I am so far from Armenia culturally and religiously (American Buddhist here lol), but you are making it so much fun to learn about. Subbed!
Thank you for your support :)
Armenias religion is Christianity what are you babbling about
They were closely related to the Sakya clan both genealogically & in terms of spiritual culture and customs.
Latino here and it's amazing learning Armenian history. You have really good content!
Thank you for your support ❤️
That was great! And the references on point as usual!
Thank you Akrav jan :)
Amazing video!!! I loved it! Are there sources anywhere?
The pre Urartian one is from a book I’ll get the name, however it’s in Armenian. Rest is obtainable online
Thank you for this video (and your whole channel)! I've been interested in learning more about Armenian heritage, culture, language, etc. for the longest time but didn't know where to start and this channel is a godsend.
Thank you so much for your support ❤️
This is not where you start . This is Turkish propaganda . Study vahan setyan work . Turks a falsifying Armenian history .
Dude you deserve way more subs and views i'm here to support
Thank you so much 😊
Great video! Found your channel by complete (nice) accident. I really love to learn about mythologies around the world. Armenian pre Christian religion and mythology is so little known. I wonder how many of former believes still exist in Armenian folklore and/or culture/popculture.
Thank you so much for supporting.
There will be a video about that too, I couldn’t fit everything in this one unfortunately. There’s a lot, at least in phrases that come from old religious beliefs.
I have been looking for information on Urartu culture and religion for so long! That ancient civilization is so rarely discussed it’s difficult to find source on it. Definitely subbing! Thank you for this content.
Thank you for your support ❤️
Thank you for the video! It was so informative, I have been wanting to learn more about pre-christian Armenia but the information all felt so overwhelming and the video helped me better understand it!
Thank you for watching,
I will be posting more about mythology later on. There’s a lot more info that I didn’t get the chance cover.
Perfect job! Very pleasant voice😊 waiting for the next video))
Thank you 😊
Both entertaining and actually informative. Loved it
Now I know where my love of fire and trees come from XD
Haha thank you
Awesome video. Looking forward to the videos covering more mythology and legends. And Praise the Sun!
Thank you 😊
I had no clue armenian mythology was this big, continue on and keep making these informative videos, your doing a great job
Thank you so much.

Thank you so much 😊
More videos are on the way.
Great video! Hope you get more subscribers 👍
Thank you 😊
That was great make another episode 😍
Thank you for watching. Idk if the next one will be mythology but definitely in the future :)
More about the mythical creatures, please!
I love these jokes and memes in your videos, especially at 5:41
All information is easy to hear and editing of videos are also good.
By the way, Hello from Armenian from Western Siberia 8)
Subscribed.
Thank you so much 😊
really cool video, you deserve more subscribers for sure!
Thank you :)
Great video!!! Curious about the animal worship and really all pre Christian Armenian beliefs
That was great!
I like your vids
Thank you 😊
i was waiting for this video so long thank you my brother long live the people of AR ARMENIANS
Interesting!
Great video mate, I'm subscribed 👍 Quick question: your first 3 videos are about Armenia 🇦🇲 ❤, is that as part of a series, or will you be focusing on Armenia specifically?
Hello. Thank you for subbing :)
Great question, although I have focused the first couple of vids on Armenia, I’m planing to cover about everyone and everything in no particular order, so if you got suggestions for a topic feel free to write it :)
Great video what i would like to add is. The Iranian influence on Armenian pagan gods were entirely linguistic, the Armenian gods were completely different than Iranian Zoroastrian gods.
Wonderfull video!
Thank you
@@imperatorarmenator In my family we were mostly taught about the araleses and our worship of fire but I didnt know that we were able to preserve this much of our ancient culture. Thank you for making this available info for so many diasporan Armenians.
Thank you for your support.
There’s a lot more I couldn’t fit in this video. I’ll do more mythology videos in the future and cover them, I’m learning new stuff as we go too haha
Nice.
Good shit!
Always glad to find another channel which dabbles in mythology and doesn’t bore me to tears. Well done sir, you’ve earned a sub.
Thank you so much 😊
Cheers. I did the same!
When will you make a video or several videos about the History and Evolution of the Armenian Language?
Also the many Characters of Armenian Mythology both Human and Deity alike? Here’s one suggestion: Ara the Beautiful & Semiramis (she’s mentioned in many Legends in neighboring Ancient Cultures and Greek legends)
I’ll have to do more research on that before I can make it but definitely some day I will cover the language too.
That’s a good suggestion. Yeah she’s popular in Armenian legends/myths too.
Yeah there are both human and some other stuff but I don’t want to spoil much since there will definitely be more videos about that since it’s getting far more attention than I was expecting (which is awesome).
Thank you for taking the time to give your insight :)
@@imperatorarmenator
I said what I have said to you because I am reading 📖 and learning more about the interconnectedness of Humanity Ancient or Modern like the “World Tree” and it’s variations across Ancient Cultures from Indo-European to Austronesian or the “Swastika” with its historical benevolent symbolism with many variations all over the world that was later tainted by the Nazis (in the European half that is)
Maybe you can start with Characteristics of Armenian Language or Concepts that only exists in the Armenian Language?
I’ll admit that I first heard of Semiramis in the Fate Franchise (Fate/Apocrypha), afterwards I have read some legends connected to her like the one mentioned with Ara and her infamy for her excesses in Assyria when she was it’s Queen
Of course it would be up to you on how will you show them in your future videos through your own style of storytelling
I’ll see what I can do :)
This is a great video. I just have one question, can you tell me about the Goddess Astghik please?
Thank you. Yes she was goddess of fertility and love and later goddess of maidenly beauty, and water sources and springs. I’ll do more videos later with a bit more details, there are a lot of information I couldn’t fit in this one.
@@imperatorarmenator thank you! Cant wait to see more videos.
Thank you for your support ❤️
As a Lebanese Armenian, I didn't know that we had a past mythological-cultural history, even thought I learned about them in school, becase these kind of topics are rarely discussed, also praise the Ancestors...
Can’t wait to hear the legend with the flying healing dogs!
Can you include your sources in the description or end of the video? I'd like to learn more, but I don't see where I should go
Hello, for the pre Urartian beliefs I used a book called “Պարգև Բարսեղյան- Վաղ Հավատալիքներն ու Դիցաբանությունը Հայաստամում” I don’t know if it has English version. The however rest is obtainable online.
The video was amazing! Love the style as usual! :)
Praise be the sun! xD
For absolutely no reason whatsoever... what's a good source to look up further information/images on Armenian Mythological creatures?
Thank you 😊
I have a book for it but it’s in Armenian. I’ll see if there are any good links for English sources :)
Ընտիրություն
Id like to see the source of this lol 0:54, want to read more into it 😂
It’s a book on ancient Armenian mythology I got from Armenia haha
I’ll try to dig up from the pile
such a shame that people with such an interesting culture are reduced for begging for money at Bus stations at 5:40 in the morning.
I wanna see more info about dev
There will be a mythology video coming soon 🤫
Davit 💀⚡️
Great video!! I'll probably convert to sun worshiper now
Lmao we have to find a priest 😂.
Thank you for watching
THANK YOU for doing something google couldn´t. I hope both sides of your pillow is cold
Thank you for watching.
I have more on mythology which I’ll do later on.
May your pillow be cool on both sides as well 🍻
I like Pre christian religion of Armenia. But these religions are not logical and like the hetanists who just worship IE gods. But either way great vid aper.
Thank you
Hayk probably comes from haldi. If you look up pictures of haldi not the statue you can see him with a arrow hayk is also a warrior.
It’s a possibility yes
Do you still follow our religion?
The audio is gone. 😭
UPDATE: I was able to the audio opening in the browser (not app). Great video!!! Loved it!
@RandomRyter thank you for watching.
Not sure why it didn’t work in the app. I checked it from my end audio seemed fine.
4:40 Come on, man! Are you making a video about smth u know almost nothinflg about? Tir is not Anubis. It is Thoth, the God of wisdom, scrips, magic and the only, who was born a human but became a god during his life. The messenger of gods and the taker of souls to the underworld.
People still use an old expression: "let the (!) Writer take u" or "go into the tzots (area very close to, at the body of a person and/or inside their beds) of the Writer".
(URARTU). ARARAT ARATA HAYASA HURIAN. ARMENIA URARTU 5 000 years
We should revive everything we can about our mythology. It's our true culture. Christianity is Jewesh culture, why we should mix our culture if we have our own. I know chriatianity now very popular in Armenia, but it is 21 century, we need to look at the history and realize that our culture has been destroyed. Turks, persians, soviets they all tried to mix our own culture with some bullshit, time to get back to our own national culture
