To this day I think One of the most underrated fights was usopp and chopper versus the Mr. 4 duo in alabasta. Everyone keeps analyzing the Blackbeard's fruits and coming up with the appropriate 1v1s but I really hope we get 2v2 based fights with the Blackbeard pirates, I think when the straw hats to get to tag team is the best stuff we see!
i really wanna see brook and franky fighting together, their chemistry together is really good as we saw in wano
That is probably one of my favorite fights in the entire series. In general, Alabasta had many great fights happen.
Another underrated moment Sanji and Zoro team up against Foxxy pirates
Are we forgetting usopp and zoro vs Jabra and Kaku? 😂
@@French.Toast.5 nah fantastic fight 💯
Don't forget in the Vasco Shot section, even in the East Blue, Nami could drink anyone under the table. The Straw Hats really are the natural enemy of alcohol.
more of a natural friend... XD
Now I'm expecting Vasco shot versus nami.
Ikr, Nami is an underated heavy drinker, she's the second person that has been shown to be able to handle a lot of 'shots' without losing a bit of consciousness
Oh Nami could drink me under the table iykyk
Vasco a real perv too hinted he wanted to r Bonnie when they had her before sakazuki showed up
Just want to point out that Sanjuan Wolf isn't the only canon giant to have eaten a devil fruit. There's also Morley from the revolutionary Army who ate the Oshi Oshi no Mi or Push Push fruit.
In an anime arc, a giant girl ate the shrink fruit too
Imagine if a giant ate a mythical zoan
@@theanimeunderworld8338 model gojira?
Ion tbink morley is actually a giant but just a huge human but now it makes sense bc the government been doing giant experiments so it makes sense later on the genes of those test subjects caused a mutation and now we got huge humans

The island island fruit can give credence to the idea that the world of one piece was forced into being islands by one of the former quake quake users to reduce the power of the island island fruit. It would have been the planet planet, or continent continent fruit in name but changed its name like luffy's to hide itself. Zoro verses an island that rearranges itself to try to fool him only for him to properly navigate it.
You have struck gold, sir
The idea of the island trying to mess up zoro by sending him intot he wrong direction completely backfiring is writing gold
Trash theory ngl
Wild
That's why they called Pizarro's the Corrupt King, because he stole islands
Oda's mind goes to really weird places when he designs characters and it's amazing. Like man sees a character that needs more flare and just gives *HIM* some fishnets.
When I first saw Kujaku’s fruit powers the first thing that went through my mind was the song Whip it by Devo. Also the interaction between her and Sanji in the future will be worth seeing.
It would be funny if Kujaku and Sanji fight Sanji immediately starts obeying her without her even applying her devil fruit 😂
I used to make up funky devil fruit user combos in my youth, and one of them was a giant with an insect zoan fruit that let's him turn into an ant.
The clay clay fruit i would say is superior to the wax wax fruit in that the creations can move and still pack a punch whereas all the wax creations can’t move due to them being solid when set. With that said, the wax substance would be stronger i’d say once its solidifies as Mr 3 has stated his wax is as hard as steel.
I don't think Vasco can conjure bubble. In chapter 1080, the bubble was from Sanjuan snoring 😪
Also, it seems that Pizarro still has his original body as shown in page 7 of chapter 1080.
I noticed that also
So many people missed that lol.
yeah i was weirded out to see him ride bubbles till i saw sanjuan wolf\
that scene almost made it look like vasco shot could conjure bubbles
3:49 Just a quick caveat : the Nomi Nomi no Mi is Vegapunk's DF, the Brain-Brain Fruit. A Drink Drink Fruit would most likely be called Nomu Nomu no Mi, Nomu meaning To Drink, as opposed to Nomimono which means A Drink, to avoid confusion.
Vscao Shot's fruit is the Gabu Gabu no Mi.
@@Staklihen Yes, but that's another fruit entirely, the Glug-Glug fruit, or Liquor-Liquor fruit, depending on translations. It focuses on alcoholic beverages, not all the things you can drink.
Like Liam said, the Nomu Nomu no Mi would be the upgrade of the Gabu Gabu no Mi, just like Caesar's DF is the upgrade to Smoker's DF, like Akainu and Sabo, etc.
The weird thing with pizarro, assuming that he literally becomes the island, fruit is his interaction with water. I mean, an island is in direct contact with sea water
It's probably more like he can animate or "give life" to parts of the island. You make a very good point because that would be weird
you know how users can be in a little bit of sea water without losing their powers? same idea, he is so massive that the amount of sea water is meaningless.
or, he does not get to the coast.
@@alicepbg2042 If he becomes the island itself, i would say that "the sea" in not a small amout of water to be meaningless.
If he is not i would be curios to at what extent he can go near the coast.
@@misunderstoodmadman6230 San Juan Wolf has been known to walk on the sea floor withought losing his DF powers, because he is so big he can be in contact with great amounts of water in absolute terms but not in proportional terms. It could be the same with the island island fruit.
@@misunderstoodmadman6230 he is not touching the entire sea. only a very very very very very very small % of it.
and his body would be so big that it touches a small % of his body
Early on in One Piece, it was established that the Red Line acted like a whole lot of islands smushed together, which is why it's supposed to have a bizarre variety and distribution of weather patterns. This might mean that Pizarro's fruit does indeed work on the Red Line, albeit in only one segment of it at a time.
San Juan wasn't unaffected by water if you go back post marineford he talks about how tired being in the water is making him
It still seems odd that he isn't effected like other fruit users. Like others, even when in water only up to like their waist, lose all the strength in their body and flop over.
@@IsaacClodfelter well, you can develop a resistance like Luffy and Kidd with seastone cuffs in prison still training
@@ebenezeramare1 that didn't happen.
Those cuffs were a seastone alloy made specifically so power users could keep doing manual labor while imprisoned.
Not saying they didn't get stronger just that they didn't and to our knowledge can't develop a resistance to the sea or seastone.
One piece never ceases to amaze me... I can't be the only one that still feels as if one piece hasn't truly peaked yet this is all building up to a huge masterpiece and I'm here for the long run...
Let's hope nothing happens to Oda before it comes to its amazing finish
@@Aratain bruh💀 don't jinx it
What if God Valley "Disappeared" because it was originally someone who had the power of the Shima Shima no mi and they either died or left? Blackbeard could've known about this fruit then, being a part of Whitebeards crew and hearing stories about it, making him seek it out for his crew.
Was pretty funny to mention the AOT reference with pizzaro. I had a joke idea before that the red line is made from the bodies of the Ancient Giants/Oars race. Especially after seeing how crazy durable Kaido was.
With Grus' ability to make golems like cracker, this raises the question of is Galdino just lacking the overall skill in his power to make wax golems, which would be mad useful given how the wax is tronger than steel
Didn't we see him actually make golems when he fought Luffy? He created a bunch of clones of himself then dared Luffy to find the real one, which he inmediately did.
@@Peklet he made them, but didn't animate them. I'd consider it a golem only if it's animate.
I think the animation is a clay clay fruit exclusive ability because in a lot of mythologies clay is used to create life (I think in DC Wonder Woman was made by clay!) Also golems come from (I think) Jewish mythology and are literally like men made of clay brought to life.
But that strength could mean a lack of mobility, so at best they could be motionless sentries like a tin woodsman without an oil can.
@@zappahcracker yeah but remember, charlotte cracker did the same thing with his bisu soldiers
I... am a devil fruit
May I consume you?

Love the video and keep up the great work Liam
I'm really loving all these crazy new devil fruits, always enjoy getting updates on the Blackbeard crew
Love how my you keep making such good content ❤
Prince Grus with the clay fruit was really cool to me and Pizarro being an Island boi with his fruit was hilarious to me but Vasco shot better hide from all the heavy drinkers no cap
Been waiting on a new video 🔥
man this channel is awesome glad im subscribed!
A Luffy vs Vasco shot may be a really fun fight, and also one that makes the plot progress in a weird way. It could create a drunken over powered version of gear 5, because de alcohol helps Luffy be “more free” and come up with a ridiculous solution to any kind of problem they’re confronting at that moment 😂
I'm seeing him as either a second Zoro opponent or a Nami opponent seeing as how much alcohol she can handle.
@@wyattb20 yeah, that’s way more likely to happen. But it would still be fun to see a drunken gear 5. Maybe not so much after an all out fight, but thanks to some kind of interaction between Luffy and Vasco.
@Paradoxical Mess ha! That would be great.
The whip whip fruit reminds me of what that Commodore guy from the Grand Fleet did in dressrosa, Doflamingo's henchmen listened when he whipped even questioning it immediately before getting bowled.
imagine if his DF is actually charisma-charisma fruiy😅
The Laugh Laugh fruit make people laugh within your vicinity can be controlled how hard you can make them laugh which can render then rolling on the ground laughing and can make them go sleep from being tired from laughing
Congrats on 1 million subs 🎉
Kuchaku’s fruit seems like a mix and upgrade to both Hancock’s fruit and Belo Betty’s fruit (the Pump Pump fruit, which allows her to encourage people)
The mera mera no mi can be used on inanimate objects. It just needs to be used more directly like with slave arrow or a hit instead of the wide range wave.
I love the Grus at 0:03. Nice one, one of the dear channel artists. 😌
The bubble Vasco Shot was floating on was apparently one of San Juan Wolf's snot bubbles from his snoring.
My favorite is definitely the Clay Clay Fruit, you can make so many friends! 😄
If Kuzan is one of the Blackbeard pirates currently of the coast of Egghead, could this mean we finally get to see two admirals face off and if that is the case will Morgans use this opportunity to announce to the world that Kuzan is now a pirate.
It’ll also be interesting to see how Kuzan interacts with one of the five elders especially if he really is just undercover
Kuzan can be here as Sword like Drake in mission to destroy Kaido pirates
kuzan will betray bb pirates because "titanic" captains and titanic was destroyed by iceberg
LMAO the fact that he put that image of sadie hanging in wayyy far back plus the blur is so funny to me. bro is not trying to striked again...
Doflaminfo's clones also seemed to have some sort of independence, the clone has sight and has proved to have been able to see and speak by itself without mingo present near.
A quick note, some paramecia DF like the Straw Fruit, Book Fruit, even the Clay fruit are much more than simply producing their respective object, it seems that Oda in his mind is more interested in the underlining concept behind their objects, for example the Straw is related to Voodoo practices , the books with the stories inside them and Clay is the material that supposedly was used by God to create humans,
Prince Grus had a cool devil fruit, at first I thought his creation was another marine with a logia ability and I was surprised he wasn't mentioned.
hope alls good we missed u td
dude how do you come up with this stuff, actually had me laughing out loud at 10:00 great video
I like to imagine Wolf's df works like Luffy's, in the sense that his powers aren't canceled out by the sea water, just isn't able to use them. The same way Luffy stays Rubbery under water and chopper stays intelligent under water, Wolf would simply remain big under water. (it would probably still weaken him, but not so much he can't walk, or maybe it does and he's just sliding along the bottom because his legs are too weak).
Really hope the final saga has a lot of free for all and multiple people fighting eachother at the same time. Usopp + Chopper vs. Mr4 + mole was incredible, Strawhats vs. Oars/Moria was honestly one of the, if not THE, best fight in the series.
I like both of those fights but calling oars one of the best fights I do disagree with. Also while on the subject while it was short, law vs doffi vs the admiral was actually hype af.
@@wyattb20 That one was fire too
Yo I think this is the earliest I have been to a grand line review vid
6:40 I'm so glad you mentioned the water thing, I'm curious how oda handles this
When we saw Pizarro's DF ability I immediately thought he'd be Zoro's opponent.
Zoro can draw on his experience fighting Pika. Also there can be a whole set-up of Zoro having to find his opponent and continuously getting lost.
I always thought it would be Zoro vs Shriyu since he is also a Swordsman.
@@djry9795 yeah, that was the prevailing theory, but I imagine theories will change with the reveal of everyone's DF.
@@djry9795 it'll be sanji vs shiryu. He'll be so pissed that the df was stolen🤣🤣
@Illumina09 we assumed that, but Sanji can now turn invisible thanks to his G66 mods. So while we might get a nod to Absa's death it's swordsman v swordsman always
@@zom8680 wrong, Sanji can't turn invisible anymore, he broke the suit, now he's just very very very fast, which is not the same as turning invisible
At the end of the East Blue saga I think Nami said the Red Line was simply many islands joined together, I wonder how that would work with the Island fruit
This chapter was pretty great with all the power reveals, really keeps us on our toes
GREAT VIDEO
Imagine if Momo opened wanos border and Pizarro possessed onigashima convienently placed next to the flower capital. Giant sword and skull on it is too cool to pass up using
You know I think nami will fight vasco shot, she can put out any fire he creates and she showed quite a drinking ability in whisky peak
4:00 The bubbles that Vasco is sitting on come not from his power but from Wolf's snoring.
Nah bro that drawing of Smoker caught me so off guard. I’m dead 💀 3:58
Ideas: Humid Humid Fruit, Oil Oil Fruit, and Regret Regret Fruit.
Humid Humid Fruit: The ability to manipulate the humidity, and potentially the weather conditions, within a specific radius. An enemy with this power could rival Nami.. Nami's Climatact would be rendered useless and she'd have to rely on her bo staff skills, which I believe she may have allowed to be lacking as she has gotten too reliant on her weather magic.
Oil Oil Fruit: Produce oil from the body and manipulate it, even absorbing it into the body. One could walk or run on water since Oil and water doesn't mix. A Character with naval sabotage tactics and rescue could use this power as long as they clean up the spill afterwards. Big weakness is fire.
Regret Regret Fruit: Touch someone to make them feel Regret and be frozen in fear and doubt, even learning the cause of said regret. Ex: Zoro feels responsible for Kuina's Death because he pushed her to duel with a real sword and she died falling down the stairs to retrieve a sharpening stone for her sword, probably to hide the fact she used a real sword from her father. Did he 'Kill' her? Is Tashigi a coincidence to curse his guilt? What if an enemy captured Tashigi, bound her hands behind her back and her feet together, and threatened to toss her down some stairs and break her neck in front of Zoro to relive that moment again ... but actually witness it with his eyes?
Maybe Sanjuan Wolf IS weakened by sea, except that he is just so stupidly durable that even when weakened he seems unfazed (one of the reasons why he was able to stand in the piping hot ocean near those volcanoes and just find it uncomfortable).
I do like the odd powers that get used in interesting ways vs the straight up over powered powers
Cool vid
Island fruit combined with warp warp fruit could be a nasty combo
Yeah
I think the pain of island destruction does not transfer to Pizarro. When Vasco Shot asked in the chapter whether they ought to burn down a town, Pizarro did not react as if that would physically hurt him.
Burn down the town, not necessarily the island
That Smoker "MENTLEGEN" meme is going to live rent free in my head all week.
yoooooo new vid
I thought Vasco Shot was making the bubble he was flying on at first but arnt they snotbubbles from San Juan Wolf?
It could be both.
Indeed. Look at huge panel where the bubbles come from his nose while he sleep/drunk then Vasco is on one of the bubbles. He gave em liquor and colossal fell asleep drunk making bubbles.
Since the bubbles seem to come from a sleeping Wolfs nose, the glug glug fruit could instead be some kind of reality warping power that gets stronger the drunker the user is.
That’s cool as hell actually
I'm assuming with the island island fruit it has 2 "drawbacks", the first being when he leaves the island he loses that attachment (and if he's doing an alteration that only works with the fruit then it stops working). 2 he has a radius of effect that he'd be able to alter/become part of, although this one I'm sure oda would say that the effect radius is like "100,000 beris" or something like that
When Franky's fuel was switched into tea he became a gentleman I'm pretty sure oda will do something whacky when Vasco faces franky
I’m sure that he can only control a certain amount land at the time.
Usopp fought a living island before, he'll fight one again. It'll fit very well as one of his heroic tales.
so far almost every lie of Usopp turned out to be true, so yeah, that makes sense
I loved how afraid of Garp the Titanic Commanders were.
4:36 brooooo i love this idea so much omg its gotta be like that no
laugh tale is in grandline and not in new world. There are two instances where ODA showed it to use. First when Rayleigh said it to nami that we are beyond the last island. And in flash back story of ODEN, Roger after finding the laugh tale. Cross the red line via fishmen island and enters the new world.
You mean to say that Laugh Tale is in Paradise? The "new world" is the name of the second half of the grand line
@@kristophesiem5336 yes
which also is in line with one of Liam's previous video on location of one piece
Let’s not forget much of what Oda shows is always to set up or prepare for something even bigger. Always. You think islands are big? We’ve seen Kaido lift Wano. There is a devil fruit that can turn someone into an island. Skypiea was a piece of land in the sky. There’s a literal whole world up there. I’m positive.
In fact, if devil fruits are man made. Maybe Haki comes from a greater power we haven’t seen yet. And maybe that’s where Luffy’s last power-up will come from- The Descendants of Haki.
What if Island guy can create a sky island
@@truthseeker9727 I’m not sure how they will get the island to float but it’s a very possible thing that can happen in one piece. They used bubbles to breathe/live underwater.
I think they’re all pretty great in their own way the users and the potential they bring is awesome
San Juan’s surface area( amount of space in direct contact with water) is very low compared to his size as increasing volume (or the total space you take up) increases much faster relative to surface area. In other words his “core” is insulated from the water and therefore protected. it feels to him like it would feel for luffy to just have a light soak of water like when he fought crocodile.
I think I was most intrigued by the whip whip fruit. Although now we know it is probably useless against most upper tier opponents due to haki, I'm super curious how it could work with the environment. Like could she make a section of ground stand up to protect her or cause the ocean to part etc. Clay golem fruit is probably my second most interested although I have a sneaking suspicion that it's probably very limited like he can only keep the golems active for so long or something so he really can't use it in a tense situation.
I love the idea of her being out at sea, a group of pirates is coming up to their ship, and she just starts whipping the ocean to go down them. Although I don't think she can considering how the ocean interacts with devel fruit users.
@@wyattb20 I don't think it's impossible, we had stuff like Whitebeard being able to create seaquakes and to a lesser extent Kuzan could freeze the ocean at a massive scale and that was pre-timeskip. Oda has always been a little wishy washy with the water rules with DFs but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I think Pizarro's fruit is limited to 1 island at a time.
I was under the impression the bubbles Vasco was sitting on was Wolf’s snot bubble. Because he’s just that big.
Made this comparison before but theirs a web novel called worm where their was a monster called bohu that could fuse with a city so I guess that pizzaros fruit is similar but with an island
I think Grus is able to turn his comrades into clay, which is why they all look unique.
Interesting… and make them temporarily immortal😳
No.
@@flyesthuman 😂one of his clay men literally got it’s head cut off and regenerated tf you mean no. If that’s not immortality idk what is
@@truthseeker9727 he does not turn his comrades into clay. He makes them like claymation. If you look at prince in his panel, he clearly is making a golem. That’s why I said “no”.
@@flyesthuman but you would be contradicting this man’s wonderful comment
Red Line is actually made out of smaller islands. Nami said so in the manga but not in the anime.
Kujaku's fruit made me think of Belo Betty's more than Boa Hanckock's, in that they can influence a person to act a certain way by use of words and a specific object, a banner and a whip. Difference is that Belo Betty can influence only people, as far as we've seen anyway, while Kujaku can influence both people and objects. The mero mero fruit doesn't influence people to like the user, it just turns them to stone if they do. The mero mero fruit is more similar in that sense to the soul soul fruit, it has a certain effect on someone only if that someone has certain feelings but it doesn't create those feelings against that someone's will.
I think a limit for the Island-island fruit would be you have to be on the island for a long time to permeate through the land so it would take a lot longer for him to take over alabasta
Imagine if shanks had the Suke Suke No Mi… how would anyone beat him?
My favorite new fruits are the whip and island fruits because they have the potential for the greatest joke payoff in one piece history
Strawhats: Zoro, where the hell were you?
Zoro:It's not my fault, the buildings moved around!
GrandlineReview: fighting an island would be tuff.
Garp: who says?
3:45 My man really forgot Vegapunk's DV being Nomi Nomi no mi
Ngl I thought that they killed Pika when the chapter came out only to find out that its a different fruit
That would've been crazy lore wise. Like how they took Absoloms fruit for Shiryu. It would've been fitting
I don't see how the Staw Hats are supposed to beat the Blackbeard Pirates this point. Luffy and Zoro are going to have to do some huge carrying or the rest of the crew is going to have to get a huge buff.
You’re forgetting Sanji
Sanji and Jinbei are pretty strong too and Zeus can carry Nami even if she is a glass cannon. Ussop and Chopper are the biggest problems.
Nami vs Vasco. Girl does not get drunk easily AND she can douse any flames that erupt. Of course, she'd likely be the one causing the flames by siccing lightning on him, but hey, she's the problem and solution!
Oda will just inexplicably nerf them for no reason like he did with kid (no haki), big mom (no brain), etc
What about Vegapunk? Isn’t he that solution to the power of scaling difference?
A whip whip fruit that lets users turn objects they touch into whips would be cool on its own, imagine turning Yubashiri into a whip that could cut or even a cannonball into multiple whips that would lash a ships sail to shreds....
i love the new lady that whips buildings 🙂
For me the most intresting fruit from this chapter is the clay clay fruit. It is such a great fruit for a marine and not only. One person capable of creating a group of golems with the intangibility of logia users, (maybe even more since they not humans maybe they can tank a haki attack) is astonishingly good. Literall one man army. Also I doubt that he can only create golems. I think his situation is quite similar to Luffy"s. He gained base conjuring and manipulating clay abilities and then by the force of imagination he created this golem ability and mastered it to the point where his creations has their own will.
Everyone keeps saying that vasco shot was making the bubbles, but they were coming from the sleeping sanwan, there was a stream of them leaving his face
You tricked me you bastard with that title art.😂😂😂
Nami is actually the perfect counter to Vasco Shot's Devil fruit because she out drank Zoro back in Whiskey Peak and we all know Zoro has been training to become the worlds best drinker and beating Nami for the title
Definitely the Clay-clay fruit from Prince. Having an army of midget clay figures following right behind me would be so awesome and adorable.
There is an RPG called Makai Kingdom which allows characters to use objects on the field. For example you can use a garden-variety bush as a weapon. The special attacks range from the simple "bushwhacker" to the over the top conflagration of "bushfire". My point is the devs went nuts with using concepts that are tangentially related to the items in the game. It's in the same ridiculous extent as in One Piece.
Gr8 point about Red Line and Pizarro I wonder how that works too
Damn 5 in the morning is a crazy time to have ost
when showing the golems oda emphasize on the commoners reaction to golem as "guns are not even phasing them" instead of "bullets are going past them"
that might mean that these clay soldier or golems are hard enough to tank bullets from close range like nothing
and with haki they might make the best one man army df in the series
I think the clay clay fruit is a weird watered down variety of Doflamingos. They look/dress the same and their users move their hands similar. Would not be suprised to see if they create clones the same way
I like assimilation fruits. Like Douglas's fruit, the stone stone fruit, and the new island island fruit. What's cool is that they can make giant structures or control pre-made structures. They can make giant structures with the materials they can assimilate or fuse with and make a statue of themselves. And I'd like to see Pizarro use the materials of the islands he can assimilate and make a giant version of himself. He already controlled the giant skull. What if he took things a step further?
Don't know why but for some reason Pizzaro's fruit reminded me of Bege's fruit and Whip-Whip fruit reminded me of Pump-Pump fruit (Belo Betty)
