@@JustButton Fishmen already has inbuilt 10x strength. Jinbe is absurdly strong, look what Hody did when he just squeezed on a wall, the whole thing cracked and crumbled, and Hody wasn't even on his steroids, and Hody is a weakling.
Jinbe applying Judo (Gentle Way/Use Opponents Strength) to beat Burgees will be legendary.
Plus, both of them are helmsman.

I feel like those fruit powers are given to the BB pirates by Oda with specific matchups with the Straw Hats in mind. It's about the ideas of the writer first and foremost for the final battle.

Nah. I think Blackbeard pirates vs Strawhat pirates will not be the final battle... They will have a battle similar and as symbolic as God Valley was, but final Battle is WG and Imu. I was expecting Blackbeard to be more of a menance and his crew aswell. But Boa did one shot two of his commanders, Blackbeard refused to fight Rayleigh and Law and Heart Pirates are actually looking very good against Blackbeard and his crew on chapter 1064. Yeah, the Heart Pirates who only have one Supernova and strong fighter (Law). Also, them not getting broken logias its a sure indicator they kinda failed on that mission. Kuzan is there, but even than its questionable if he is truly a pirate or just being a SWORD agent
The simplicity of the new BB crew fruits makes me think they were decided a long time ago.

They going rely on their fruit more than haki even with their new devil fruit they not going put much effort with haki. And post time skip haki is very heavily use a lot in combat
@@laquanlucas6953 We have not seen their haki mastery yet, but it doesn't make them weak. Haki is good, but it's not everything in a fight. Kid, King, Queen, Marco, Jimbei, Law, and Sanji all use basic haki, but it doesn't mean that they're weak.

When burgee use that lariat on sabo why he didn't conjure that with armament haki when he know that sabo is logia user you need haki touch element type user. That was his mistake in the past before he gotten his fruit, i want see what teach crew will do

Its usually fine for a couple of people in a pirate crew to have fruit abilities, because if they ever fall into water, non users can jump in the save them. Now all of blackbeards crew having devil fruits kinds feels like carrying all your eggs in one basket. Or in this case i suppose it would be devil fruit users on a pirate ship instead. This fact may or may not be future plot relevant, who knows.
They do have San Juan Wolf who can kinda just scoop em out of the water
I've thought about this a lot actually. The potential for them to be fleeing on a ship and it just goes under. Blackbeard leaves them to die because he's more concerned with saving his own skin.
The BB pirates have lots of scrub crew members. Each of the 10 Titanic Captains has people under them to save them if they fall in water.

With regards to Burgess, my first thought was that his match up would be Jinbei. Raw strength versus Jinbei's mastery of fishman karate and the redirection of force. Frankie is a matchup I hadn't thought about and love.
I think Franky is getting Sanjuan Wolf. Think about it, giant robot versus giant...well, giant. It would literally be the kaiju battle of One Piece, and given Franky's at Egghead Island, I feel like he's gonna get himself a mega upgrade. Also, Franky Shogun kinda got wrecked hard during the Sasaki fight, so he kinda needs to get that fixed, so why not upgrade it in the process thanks to Vegapunk? XD
Burgess, Shiryu, and Van Augur seem to be the most shown. I would bet that Shiryu vs. Zoro, Burgess vs. Sanji, and Van Augur vs. Usopp if they go the traditional 1v1 route.
I really hope if we get an Usopp vs Van Augur it will dive into Usopps observation haki and finally give him a really good reason to improve his haki either before or during the fight

I think Black beard is building a team of powers for a certain job, because they are all pretty simple fruits that do like 1 thing, Strong fruit (makes you strong), Warp fruit (warps people), Disease fruit (makes you sick and changes gender (this one isn't as simple)), the invisibility fruit (which makes you invisible), and the zoan which albeit is not simple but its main power is to disguise you. All these fruits kind of fit into espionage and distractions. He is planning something very specific I think, because there are probably fruits still out there that could make them more powerful or op even if they had to kill people for them, like Logias, or mythical zoans. Idk what but I feel like he may be planning to break into mariejois to take that secret that Doffy talked about, whether its the straw hat, an ancient weapon, a certain devil fruit, or maybe something to do with Rocks. On their own I don't feel like their fruits are very threatening except maybe Doc's or Devon's, so maybe theyre planning for something.

There are a few potential abilities Stronger could have alongside the ability to fly such as thunder and lightning powers (the Pegasus was said to carry Zeus' thunder and lightning for him) and the ability to create fresh water springs at will (the Pegasus could make water spout endlessly from the earth just by stamping its hoof on the desired location). I'm curious to see which ones Oda decides to incorporate into Stronger's moveset.

Oh and btw, Stronger isn't dead. According to the translation I read, the specific ability Law used on Stronger was "amputate". We have seen him use that ability plenty of times.
It doesn't actually damage the victim, it merely separates their body parts, harmlessly. This is the exact same ability he used on Vergo as well as the marines at Sabaody Archipelago.
The new yonko crews are interesting. Previous yonko crews were three big powerhouses (kaido, bigmom, whitebeard) with commanders who weren't admiral level commanders. Luffy has a similar crew.
But the other two new yonkos. Buggy and Blackbeard have commanders that are easily admiral level, while their yonkos aren't themselves powerhouse. Shanks is unique. He himself is a powerhouse, but his crew is also admiral level. We haven't seen something like that since the days of xebec.
Buggy has a commander on admiral level(mihawk) but I don’t think BB does, admiral level is the same as yonkou level in my opinion or very close

@@owais1444 I read the new manga chapter last night. Given the new stuff, this crew easily can get to admiral level. Plus Blackbeard also has aokiji, an ex admiral himself.
Plus, given the new material, (movie, manga etc) admirals and yonkos used to be on parr during garp's time. But today, the gap between admirals and yonkos are huge.

Maybe Doc Q's limitations are similar to Queen where the disease spreads to friend or foe alike, what just bogles my mind with that is if haki can just nullify devilfruit caused disease and how are they different then to normal illnesses
I also love the idea of usopp needing to train his observation haki to a level which allows him to shoot someone not only just barely in reach but not even knowing the place to be in too
But I for one loved to see how extraordinarily fast he learns to adapt his haki (film red)

Woth the warp warp fruit, i reckon its limit is that you can only warp things/beings that are close to you to a far distance to what you can see. As well as you can’t warp them into buildings as you can’t see the inside (unless through a window). Maybe its awakened power allows to warp the user, which indeed would make them a difficult opponent as they will just keep moving around, making a tricky target for Usopp
The other terrifying thing about the warp warp fruit from a sniping perspective is just how much farther it can potentially increase their range. Bullets naturally lose force, speed, and height the longer they have to travel, so imagine how insanely far you could send a sniper round by teleporting a freshly fired bullet near it's target. It also allows you to turn basically any round you fire into a point blank head shot.
I expect something lightning related from Strongers df, as Pegasus is the carrier of Zeus lighting bolts in the myths.
The very fabric of that pega-horse scares me
I would love to see Franky v Burgess.. I loved the reference to Don Krieg too lol. That's part of why I love these vids, being reminded of Don Krieg while thinking about current place in story, gives a nice dose of nostalgia to go w the analysis, love it. I kind of feel like Sanji v Burgess feels like it may make the most sense tho, both fight hand to hand or hand to foot, both have some enhancements. Sanji doesn't have df but Burgess doesn't have Germa tech.. and Sanji may still be part Lunarian, who knows.. Awesome vid as always
Pegasus fruit is perfect combo for Doc Q because one of the powers of Pegasus is to stomp it's hoof to make a pool of water, that could inspire artists

I think that Van Augur having a teleport fruit sets up Usopp to develop future sight as a hard counter to it. He would be able to dodge teleported bullets and aim where Van Augur teleports to

I mean it’d be impressive, but a brawler really would get maximum use out of it. Sanji or Jinbei would probably benefit more from that fruit than Zoro.

I dont think the warp warp fruit outclasses the ope ope fruit. The main focus of laws powers is medical procedures, the swapping, teleporting and reattaching is just a part ofthe fruits power. The man can literally use radioactive techniques we use to combat cancer.
I assume Van Augur can teleport long distances, but needs to be able to see where he is teleporting to, whereas law "feels" where he can go and what he can do with his room. Augur also needs to be either close to the thing he teleports or touch them, thats what I believe at least.
If he's that strong, technically he could just grab someone and rip them apart, or crush their hands, legs, head

The setup for chopper fighting DOC and Stronger is even better than you think. Chopper is the only one being able to talk to animals. We do have an animal here, which even has a devil fruit. Might become one of the coolest fights of the series - cause stronger seems to have a real personality, being very loyal to its owner.
With Van Auger's new abilities, I think Usopp is going to develop future sight to counter act it by shooting where he will appear next.
Every new fruit revealed is like an updated version of a previously existing fruit, it's so obvious it makes me think it's on purpose. Blackbeard has that book with the DFs as we all know, he must already know about fruits like Ope Ope or Ivankov's, and decided to hunt the best versions of them (since obviously he can't go for who had been until recently a Shichibukai, or a Revolutionary Army general). Blackbeard wants the very best in the market, he's like a businessman.
to be fair is quite a stretch saying that the ope ope is the worst version of the warp warp fruit... i mean ope ope can do a lot of things not only move things around
What I love about Van Augur's power is that when Usopp fights him he can't just win through pure snipery. He has to get around the warping and the only way he can presumably do that is by lying.

I wonder about the limitations of the Warp Warp fruit, because that could be how Blackbeard was able to go from Hachinosu to Amazon Lily to this island near wano in a matter of days. If that's not how, I wonder if it's just Oda's convenience or an actual way we don't know about yet
If we find out the rest of the Blackbeard Pirates Roles I think this is the easy match by pairing the strawhats against their role counterparts Luffy-Teach, Zoro-Shiryuu, Jinbei-Burgess, Chopper-Doc Q & Stronger, Laffitte-Nami, Van Augur-Usopp. Those are the easy ones. For extra I'd say Vasco Shot-Brook(Vasco Shot has been seen wearing a Jester Hat), Avallo Pizarro-Sanji(Corrupt King for the North Blue seen on Beehive eating alot), San Juan Wolf- Franky(SJW is the "Battleship"), Caterina-Yamato when she arrives, and then Aokiji-Robin.
I think there has to be more to Burgess' Fruit to make it a viable choice as a power, when characters can already get super strong just by training hard (even Garp boasts he punches mountains into dust).
Otherwise he might as well just have some regular Zoan, maybe an Ancient Zoan.
Maybe if it goes towards a Paramecia creation ability and he can actually create muscle fibres within himself, that would be awesome. And if awakening wise he can turn objects into muscle and make endless muscle arms.

The most insane thing Garp did was swing that giant metal ball around on a chain. A solid mass of iron that size would weigh MUCH more than the mountain burgess is lifting

Teleportation (Warp-Warp fruit in this) has always and will always be the most broken ability in fantasy.
Take One Piece for example, all you have to do during a fight is teleport a devil fruit user about 1 inch above ocean (perferably really far away from land). Most won't be able to suddenly save themselves, and even more won't be able to react in time before they touch the ocean 1 inch away. Not to mention he is a sniper and is able to see things very accuratly with observation Haki, meaning he could accuratly do these teleports.
Downside: We don't know yet. It depends on what the conditions are for his fruit
Krieg's armor wasn't gold it was wootz steel which was said to be the first high-quality steel made in the world
it also doesn't matter tho cause we see people break/cut iron and steel all the time now
(fun side fact it was mostly used for swords or knifes)

BB saw that Burguess' fighting style relied on pure brute strength so he just stat dumped
When the Blackbeard pirates were taking fruit powers I was thinking that Burgess would have taken Urouge's power since Burgess has been seen taking a beating thus turning a weakness into his greatest strength
Urouge fruit and Burgess fruit is kind of similar both fruit deal with increase of physical strength. Burgee fruit is much stonger than Urounge fruit i wish he can come back from that sky island head back to the blue sea in the new world.

I think it’s weird how Oda introduced the fruits it almost feels like this is what their fruits are “right now” and it might be possible for them to switch out fruits depending on what their “mission” is

Will be interested to see if doc Q can create a disease with positive effects to buff the crew. For example the "I can walk on water disease". Obviously that's just a random thing off the top, but the potential for this fruit is very fun to think on.
I hope it's not gonna become something like "I can give a random property to someone's body" because that's gonna be too messy to write, it could easily cause plot holes by being too OP.

I love Van Augur’s fruit as, it is most probable he will be fighting Usopp. In a difficult situation Usopp will be running away but, that’s not possible anymore with Augur’s warping ability. It’s the perfect fruit for Usopp to fight against and fully engage in a fight to truly become “a brave warrior of the sea”
The warp warp fruit is also excellent for scouting information. Snipers usually want to have an overview of the battle and if he can, say, teleport up into the sky, see where everyone is and teleport back to the ground, that's pretty strong. He could also just straight up shoot out of the sky, or even out of clouds!
The other perfect match is that we all know from First Person Shooters that Snipers are weak close range. Well, good luck catching up to a teleporting sniper.

I think the best counterpart for Burgess on the Strawhat-Crew is Jinbe, he'll probably use some sort of martial art that uses his opponents strength against him... like theoretical aikido.

For Usopp vs Van Augur i like to imagine it will go like this:
The battle starts very far apart and it starts as a simple sniping battle, except their shots keep colliding mid air. Eventually, Van Augur uses some named attack and starts warping all around Usopp in a circle, except like a very big circle. Using his very good sniping skills and vision at each warp he shoots a bullet directly at Usopp so within seconds he has dozens of bullets coming at him from every direction. In classic Usopp fashion this will be where he gets very beat up and takes a lot of damage (Look at Dressrosa or Alabasta). Maybe this happens a few times and Usopp just doesn't feel like he can win, but he also knows he cant run or from him as he is always watching him and can always catch up. Then, Usopp has a flashback to dressrosa and in a somewhat parallel to Luffy seeing into the future vs Katakuri for the first time, Usopp purposefully uses observation haki and sees an insane distance all around him. This lets him see Van Augur well finally but he cant keep up with his movements and keeps getting hit, though now he can dodge some of the bullets successfully. Then he manages to very quickly awaken future sight in some way and is able to see where Van Augur will teleport to multiple seconds into the future and shoot a perfect shot directly at his eye with the goggle. Usopp usually doesnt win fights my just doing a bunch of consecutive damage so I think I could see him only successfully hitting one shot but it being the perfect shot that effectively neutralizes Van Augur. Then it could either end there or Usopp just shoots a few more to make sure he won. Some of this could be replaced by some special thing he learned from Elbaf or he learns Obs Haki at elbaf but just improves it greatly in this fight. I also think that if BB fights Shanks and BB wins and kills him, Van Augur could kill Yasopp so Usopp has to avenge his father and then in doing so surpass him.

That teleportation one is ridiculous with Van Augur. Imagine you see a speck on the horizon and then a moment later, an emperor warps onto your ship. Instant dream death for the entire crew 😔
Hopefully we get to see the BB crew’s bounties soon. Law talked about how their bounties have went tremendously. Would be cool to see just how crazy they really are😮

Burgess has me terrified cause now he’s strong as hell, now add in armament haki (potentially) and an awakened DF that could probably strengthen the things around you as well? He could use literally anything as a weapon and inflict massive damage. He could be a true pro wrestler and use a folding chair to beat anyone to death with it.
Something I find interesting about Chopper vs Don Q is that Don Q specifically stated that the patient zero who overcomes his disease with also have the antibodies within them afterwards. Those antibodies also transfer in the same way as the disease did.
But the most interesting part about this is that if Chopper overcomes constant new diseases that Don Q places on him, that in turn means that he’ll have those antibodies within himself. So if Don Q conjures up every single disease known within the One Piece world and Chopper overcomes them all, he will succeed in his dream of discovering a cure for all diseases, and it will be himself
i can see van augur killing yassop with coated bullets and his df, then having a battle with ussop, possibly awakening new powers from his grief in the final battle
Honestly Chopper vs Doc Q is probably a "battle" similar to when Queen infected everyone. Although I can't stress enough how much I want this to be the way Chopper finally realises his dream. Remedy that can cure all disease.

I think that the BB pirates would be well suited to fight the Straw Hats, but an interesting fight against the admirals like Burgess vs Garp or Van Auger vs Kizaru
My guess for the Warp-Warp fruit is that he can only mark one person/object at a time. A BB just riding w/ Doc Q and Stronger.
Or its yhe type where he mark someone/something then there's a cooldown before he can mark again but the one he marked can be cast multiple times then stop when the skill can be recast again.
