When we see an ambulance passing through, we shouldn't just pull over & let it pass but we must pull over & pray for those who are going through the emergency situation. The ambulance is there for us all & we need to be there for it and praying works, it worked for me & for many giving out positive energy is what we need to do always or as much as possible.

The sirens and lightbar on that unit at 2:16 remind me of the HALL EMS units that serve the Bakersfield/Tehachapi area here in CA.

I miss the old Cadillac hi-tops and Lifeliners. Those Caddies rode like limos and were much more comfortable for the patients. Nowadays most ambulances are just glorified campers on rough-riding truck chassis. Bring back the Cadillacs!

There's really no way to enforce the laws unless the cops catch someone in the act.
Nice collection, But I must say the amount of money spent on these rigs & yet I see many lights out & not scyned... Kinda upsetting!!!
Try driving an ambulance, have the siren blasting , yeah the loud siren, and have people still not respond because they whether by age or birth cannot hear that well. And if you havent been able to tell by the video, sirens are not heard that well while driving. Using a siren on the interstate is almost pointless because it cannot be heard. Loud sirens are needed. Loud sirens save lives. That is all.

Dude quit complaining. It's a siren designed to be use on Emergency Vehicles. There are no restrictions designating whether the Fed Q can be used on an Ambulance or not. Palm Beach Gardens Florida has them on ALL their vehicles including Chiefs SUVs and other small rigs.
How do you do these videos? Do you get them online or do you physically shoot them yourself?
That's a pretty big ambulance. And most of the time the ambulance squads get funding from federal grants for their apparatus and equipment. I'm not sure about where the Q came from. Could have come from an old firetruck.

still though, it shouldn't be on there.......It's too big of a siren to be on there I think. Q's were DESIGNED for use on fire trucks, it says so right on Federals website.

EMTs use them, A non-transporting EMS vehicle can help emergency medical organizations use their resources more efficiently, assessing an incident's severity (especially where there is reason to suspect the injury or illness is not serious) and either treating the patient at the scene and then releasing them or calling in additional help if required.

Dont really see the point of having such a big ambulance with such a large container construction. While we have the same type of equipment in a smaller vehicle that truly stands out in its job. For 1 ambulance that drives in the US..we can let 3 drive here in germany.
Not that i dont like the us ambulances.. I know its two different nations with different standards for ambulances. But the biggest ones we use are with TIGIS bodywork, smaller than US trucks but more aerodynamic. Just saying.
still, I think its stupid to have such a LOUD siren on such a small vehicle like an SUV..........Okay MABEY I was wrong about ambulances, but having a huge loud siren on an SUV???!!! Come on guys.......... t(-_-t)

The sirens are good enough for an ambulance, the Q siren is a bit to much for such a small vehicle..........-__- so this is were all of the taxes are going???? Onto ambulances......Wow.......
