I don’t really like the Reload Heartful Cry because of the toned down guitars and stuff but other than that all of the new tracks for The Answer go ballistic
It's terrifying how far humanity can go in wanting to die so much, and seeing how those desires form what is for me one of the most intimate final bosses in the game.
Every SMT villain is like that, however. They can't truly die because of some aspect of humanity: -YHVH: as long as someone longs for a Supreme Being or for rules to be followed. -Lucifer: as long as humanity longs for freedom. -Nyarlatothep: as long as humanity is destructive. -Erebus: as long as someone wants to die. -Izanami: as long as humanity wants to be ignorant. -Yaldabaoth: as long as humanity desires for absolute order. -Shinado: as long as someone feels despair. -The White: as long as humanity despairs being prisoners of fate. -The Schwartzwelt: as long as humanity carelessly abuses nature.
... holy shit the chorus melody is the same as It's Going Down Now. P3R's battle theme was using this track's chorus the entire time and I'm only noticing now. That is so cool, what the fuck.
If that was intentional, then holy shit…. That is AMAZING! It shows that Makoto in this fight despite being dead, is watching over his friends as they fight against Erebus.
This sounds amazing!! I'm so glad! I've thought about this ever since I heard the original version of Darkness, but to me, Blooming Villain from P5 sounds really similar to this. I do like this track better though, it sounds a lot more intense than Blooming Villain imo.
They didn't fuck it up, thank the heavens. It sounds just as i remember it from my childhood. Great stuff, it sounds great It mostly retained the 2000s era edge that made it great
@@segafan1316 Mind you, Shoji Meguro still make this Reload arrangement. If you go to vgmdb or find it on RUclips Music, you can see Shoji Meguro Kanji Name written on the credits

GFDI why did they have to mess with all the drums/beats in these iconic songs. They're so toned down, I can't stand it. Other than the drums/beats being SO toned down, this song is fine, but they really took away all of the OOMPH the original track had, just like with Master of Tartatus.
Imagine hyperfixating on the DRUMS in order to dog on the new version when it's irrelevant to 90% of the people listening to it. Ya'll are making mountains out of anthills to get mad at it.
@@DoubleStrike-ye6tw GFY. The drums are actually important, as are every other aspect of the MUSIC. Do you even like music if you can't understand how completely nerfing one of the standout aspects of the OG tracks is weird and not good to some people? Besides, I said the song is fine minus the drums/beats being toned down. YOU'RE the one making a mountain out of anthills. You're also assuming I don't like the game and the soundtrack when I absolutely DO. I think it's a great remake and am very happy with it. The only complaints I have are what they did to the drums/beats in some of the songs, NOT ALL of the songs. You're irrelevant.
nah, but it's not bad tho, the mixing is kinda weaker though and the kick doesnt hit hard at all, it feels way emptier, the buildup/climax is also weaker
I'm convinced people have no clue what they're talking about at because the mixing is nearly exactly the same and the kick is a HARDER hitting kick, as heard by the distortion towards the end of it. People are just talking out their asses and using the exact same complaints for each song.

I love how ancient the beginning sounds and then - ELEC GUITAR
This was the only track that I was looking forward to hearing the remake of :D

This one goes so hard for a theme about a demon catdog
CatDog if it fused with the chocolate husk from Spongebob.
Just like Heartful Cry, I think I'll start listening to both versions of this 😎
Just beat this today. The intro of this song still has me so shocked like my jaw dropped when it started speeding up like that.
The opening Erebus (Reload) theme is insane! I like it
the beginning is so damn ominous, i love it

my complaint w this track is the same as for the entirety of p3 reload'a soundtrack - the guitar tone is decidedly less heavy than the original.
