Roger is a good man...a hero in a big way. The boys that he saved are so fortunate to have a mature guy who realized that if he didn't sacrifice himself,that they'd all die.
Rogers sacrifice brings to mind a bible scripture ...Greater love hath no man than he lay down his life for his friends. What a hero you were Roger , this story brings many a tear to my eyes.

once you experience near death, you will cherish life differently. i had a chance to interview a survivor for my class project. he was very emotional talking about what went thru his mind..

I experienced near death when k was four only thing is I don’t remember it so yeah I cherish life but not sure if anymore than the next person

Roger was really sweet. The whole time i was thinking did he make it? I felt sad he died😢
His heroicactions what man what a guy. Laying down his life for his friends.
It’s crazy that for awhile boat builders have shown they can build fin keel and long keel encapsulated into the hull and still bolt on keel is still being built
