Fun fact: This playthrough is impossible to complete because of Wrong Side of the Tracks. Not because being a pacifist is impossible, but because Kevin lacks the capacity to actually succeed at that mission regardless.
So in The Sims you play as violent murderers who cooks humans to serve to the public and in GTA you're a pacifist. I think that sums up why I subscribed better than anything else.

I played San Andreas where I never went to Grove Street as told to at the start. I did Taxi missions to afford the house in the Caesar area, my neighbours weren't friendly and I was very skinny because the food shops never became available. Had to really assert my existence to get neighbourly respect. Saving every now and then I think avoided starvation. Beat the Taxi goal because I don't think you can starve for a lot longer first time round. I think the bicycle delivery was available and I earnt that asset, and with more Taxi and probably Pimping I bought up every property available to you from the start. Weeks in and I kinda forgot and rode a little too far into the cul de sac and triggered... "Grove Street. Home. At least it was 'til I farked everything up." which was more amusing than you'd think after all that time.
Kevin has went through a lot of character development. From wanting to kill everyone in sight for no apparent reason, to wanting to not harm anyone even if it makes life harder
Kevin in this GTA playthrough is like the pacifist monk in my DnD group: constantly around/involved with violent people, but doesn't actually participate in the violence
This video reminded me of the last time I played GTA. My mom initially said I couldn't play GTA, and I said "but I won't do anything bad," so she let me play. Then she walked in the room about an hour later and I was doing a mission where I had to drive while the homies were shooting. She said, "I thought you weren't gonna do anything bad." And I told her I was just driving and the homies were doing the drive-by, and she said I was an accomplice and made me turn off the game. I haven't played GTA since.

If you do more of this (like good boys should), you should know that if you lock on to an enemy and press the attack button (just punching the air with your fists counts) while you have homies with you, they'll start attacking the NPC for you
