Amy, I did something wonderful this morning, I made a roast in my crockpot on high for 4 hours. It literally shredded apart and then I cooked onions and peppers ( took out my cheddar cheese from the freezer and buns) now I have mini Philly cheese sandwiches for a few days made with yummy roasted beef( which I got at my discount meat sale here in Michigan monthly) I feel like that’s something you would have done, made something out of nothing to stretch what I have.
It sounds exactly like something I would have done. Sounds yummy too
Thank you for your word of encouragement today!! I needed this word from the Lord. Been struggling these past couple of months. On one of the other days word, it has been a verse that I have had as my focus in my quiet time with the Lord. Psalms 119:105. Feeling like the Lord is using your encouragement as one of the tools to keep me going. Thank you Sweet Amy!! The joy of the Lord is evident in how you share and move through your days. P lant them 18 to 24 inches apart in a sunny, well-drained spot. Pepper plants need at least 6-8 hours of sunlight per day. Mix compost or other organic matter into the soil when planting. Got that from google 😅

Good morning Amy! I too use the 30 Gallon trash bags but Sams doesn’t sell 30 gallon but they do sell 33 gallon for a better price. I use to get the smaller boxes but it ends up being so much cheaper just getting a bigger liner. I hope you have a blessed day. I am a homeschool and SAHM of two kiddos with my third on the way (6 more weeks!) Your videos are a pick me up for me and I put them on while I clean the kitchen or fold laundry. I made spaghetti for Mothers Day. I hadn't had it in at least a year. My kids only like white/alfredo sauce, no red sauce. So for a treat I made spaghetti with red sauce, it was so good!! Have you thought about making your brown sugar. It's really easy and I always have on hand when needed. White Sugar and molasses
Amy, with your seasonal temperatures, you can fertilize and feed up your plants and they will produce for a long time. Give plenty of water and a bone meal feed. That will ensure less blossom end rot and nice tomatoes. I also give my tomatoes a cheap dollar store apple juice during the summer. A mixture of one gallon water to to 2 cups juice. Feed once a week. This makes a sweeter tomato and seems to reduce some of the acid in a tomato.

I don't grow much in pots except for Herbs. But in Florida you have two growing seasons. Spring and Fall. Depends on North or South Florida when you can start your growling season. I live on the north west side of central Florida now so my growing season over laps with early summer or early winter. Right now I have two kinds of green beans, three kinds of cucumbers, two kinds of green beans, two kinds of watermelon, three kinds of squash, two kinds of onions, bitter melon, bok choy, sweet potatoes, four kinds of radishes and I won't know how many kinds of tomatoes until I start seeing them ripping. I hope to be doing some canning this year. But I also like sharing with friends and neighbors. I forgot to add my Simanole pumpkins to the list. And of course I have several herbs. Keep up the great job with your garden.

Take a wet paper towel n start ur plant seeds in a plastic bag. Like we did in school. This will get ur seeds a head start especially since it’s so hot and dry
Start the bags inside -make a science experiment out of them. Then transfer the seedlings into your dirt-maybe into cups in your house to give them a head start because of the heat

We did this with the mango seeds...I will try with the kale if they don't sprout

I feel your seeds you planted need to be in the sun more to grow. All our tomatoes, peppers etc. get the sun fully in spring.
Because of Florida's heat, a couple of raised flower beds would be more successful for growing vegetables, than container gardening.

The other day I got some good news that shows me that God IS working for my good. Long story short I am in a nursing home and have been having to pay an insane amount every month to be here. But on Monday I got a letter saying that my amount is going WAY down. By over 800 dollars! And the amount I am allowed to keep for personal needs has gone from 103 dollars to over 900 now! I really needed that to be able to buy things like clothes and such they don't provide me.

Amy you have to feed your plants once a week while they are growing I use Miracle grow you get more fruit. and veg you must Warter them every day good luckxxx

It might help you to tell your phone to add items to your grocery list as you notice them. I have no idea how you can remember. My husband still requires a paper list, so I print it out and add the hand written items to the list. Just an idea, but perhaps you catch them when you edit!

There are different types of tomato plants. Look up determinate and indeterminate varieties.

Hi you’ve got to water your pots first thing in the morning and soak them really well. It’s best to have pots in trays so they can drain and then suck up the water from the trays throughout the day. Then water them again at night time and soak them well. N ver water the leaves when the suns on the plants and don’t keep moving them around. Find the right spot and keep them in it. It will tell you on the packets which spot they like to get full sun some shade ect. We moved to Australia and it took us a while to get used to planting at different times of the year from the uk which I grew up in. Good luck. X

Hi Amy. I would think that the growing season of your tomatoes would depend on the type of tomatoes you have. Indeterminate type tomato plants grow for a season producing tomatoes. Determinate type tomato plants only produce a certain amount of tomatoes.

Look into greenstalk garden towers! They are on rollers and would work great for what your doing with gardening. And keeps plants off hot rock.
I like to mash my strawberries to make a syrup for short cake as well..then the juice soaked into the cake!

I can't say it every feels normal...it hit me at different times this year..where i wanted to call Grandma and tell her something and realized I can't...or that she won't see us here...moments...I have learned to take one day a time ..sometimes one moment at a time is all i could do

Amy loved the bathing suits. You need the first two and the strapless purple would look great on you especially with that tan.
