    i lost all my internal cues like hunger, fullness, cravings. i have absolutely no appetite nor desire to eat but i also never feel full. i hope they’ll eventually come back so i can intuitively eat eventually. and i’ve been eating consistently and maintaining my pre ED weight for 4 months....maybe have to give it more time

    I wish I had you here by my side. You are so inspirational, you practice what you preach and you're glowing like crazy. Meanwhile, I am still stuck in quasi and I just don't know how to break out of it. One day I have so much determination I go all the way in and then the guilt just gushes over me and I am back in square 1. I succeeded once, fully gave myself the unconditional permission to eat and regained my menstruation, but quite unnoticeably I relapsed and this time my weight drops even way more rapidly despite my occasional attempt to eat to my satiety. I know I need to make a constant conscious effort to fight IT every single day but it's just so damn hard. I'm so disappointed in myself.

      @@eggandplant3682 oh long time no update, I have recovered 🥰. Receiving treatment for months and supported by family, I managed to push myself through the fear and reestablish a normal relationship with food. Now I hang out and enjoy life without fixating on numbers and apperance obsession. I gradually normalized my extreme hunger after a few months of all in, regained my period and became less cranky. Now I balance my meals with mostly nutrious food. Guess what, life isn't all about food anymore and it's amazing.

    Im doing really really really well with the eating part, but my life is still miserable because I’m trapped in my ocd and LLM. I’m gaining weight super fast already and I feel very uncomfortable in my new body. Also I never experience physical hunger even tho I’m in recovery for 3-4 months now. I eat about 6-10K each day (not counting, but I can estimate) and that’s purely mental hunger (I thinks, I don’t even know if it’s mental hunger or if it’s just my new “normal” to binge a couple times per day). The only way I can physically eat all this stuff (so I can satisfy my mental hunger) is by staying active. So I want to eat a lot, don’t have the physical capacity, therefore I move a lot, which keeps me trapped in behaviors and the Ed. Don’t know if this makes any sense. Also I’m at a healthy weight!

      Sorry, you shouldn't mencione your weight in this type of videos, please edit your comment, leave out that information, this is kind of a rule among this community. Also, you can die because of exercise when you're underweight. Once my heart went so crazy i thought i was going to have a heart attack. You can only start gaining muscle after you gain weight. It's super hard, but it will get better. Don't forget you're great.

    • @larasc8944
      @larasc8944 3 года назад +2

      I used mantras like „I need a lot of rest & food to heal. Resting is my medicine for my excercise addiction and food is my medicine for my ED. There isn’t a thing like too much resting (and food) in recovery. I need this.“
      Also I asked myself „is this a disordered thought?“ by acknowledging the ED thought it felt easier to start opposite action.
      At first it feels uncomfortable to sit with the feeling but it will pass, I promise. And it will decreases when you are constant in doing your opposite actions. You can do this!!

    If you stop gaining weight at one point, why do people who end up housebound bc they never stop eating for years bc their hunger is ALWAYS on and they become over 600 lb? I know this is an extreme example but no one can answer this question for me 🤷‍♀️

    • @MakeUpByJenniferW
      @MakeUpByJenniferW 3 года назад

      Most people on 600lb say have binge eating disorder, and even when you're not hungry you will binge on thousands of calories and you're usually out of control doing this, and for people of that size it's usually an everyday thing.
