An alternative cover for Inferno #3 shows Moira looking like a sentinel. My theory is that this version of Moira is actually inhabited by a sentinel machine consciousness from Omega's dark future. It was sent back through time and space to inhabit Moira's body and mind to destroy mutants, but somehow got corrupted and actually believes it is Moira. Instead of destroy all mutants, its directives were aligned toward mutant survival at all costs. This was firmly cemented in Moira's 3rd lifetime, where Destiny killed her brutally to make sure she was serving mutant kind. In Moira's 10th life, mutants win...with the help of a machine AI that can actually keep running algorithms across lifetimes in order to find out how to achieve this. Moira is like a command loop. Remember Sinister's Secret #51 (I think) "Wear a mask long enough, it starts wearing you". We all assumed this was about Mystique and her machinations, but what if it was about Moira, or rather...an evil AI that malfunctioned and thinks its actually Moira, that has the ability to travel through different Black Holes into other timelines (lives)? Dying, just means going through another wormhole and rebooting in a new timeline/lifetime. And in Terminator 2 fashion...Omega Sentinel is the robot sent back in time to counter the malfunctioned Moira consciousness. It's like cat and mouse with one machine consciousness helping mutants, and one trying to destroy them.

All other factors like the Children of the Vault and Arrako were already accounted for and makes it seem like they’ve won by cheat. Then again…Doug must’ve been able to spy on Moira, Charles and Erik the first time around in Life 10-A. So we can probably assume that based on Krakoa’s success that he didn’t act too drastically with the info he had, or he acted in ways that didn’t interfere with Krakoa’s growth. By cause and effect, Omega Sentinel created circumstances that weren’t present in Life 10-A thanks to ORCHIS’ founding and early plans for Nimrod resulting in Mystique requesting Destiny’s resurrection earlier as a result. Charles, Erik, and Moira having to troubleshoot problems they didn’t have the first time around may be new information for Doug-Warlock-Krakoa. This comic was a cop out.
i don't mind if the mutants lose and krakoa falls, but if they go back to living in a mansion in new york, i'll be done with x-men forever.
it's bad enough they're still pushing all this sjw nonsense, and that they watered down what qualifies a mutant as omega, but if they just go back to square one, that will be the final straw for me.
i think Krakoa is a concept worth of ten years of storyline
but you how Marvel and its writers are
with a single issue, you can destroy the brilliance of a whole era
let's hope not
@@wintherr3527 i'm still traumatized from when they were trying to replace the x-men with the inhumans.
Just me or did people have to come here to try an understand everything?
So X-Men continues on its crap journey. Going with the copycat marvel multi verse storyline. How creative.
I'm so fucking confused after this issue. They lost me at "the mutants always win" somebody help me.
