- this was something you guys...I was actually surprised by this elimination. I honestly am very sad for these girls...but at the end of the day, it's a competition and it is what it is...I also want you guys to give me video recommendations! what do u guys wanna see more of!? let me know in the comments! with this only being my second video, I'm still open to suggestions and what I could do better! I think many are forgetting that Manon has been sick a lot, and she's missed a lot of practice because of it. She got sick before the first mission, missed a lot of practice, and then got sick in Korea and missed some practices too. So I think the reason the girls didn't think she'd be a reliable team mate is on her just skill or tone, but because they might see her as a liability. If she's sick this much, what will they do if they debut with her and it happens later? What if she's sick again on debut day? What if she's sick for 4 concerts out of 8? These are all things to consider.
I hope Manon gets better and sees a doctor who can help her. I don't know what kind of sickness she's suffering from, but I hope she's able to be better and able to show her skills more.
I really don't think it's that Manon is a bad person or that she lacks skills. I think it's mostly just because she's been getting sick often. That's something to consider. So the people claiming "they're just jealous." and "they're mad cause they know she's better." I just think those are the people who are just backing Manon because they like what they do see and are not looking at it from all sides.
I do think Manon has talent and she seems like such a sweet person. But honestly.. I would be scared to gamble on how reliable she is as well. At least until she sees a doctor and gets it sorted out. I feel bad for Manon cause it's not her fault she's getting sick.
But I hate seeing others hate on the other girls for not choosing her, like... they have to consider and choose those that would be the best for a debut team. Manon as of right now, isn't ready. Doesn't mean she can't be, just means her health should come first and hopefully mission 3 she can make a stronger impact.
These are just my opinions. And this is one reason I wish these shows wouldn't allow fan voting to impact the group. It should be like - 'Make your predictions, who would you choose?''. But let the actual professionals choose the team/group. Again, this is just my personal take.
Girl thats not an excuse. Then if your not healthy ur not fit for kpop global group.
She had covid.. do you want her to spread it? A lot of them got sick and missed rehearsals. Are they not fit for the group either?@@inigorobles9984
I"m sure there is more to just being sick all the time or health issues. It's not "visual jealousy" claimed by fans either. There has to be something else that only the contestants themselves know that the viewers don't. It's a more technical thing I believe.
@@Min.miinn_ I don't remember covid being the confirmed sickness, but if it was, that's fine and all but she got sick again during second mission. That's why I said I feel bad for her cause it's not her fault. However because she's been sick so often, she's not as strong of a performer as others. So that can add to why the other girls didn't vote her to be in their ideal group.
Whatever happens in the end, I just know that even if she isn't chosen she's got skills, she just needs to hone in on them more. More time might be better for her. But we won't know till the time comes. She might be able to show major improvements in mission 3. Maybe seeing that no one chose her, and that most thought she'd be eliminated... maybe that lit the fire in her.
@@inigorobles9984 Well that's not entirely true. Look at Sunoo from ENHYPEN, he had heart issues, and was still not 100% when he took part in I-Land, but he rested when needed, and pushed himself. He got stronger and he made debut.
the contestants choose who they want based on skill set or consistency or how well they work together in a group setting.
I am not mad at the eliminated trainees. I feel like Brooklyns personality came of very fake and disingenuous and I think that came accross to the other trainees. I personally wasn’t a fan of her or Karlee’s vocal tone even though they can sing well. I lowkey thought she was going to make the lineup cause it seemed like they were prioritizing her in the beginning. My line up would be Sophia, Lara, nayoung, Megan and Daniela and Samara or Ezrela.

It’s unfortunate Karlee was sick but her vocals were the main reason Antifragile B sounded so shaky. Samara hard carried in the performance and voting.
Tbh I was surprised that Mei got eliminated..she was really UNDERRATED! She was in my final lineup but now it’s samara,Nayoung,Sophia,Lara,yoonchae and Daniela

MANY TRAINEES LABELED SOPHIA AS THE ACE OF DA... I THINK SHE JUST REALLY NEED A PERFECT SONG TO SHOWCASE HER VOCALS... I SAW HER TIKTOK VIDEOS AND THAT GIRL CAN BELT SO HIGH!!
I think the only one that surprised me was mei. The other 3 were unfortunatly low in ranking already from the first one so they didn't have the public support. I don't think any of them did bad but I think the votes was what made the decision in the end. Iliya was getting comments that she was more a solo singer then a group. Brooklyn didn't do bad but there seem to be almost a push for her which made people not like her plus her voice was just a bad match to the vibe of the song I think (from what others have been saying). Karlee I think is a great singer but she was sick during this which effected her performance which isn't her fault but it is what it is sadly. Mei I think did great but it might be that she just didn't stand out as much as others so she got less votes etc from that.

the first 9 invitations were for team winners who were safe from elimination. it's not by individual votes.

they have their own dynamics within the group and they interact with each other on a day-to-day basis, so their opinions speak a lot as to how others may be work-wise or how they put in their efforts, and skills. We just gotta trust the process I guess

I agree Ilya and karlee getting eliminated was a huge surprise mostly karlee. Also, the way everyone was so surprised when karlee was elongated rather than the other 3 speaks volumes yk

The way the girls voted was a shock for sure, but maybe there are things going on backstage that we don't know about it.

It’s obvious they just voted for their friends. Cause how Manon, Celeste and Nayoung that low? It’s giving they have their own cliques.
That’s a biased assumption cuz neither of those 3 truly stood out in Mission 2, although Nayoung did really well in Mission 1. And Samara was one of the last ones to join, like 2 months before while the others have been in the program for a year, so she isn’t as integrated within the bond of the group but she’s a frontrunner in their votes. The girls aren’t the ones being biased.
@@livieloubelle They are very biased against Manon. Notice Brooklyn and UA got 0 votes when contestants were asked who they want in their group yet when asked who they think will be eliminated they didn’t get nearly the same amount of votes as Manon. That is why ppl are saying they have something against her. If it was about the mission 2 performance like you claim Karlee, UA, and Brooklyn should’ve gotten more “elimination” votes from the other contestants.

I'm not guessing anything, im going based on what hybe asked for them to do, YOU are creating a whole new narrative that makes all 17 girls be the "mean childish"ones and the one you like be the "victim". just accept they wouldnt like her in the team and thats it. this has nothing to do with how much they like or hate each other. they'll said how much they love all the girls, but they HAD TO CHOOSE 5 (because ofc they would also put themselves in the group) out of 17 girls. its not that deep. manon is in almost every photo and video the girls post on their Instagrams
@@IDKAD just because they don't want them in the group doesn't necessarily mean they have a high chance of getting eliminated. they may be talented but lack a very important quality needed in a group, like chemistry for example. strong chemistry contributes to a well-balanced group performance. you can put 6 talented people in 1 group but if they don't have chemistry, it will be a group in disarray.

false. i believe manon is very talented in her own way PLUS the fact that she is black. she has charisma, the visuals, can sing very well, and can dance very well, did u mention she can also produce music? we need the representation and more poc to get out there more. also samara is good, both of them are amazing, my opinions…you’re not obligated to agree.
