The story of the Mega Men illustrates what happens when good people are led by evil people. Aeolus wants the world to be more intelligent and enlightened, Thetis wants to protect the natural environment, and Atlas wants to help humanity evolve to even higher levels of grandeur. All three have genuinely idealistic and good-natured visions. But Albert warped their visions and convinced them that genocide was the only way for them to accomplish their goals. So Aeolus became a pretentious narcissist, Thetis a misanthropic eco-terrorist, and Atlas a bloodthirsty social Darwinist. Since Capcom is clearly not gonna follow up on their secret ending, I have a headcanon that the Mega Men are able to clean up their act after Albert's death and strive to achieve their visions as peacefully as possible. Maybe they're able to become friends with Grey and Ashe as well.

Best character, best theme, also this probably sounds similar to Green Grass Gradation from the first game on purpose. The beginning of the stage looks like the forest area from the first ZX before it takes off into the sky.
Yeah, most of the stages in ZXA are the same stages from ZX, just 8 years later. This is the forest, the Scrapyard is Lurrere's stage, Queenbee's stage is Slither Inc.'s HQ, etc.
Megaman ZXA is a pretty good game, but most people might have gotten angry that X and Zero were not in this game (in their own bodies). I don't mind though. If there is one thing that really stands out in the game, if not the gameplay itself, is the kickass soundtracks it has.

Judging by the comments it seemed people prefer H model more. And I can see why. It has good mobility. And as we know, mobility is king in these platforming games.
It's totally possible that this area is in fact Area A. Hyleg Ourobockle's Corpse makes Area A also seem like the Forest of Dysis from Megaman Zero 2. If The Floating ruins really is the Forest of Dysis, that would be cool since you get to see the forest at 3 different points in time noticing the major changes.
word of advice for people who want to play this game Don't go to his stage until you beat Thetis also he looks like he's saying "bow down before me peasant"
Aeolus really isn't that bad, I fought him enough that I beat him no damage on expert mode pretty regularly. Thetis is pretty useful, especially with Grey so you have the ice dragon

Great job Zero/ZX collection is ported over on current generation and in digital format! So hard to find physical copies of these games nowadays! Whats even better is on Steam, its £25 and you get 6 games for that price, making each one £4.25 a game! That's a great bargain! Hopefully, they do a battle network collection next!

Great music, most frustrating stage ever. Nothing like timing a jump with great precision, flying through those trees and rocks, only to have a sudden wind change cause you to plumet to your death.
@granis1233 I've played the MegaMan Zero series. I assumed you were referring to Model H in ZX, not Harpuia. Honestly, I'm glad you can't fly indefinatly in ZX/ZXA, it'd make things way too easy. Unless they added a sky chase level or something :D
@PegasoltaEclair But then again, looking back at the Secret Ending & some research I did on the Mega Man Wiki, the outcome of the encounter between Model Z and the four Megamen being "disabled" by it is unknown. The implications of why they appear to be still alive & well at the end are still unclear. It makes sense to assume they're still alive & well, but it's still all just speculation now...since they don't have a third ZX game out (I'm not sure if they plan to, either)
