- It's time for the Hound of Vengeance, leader of the pack! Flesh Hound extraordinary, hunter on multiple planes of existence, Khorne's dispatcher of bloody vengeance. Chaos Undivided factions also get access though. Just get a lord high enough level (as in, 16) and build a certain building and voila!

The Off to Battle unit focus format uses combat demonstrations from Skirmish vs. AI, background music and voice commentary, including:
- Intro
- Stat breakdown including hidden stats
- Common lord/ tech tree buffs applicable factionwide
- Tips, tricks, advice, maybe a secret or two!
- Bonus footage, playing out the battle once the voiceover is done so you can enjoy the sights and the music

Just had a "Disaster battle", as Legend would put it, playing as Be'lakor. I didn't wanna put all the legendary heroes into 1 army, so I put the Blue Scribes and Karanak into a tmp army with Festus. With a little bit of healing from the Scribes and Festus, the doggo managed to kill 3 heroes and 2 generals and a whole lot of Reiksguard at lvl 5! He is OP and I love him 😄

Someone could have said this already, but the lamasu (terrible spelling my bad) mount for the chaos dwarfs also has the magical attacks negation effect
Indeed it does. I did a video on that a couple of years ago now, ancient history, heh. I caught Legend on a stream saying he thinks this change to the tree spirits will get reined in because it's too powerful.
Good dog. He is great for sniping mages, artillery and buffing your hounds. He does not look like the typical Khorne hero, with emphasis on speed rather than power. He is OP right now, and I suspect that upcoming patches will tune him down. Its interesting that Khorne is going to be in the next DLC and we are getting FLC hero from Khorne.
Well it's good marketing strategy to tie this in to the next DLC certainly.
Treemen of all stripes now get rid of magical weapons in an area around them too, but they're a lot slower than Karanak. That said, a lot of Forest Spirits have physical resist, so...
Karanaknaknaking on Khorne's Door is a nice addition, even if I'll probably never use him because that would require me to play Khorne. He's suitably focused, and definitely useful. Lets just hope we're not all Karanakered over Khorne Legendary Heroes by the time the (almost inevitable) Scyla Anfingrimm arrives.
I noticed the forest spirt change in the patch notes and wondered if the trees shall inherit the Old World.

Really good against healing factions that can’t catch him, like Nurgle and VampCounts.
In MP you just have to run around their caster lord without engaging, and they are silenced. Vlad is now just a strong wight king. Kugath, festus and epidemius are now all finding it very hard to be useful.
Yeah, that silence bubble is really strong...
"Culling the weak" is just more khorne flavor for "I'm very timid so I punch below my weight class." lol.
And yet people report the hound's over-performing. I don't feel bad pointing out he's "especially" good at that and that should be your target priority, but since the legendary item is a Talisman, you're free to slap on stupid strong "generic" Weapons and watch the carnage.
@@OffToBattle Nah, I know what you mean, but you were right when you said the culling the weak thing, which is khorne's whole flavor, which is why I don't like him, lol.
He's billed as the blood for the blood god warrior gigachad, but in reality it's mostly stomping the shit out of peasants, lol. Khorne's timid and pussy.
Is off to battle any good in 5.1 patch?

By the time I got Valkia to tier 4 capital, I already removed Sigvald from the map. I’m not seeing any use for anti Slaanesh bonus in this scenario. He’s probably better with Skarbrand or something idk.
In my current campaign, Siggy was finishing off the Crimson Skull faction but I had a cult opening for the 'teleport Skarbrand to target' building, and used it, his field army crumbled and his Dark Fortress is ready to get kicked over. Still lots of ground to cover and Slaanesh-aligned factions to fight.
he's also completely broken for me and a few other people even after verification, having no skills, can't embed, and can't target enemies.
Ah shit really? I remeber when gotrek was broken like that it ruined my first empire campaign

Yep. We Tamur-can't get 50 hero capacity through him anymore. I mean, I know it was a huge pain to fight him, I was researching Greasus/ Ogres for goodness sakes, but yeah, still, it was overpowered.
