They all looked great places to eat out. I think I would stay for 2 weeks for holiday
Can you list the restaurant names?
Chinatown saved me from my lonely and boring days when I Iived in NYC. They deserve the best and more.
The food looks great, but I'm still curious about this $5 haircut place 😂
Lmaooo right I was thinking like $5? I Gotta go check it out 🤣🤣
Let’s go
I have to hit these places up next time in NYC!
Dude Chinatown could be it’s own channel 😚
You gotta! 💯
@@HereBeBarr Curious, did any of these places ask to see your vaccination card? Or are they ignoring it like I hope they are?
We ate outside every time, so it didn't even come up.
@@HereBeBarr What about that first place? It looks like you're sitting indoors, no?
We had a great time hanging out in Chinatown together, Jon 🔥
Awesome video as always!! Thinking of those delicious dumplings, rice noodles, and sponge cakes right now 😋
You two rock!
Chinatown looks amazing bro! Definitely need that NYC energy in my life again! 💪🏻
Barr & Bing Buzz BBB!
What a great Friday night out, another amazing one Jon!
Fun times!!
Thanks guys! This was so fun. I’m starving now of course. Everything looked so delicious 😋
You guys are fire!! I love these videos. Keep it up Bing Buzz and Here Be Barr!!
One thing I love about all my NYC youtubers is that they always show love to other channels.
Hi.may almighty bless you and your family
All Great choices
Always love a good food crawl!
After discovering your video by accident (Cash Jordan) I am new to your channel and love your secret finds. Born in Brooklyn I now live in Southern California. I make bi yearly trips back to visit family. The history you present is what got me hooked. Great job and priceless tips.
All that food looks so awesome. It's very affordable, which is nice. Tough to pick just one of those stops. Cheers! ✌️
Always fun with you Jon! Awesome food reviews, I look forward to try some of best foods in Chinatown 🇨🇳🥠🥟🌯 The Sponge cake looks so good and very greeny fluffy
Yes what a surprise that was.
Ming is so beautiful !!! Awesome having her on your video .
Inside and out. Great girl and great couple
The Pan fried pork dumpling place was my favorite. That eating space was everything!
Great video Jon. Your food videos are always the best.
Brilliant tips, as always.
I was hoping you would go to tasty hand pulled noodles! My daughter and I went there in July! Loved it! We got both the dumplings and the noodles!
I gotta say: #1 dumplings and #2 banh mi. Yumm.
I want to try all of it, but I was especially excited about the Banh Mi (I'm a little bit of a conisuer about them). The baguettes looked/crunched perfect and they didn't skimp on the meat. 😍
That hot milk tea would be perfect for this morning
Thank you Jon ! I will visit one of these restaurants next time that I am in NYC.
Part of me really thought you were gonna get the $5 haircut :0
🤣🤣🤣 I could use one too
@@HereBeBarr i got a haircut here in the Philippines for $1. Why is everything so expensive there!
Delicious food in Chinatown there 😍 those pan fried dumplings look fabulous
I miss NYC Chinatown and Chinatowns altogether ❤️
That colored bread looked amazing!
I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and am new to ur channel and always wanted to visit NYC but after watching this stuff I really wanna try some of those dumplings they look really good!
They all were all my favorite stops!!! When I come to the city I have to check them out. Chinatown has some good eats and drinks!!
The dumplings sound really good!!
As far as toasted bagels goes - Hot Bagels in Fair Lawn on Saddle River Road definitely no toasting required, but bagels from Albertsons in Vista on Melrose - it’s a must.😸😬😄😁
Man, you are really making me regret not spending more time in Chinatown! Basically we walked through it on the way to Little Italy. Oh well, good thing we are planning a return trip next May
I’ve got a whole playlist dedicated to the 3 Chinatown’s. But Manhattan’s got a bunch of coverage on there
Im definitely going to check out these places!
I Love all the dishes!
I used to tell people about how cheap Chinatown was. Delicious food, quick and easy. Can't wait to get back
I tried that first place, Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles, and it was so good! I loved that street it was on too, it was quieter than most of the rest of Chinatown. I went today and it was a lot of fun. Thanks for the suggestion!
Cute dumplings
I'm so hungry now 😋😋😋
Your channel just popped up. I have not been to Chinatown for a while.
omg chinatown is the best!
That Banh mi loooks delicious!
I really lov your restaurant choise in Chaina town. 😍👍🥟🍚🥢
Very good friday
Gosh these are all so good, need to go
The hand pull noddle, i live here over 54 years, the best place.
Great!
Doyers St has the three of the most powerful chinese restaurants on one block: Nom Wah, Taiwan Pork Chop House, and of course, Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles. I agree their dumplings are banger, but many of the noodle soup dishes are just as good and filling. At any rate, all 5 places serve some great eats
So good!
That’s a nice vlog. I watched it as I was eating a banh mi I bought here in SGV 😄😄😄
Very nice. Great food.
You literally passed by the best restaurant in China town !! Nom Wah Tea Parlor 🤤🤤🤤13 Doyers street. Is cheap too !!
One day I will meet you in the city and thank you for putting me on these food spots 👍🏽
nice food tour
Tried Toniis rice noodles and the hongkong milk tea is potent nice little caffeine kick
It all looks so good! -S
I love the color street... great video bro.
Appreciate it Shawn!
Awesome
Looks like too much fun to me! I’m in!
And so beautiful
Eating like a real local!
I don't know where my son went for lunch today but he sent me a text that he found cheap hot pot in Chinatown (he even sent a pic). I will share this video with him for the $5 dumplings, since I mentioned it to him. The only Chinese bakery I know there is Fey Da (sp?) bakery. It used to be on 34th Street, I believe, and they had really good baked goods (I don't know but Asian bakeries have lighter cakes than American bakeries. I experienced that in Japan and Korea as well. They can be packed with frosting, yet they are so light. I remember the chestnut cake I had in Shibuya. Lots of frosting, yet very light on the stomach.).
If you get the steamed rice noodles from the street carts, you MUST request the sweet/peanut sauce and hot sauce to go on top! Game changer. Also, Tonii does have the peanut sauce, but you gotta ask. :)
Are steamed rice noodles good
I love Manhattan’s China 🇨🇳 Town !!! :x You should check out Flushing’s China Town inside the (New World Mall) , and (The Buffet) on College Point !!! ☺️
Yummmmmmyyyyy goood love dumplings love sponge cakes yummmmmmyyyyy
what a steal of a deal....
Good video. Thanks. You should've visited the $5 haircut spot. That would have been cool to see.
😅
I like Mei Lei Wah ❤️
That's a crunchy sandwich!
Aw just saw this dude bump into Brett Conti vlog
Just left ny wish i went there I'll be back in December will definitely stop here
Great video! Those dumplings look delicious. And $5.00 for a hair cut isn’t bad, although I won’t be needing that as I’m bald lol.
I am coming over from the UK to NYC in December. I am definitely going to spend a few hours in China Town and eat some food. Can I ask, does China Town have much going on regarding Christmas lights etc?
I'm not sure... but most of the city will have it, so won't be an issue.
Should do a video on how that $5 haircut went! lol 2:01
😙
Talk about heaven on earth!..I doubt there is another city in the US with so many Chinese places to eat 👍👍
LA has a lot too.. but nyc has 3 BIg chinatowns
@@HereBeBarr yes, LA has alot ..born and raised in and around LA, but what I see from your blogs and others, the food looks more authentic, tastier
Hi John. Are you gonna be doing 'City Climb' at the Edge??
It's a little too "extreme" for me, haha. I'm sure other channels will do it though.
Tasty Hand Pulled Noodles - it's good you didn't go on a windy day because then you probably wouldn't had picked up any audio other than the plastic rustling and snapping
Ming is gorgeous. So pretty with the personality to match.
Stop simping
@@destroyerofsimps6574 I love me some Ming.
next stop should be brooklyn's chinatown on 8th ave.
Can you visit the ear cleaning place in Chinatown
BTW the sponge cake place is the best in Chinatown.
Just remember when visiting Chinatown: It’s all in the reflexes.
17 Mott Street Wo Hop downstairs
Chinese food is delicious 😋🇨🇳
Panda express time
Do you know any spots over there that makes good teriyaki chicken and rice?
What was the app for the bathrooms and train you said to use for nyc
Sit or squat
I wish you’d mention if these places have vegetarian or vegan options 😳 Love your videos
Dumplings do veggie for sure. Pretty sure most did
From your video so when I visit ChinaTown enjoy super delicious food. Well then one day when I visit ChinaTown I want to taste all the good food there and of course to that very cheap haircut.
Hi, i am from the Netherlands and i am going from dec 23 to 1 januari to nyc.
I have 2 questions
1: do you think the United States are gonna go open for people from Europe ?
2: do you recomend a site or a company that sells plane tickets for a budget
1. Yes it's open november 8th. 2. that time of year will be very hard to find anything for a budget
Would you believe, I've NEVER had a dumpling!!! or anything else shown here! :-O I should be ashamed but I can't wait to try them.
Do it. You won't regret it!
Fried dumplings go better with Chinese vinegar
Hey Bar what the address of the restaurants where you bought cheap foods
See description I list them all
@@HereBeBarr thanks
Strictly speaking milk tea with condensed milk is called “cha zau”, which is something different from regular milk tea
Cool video & will watch more but please stop with the Cheers while tapping food it's D-U-M-B
一路順風
I like the way she says "freaking good"
👍
To this day I believe Chinese and specifically Cantonese Fish and duck are superior to any french treatment but on "pastry", no..
Did you eat all this in one day?? I got fatter just watching this!
