When I saw them at Nottingham a few days later completely different setlist and they didn't play it, but I saw the original Bungle on their last show, so I happy. :)

Five virtuosos in one band!!! I'm an old school Bungle head. This is like Christmas, Birthday, losing my virginity and of course Easter, all rolled into perfection. I got to meet Trey Spruance in Hamilton when he played there with Faxed Head. Awesome dude, super humble. His stage persona that night was "Neckhead." He wore a 3 foot tall rubber mask that was just a neck with hair on top. No opening to see or even breathe for that matter. They played for 90 minutes straight. Mistake free and totally fucking awesome. He took the "neck" off after the show and was soaked with sweat and looking purple from the heat. That's the commitment he had to putting on a great show for less than a hundred people. Watch out world! Mr. Bungle is fucking back!!!
I saw them in Sacramento. I took the bus from Portland. They almost cancelled because no one was there but then decided to play because someone showed up. Funny thing is i barely remember any of the music aside from fifth head's noise makers

I saw them on this tour. You could tell the Bungle fans in the pit, because they knew when the heavy parts were coming. Many an unsuspecting teenager got used as a ballistic missile that night.
If you want to here Patton's best scream, listen to "Carry Stress in Jaw" from the album Disco Volante. At the 3:13 mark he does an 18 second scream that sounds like he's suffocating by the end of it. Fucking incredible!

I still feel like I am dreaming. I have been waiting years for a new Mr. Bungle album. And the new album drops in just over a week. I have been a fan since the original untitled album came out in the 90's. The world needs Mr. Bungle music. And the entire catalog of studio albums need to be remastered and re-released.
The mastering on Self-titled and California is already as good as it gets and Disco Volante has an intentionally weird mastering. I say forget re-releasing old stuff, they should release more stuff in the vein of their old stuff.

In these situations a remaster can make the audio stand out. One example recently would be Anthrax's State of Euphoria. If you listen to both the original and the 30th Anniversary on a newer sound system from the past few years. The volume level and quality is improved significantly.

Last night I dreamed I was watching a Mr. Bungle concert in a school gym. Dave Lombardo throw his whole drum kit at me. It didn't hurt but I was stucked at the ground for like 30 seconds numb in the dark. Then I got up throwing the drum kit away from me and... there was happening any concert. It was just an empty court. I went back home and my family were SO worried, I was missing for like two months and nobody had a clue about me. Was that dream a weird premonition about today's release?
