Now that I know all the good work she did ruling her land and keeping former allies from the lords from rising up, I actually feel bad for what we do to her. I feel especially guilty about how I judged her based on her lustfulness alone. She deserved better than to be turned into a zombie or receive that painful dragged out end.
Five needed a slap capable of turning her face upside down. I say this without an ounce of hatred. She had amazing potential, and her heart was nowhere but the right place, but she needed to get dragged back from her world in the clouds. In all sincerity, the only sister I can genuinely dislike is Three. Three was a lost cause. Five wasn't. She wanted to do good, and to do her best, but nobody sincerely told her that she wasn't doing it.
The sad part is, as good as her intentions were, she wouldn't stay the same for long, Just like what happened to Four, the flower would take over and destroy everything.
Funny when I finish NieR Replicant and Automata, I tried Drakengard 3 thinking the ost will be the same(Drakengard 3 release after original NieR PS3). I got whiplash how the boss theme is rock. Despite the clunky gameplay, the music what kept me going.
There's this thing with Yoko Taro games where you start feeling incredible emotions just listening to the music even if you've never played the game. Off I go on the quest of getting this to work with Japanese voices on the English game.. wish me luck :D
