This 2023-24 new Overtime Rule was not something we expected to hear about, for the first time, during overtime in the Superbowl. This, each team gets to possess the ball before the first team that scores in overtime's scoring is counted, seems like a rule from an alien planet. Where was the failure in communication here? Has Sports Talk Media become too exclusive for a sport the public puts so much faith and money into?
New or old rules the Chiefs would've still had a chance lol and everyone knew about this rule.
