound button is held.
Some people like to bind the left and right mouse clicks to the HOTAS too as a way to work switches in VR.

wish VR had axis bind, seems strange to have fixed button for the zoom/spyglass.
They need to fix the guns fragmentation.
Yeah the 30mm splash damage on infantry seems not as effective as it should be.

@@krusty1974 hahaha yeah he is a blast to fly with, we are both still very new to flying the Apache so the struggle was real trying to get some good crew coordination 😅😅
