What is brilliant about Omid is he could get a room full of different religions and cultures who normally hate each other, to laugh and laugh aloud about the silliness of their hate and ways.

The pen thing was one of the only regal things I felt any sympathy for him with. Sure, I sympathised about the loss of his mother.
But, he had to sign loads of documents that actually had her signature on them, as the mark that he had now taken the throne. Line of lineage stuff. So, under his mothers signature was going to be his name. Having that part of it being smudged or smeared would be somewhat upsetting... I mean, for example, you wouldnt want ink all over your marriage certificate, would you?

The Monarchy should never meddle in politics, always neutral, it would cause mass division, the Queen knew this, you leave that business to presidents, PMs, and governments, if King Charles becoming king has common sense he will know this .

Having fresh vegetables transported daily from Highgrove to Balmoral doesn’t seem to be very environmentally friendly.
The Queen was the least stuck up, pompous person of all the royals.
I think her rural upbringing gave her an understanding of nature and reality, and witnessing her country go to war and very nearly get invaded as a child probably made her realise that this country, and its people are worth standing for.
