This stunning footage has been on RUclips for many years yet no one in the Journey community really found it. Footage like this is rare to come by, especially of Journey. Not only is this the 3rd ever audience film/video of Journey but it also comes from one of their least videoed tours, the Evolution tour.
I synced this audio to Journeys concert concert in Passaic just about a week after this show took place. There is a lot of cuts in the video due to the limitations of using film. Most of the sync is accurate, the only inaccuracies are some of the guitar parts due to Neal doing improvisation.
Footage includes:
Majestic
La Do Da
Next
Feeling That Way
Anytime
Lights
Kohoutek
Winds of March
She Makes Me (Feel Alright)
Film shot by Dave Gullberg.

This is amazing! Watching this makes me curious and somewhat disappointed about how much Journey content from the 70s and 80s is still being kept from us.
Oh it’s out there you just have to look for it, I seen all these and many more just scrolling from 1song to another. The trick in most cases is not to skip any songs because you never know just which one will turn up next.🇦🇺😘
This is like walking barefoot on the beach and stepping on a solid gold piece. Just a piece, not the whole treasure box, but still, solid gold.
The journey Man legend perry forever The Golden voice oregenality absolutely amazing man ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I saw Journey on this very tour on June 20th, 1979 in Ft. Worth Texas. AC/DC and England Dan Andy John Ford Coley were their opening acts. A concert that l will never forget. Tickets were only 7.00 $.
Best lineup. Best songs. The Golden Years!
Chase, you never let us down thank you ☺️

Great job. Editing the audio as flawless as you did isn't easy.
More cowbell, Steve!! Thank you Chase. I love this!!!
Awesome footage, wish we could see full concerts that went into Captured, especially Feeling That Way and Anytime

This made my day! thank you Chase!
AHHHH this is so fucking cool! Finally, something I haven’t seen before!
Congratulations on reaching 10,000 subscribers.
thank you, it was unexpected to reach that milestone!
Thanks for this👍🎶❤
Awesome Chance!
It's funny how me and my friend were listening to journey in class and quietly singing the songs
Good job!
Neal Musi Schon was tapping there ! 💥🔥
I wish there was a hole 1986 show with both the audio and video
we will always hope for that, I'm going to upload a full 1986 video compilation in like 2 hours, check it out, it has every possible footage from the raised on radio tour
Steve perry is just ausome image if he was still with journey today
No one compares to Steve Perry!!!!
Now the question is, did someone sneak their tape recorder in the venue and recorded the whole show
One could wish
Highly doubtful. Tapes could only record a few minutes before needing to be changed.
Wrong date: Journey was at Bill Graham's "Day On the Green #2 1979" on July 4th 1979, along with The J. Geils Band, UFO, Thin Lizzy, Nazareth, and The Rockets.
It says June 4th not July
😍so fun🎶❤️🔥🎶🤙=^..^=
how do we get the full film ?
this is all there is
