This is amazing. The blending of small and large grid, the clever use of subgrids, and the simple but effective ideas for how it can change to suit what it holds, all of it is great. Good to see you back.
The elevator, and all those hinged tools... terrify me. That's just begging for a weird-ass Clang event, and suddenly the whole hangar's somehow detached itself and ended up on Mars.
This hangar is perfect for mech enthusiasts, gives you that sonic adventure feel when seeing this! I mean it Serves literally no practical use other than to store vehicles. Is it cool? *Absolutely it is cool!*
Man, would love a tutorial on how to put together that elevator. Do you just start with one attached rotor/piston, and retract the other two pistons so that their rotors are over the next set of sockets? Their timing is so clean, too!
Awesome work as always man, really digging that elevator design. Pretty much unrelated, but have you ever considered making Gypsy Danger from the first Pacific Rim? I feel like the whole thing where the head drops down onto the body in the hangar when it's powering up would be something right up your alley, with all the crazy piston/rotor contraptions you regularly manage to pull off.
I do love that movie but for large projects I’d rather put my time into making something like a zoid rather than a what is essentially a big human. Thanks for the comment
@@BlackArmor718 Ah, that's fair! You make a good point. Might be something I'll try and take a crack at some day, if I can find the time to pick up this game again... Looking forward to seeing your future projects.
obviously the functioning aspects of what you do are impressive and unique, but it seems you don't receive many compliments regarding the aesthetic design of things like your floor, the details in the walls, the lighting and coloring, shapes of stuff etc. it's very impressive and what i struggle with the most. the perceivable blend of your 'right' and 'left' hemispheres is uncommon.
ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my god ! Please make a tiny tutorial on that elevator ! If u don't I'll have to pass an other 100 hours searching a way to reproduce...
Its basically cut and paste. Just use the same piston and timer setting. I believe all the timers I used are build into the actual elevator as well except precise timer+script. The script is not absolutely necessary but it makes it smoother
@@BlackArmor718 Oh yes, I run into that issue with every single blueprint I intend to share. Luckily there is a workaround for it, do you know about it?
@@BlackArmor718 The 'Failed to upload blueprint' bug is caused by the thumbnail being larger than 1 MB. Thanks for your patience, it's on the workshop now: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2459004853
that elevator is the most clever thing i have seen in a while!
Simple and reliable
u should do a tutorial for that design bud... it is very impressive.
You mustve sacrificed your first born to Klang because half the time, all those moving parts would explode.
Wow... the detail on this thing is so incredible.
This is amazing. The blending of small and large grid, the clever use of subgrids, and the simple but effective ideas for how it can change to suit what it holds, all of it is great. Good to see you back.
Hey man thanks! The new collisions allow perfect placement of small grid on large now, and it's what I've always wanted.
That elevator.....love your builds awesome stuff once again.
Thank you!
That elevator is a masterpiece, cracking job!
Brilliant job as usual bud. Seriously though, that elevator is amazing. Great job 👍
Thanks John

Man, would love a tutorial on how to put together that elevator. Do you just start with one attached rotor/piston, and retract the other two pistons so that their rotors are over the next set of sockets? Their timing is so clean, too!
Essentially yes. If you set up the sockets every 3 blocks then you just have to play with pistons speed and timers delays until they sync.
Gonna have to borrow that piston rotor rail system! awesome work!
I was wondering with what you would come up next...
I LOVE the elevator! Brilliant!
That elevator is super neat!
😍 That is amazing! That elevator system, WOW. Great stuff.
Appreciate it, was a fun puzzle to work through
The elevator is a work of genius. The mechbay is a delight. And...is that...2:10 IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS??
That's a Raynos :)
Always happy to see your content, this hangar is amazing
Appreciate it!
What! That lift is awesome
Thanks bud
Dude long time no vid. U make the best shit in SE dude hands down. I can make mechs now thx to you brother 👍🏻
Good to hear it Skarson!
I can only dream of a small ship gone wild using that elevator
I love it
Woaw amazing and i love the Zoids Raynos! Really nice build!
Raynos still one of my favorites, thanks!
Dude that is sooooo dope!
Dude, you always make the coolest shit. Thank's for displaying it for us to enjoy!
No problem Mike
I know you're probably going to say no, but some of us mod.io creators would love to have one of these!
Ill see since now it's an option in game to publish on mod.io. The elevator uses the timer script I like to implement though
@@BlackArmor718 that's completely fine looks alone it's great
@@welch9o42 Here ya go spaceengineers.mod.io/display-hangar
Great build, man. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Luigi
I can't imagine the time put into this!
Time enjoyed goes by fast
Oh that's real nice, and it gives me an idea.
That's what I like to hear!
As usual you make me want to add a extension to my base
i was gonna say reminds me of the repair hangers in mechwarrior and behold there be one... :-) sweet
Just wow this is amazing all the Nice details pure masterpiece and now i got a better look at the stripes lol 👌🏻

Reminds me of a model set i had as a kid. I think it was a Robotech/BattleTech repair bay. And came with an Excalibur/Warhammer mecha.
cool elevator ;)
Pls explain the hazard lines on the ground. I think you used projectors for that?
The outer sections of the pad are small grid. Those are alternating yellow triangle blocks and windows
The elevator is nioce.
Megapog good job
I'd like to see a tutorial on that elevator. That is amazing.
You can copy the piston settings and timer delays. Work with or without a timer script, but the script makes it better
Nice.
Noice
i love the elevator. must do a tutorial on it!!!
Possibly..
@@BlackArmor718 i tried to replicate it i almost got it to work but i couldnt get the timing completely good. so its clanged out hah
@@AceOfSpadezSince92 If the timing is the problem then adjust the piston speed because that can be controlled more precisely
How do i like something twice?
how did u get small blocks on large ones without rotor??
I used a rotor
holy cow
manooooo top so isso
Shit this thing is gorgeous!
Can I use this for taking few screenshot s or artwork?
That is it's purpose
Like action base for gunpla builders
Time for a Battletech/Mechwarrior mechinima
Have you tested these in an mp environment? How stable is that piston lift?
I watched my friend operate it just fine
nice
I saw many of your videos and each time the one quation is rised up: all this walking mechs, is it functional or just deco?
