@@CircuitReborn they are (kind of) we don't know that the seraphim have parents as such, but assuming it's relatively close to biblical lore, emily would be charlie's cousin or her aunt (I'm not 100% clear on whether emily is sera's sister or her daughter)
Tbf they don't even know how someone can get into heaven or hell Adam being in heaven is prime proof that the system is either implemented manually or is bullshit He could just also be a demon in disguse
Not to mention how difficult is healing process the ups and downs are normal but this angels are so judgemental. @@fantasy-writer-v5zi just jope we can see the reason why they are so obssesed with it
I believe that what makes a soul worthy of heaven is to simply be as good as you can be by doing your best to obey the Ten Commandments, fallow the seven virtues, resist the seven vices, and fallow the teachings and example of Jesus by showing righteousness to others and to have faith that God only wants us to be safe and happy and only ask in return is our love for him and each other just like any good father would want for and from his children
Someone once pointed out that the whole 'their love is vile and blasphemous' is possibly more the fact that an angel is dating a demon and not that their in a same gender relationship as vizzie apparently doesnt want too much homophobia in her shows.
Honestly, Lute seems more like the type to think "Everything that is not what I am is wrong". Very entitled, all the worst upper-class vs lower-class stereotypes represented.
Yeah, but in this series angels are pretty much n@zis right down to putting undesirables in concentration camps, so maybe we should expect them to be less than progressive about queer rights.
I thought that two tbh as it could make sense but it could also be the gay thing based of Adam’s comments throughout the scene but I think it could be that’s what Adam’s saying but not Lute Also I kinda hard hc Lute as either a ace lesbian or Aroace lmao
If you notice, Sera said she "agreed to [Adam's] yearly activities." So it's implied the Exterminations were Adam's idea in the first place. My guess is he's the one to plant the "Hell is getting stronger and may cause an uprising" idea in her head since a lot of what she does is based on fear for those in Heaven. And he specifies that Vaggie landed specifically LILITH'S little hottie. I think he twisted all the info to cause the Exterminations just because he was jilted by Lilith and wants her to suffer as much as Lucifer does.
Sera said they were uprising and she has to do anything to protect those in heaven. So it has to do with Lilith. As we know from the first episode, Lilith's singing gave them (in hell) power and when they were about to have to much power, heaven began the extermination. Also Charlie said her dad started the whole thing with being ok with the extermination. Lucifer and Lilith "splitted up", while he is already wearing the wedding ring and Alastor being on a leash (probably by Lilith) and protecting the hotel and so Charlie's dream. There is a lot more story to tell and it always come back to Lilith. Also it said Vaggie died in 2014. When the show takes place in 2021, we have the 7 years Lilith & Alastor disappeared. So Vaggie appeared on (one of?) the extermination(s) when these both disappeared. I think we don't know when heaven started with the extermination. It was just implied that it began, when hell was about to become to powerful, because of the growing population empowered by Lilith's singing.
Also the fact that Sera said that Adam was the first human soul in heaven means that his son Able went to Hell, even though in religion he was the good brother, supposedly a model for humanity
Honestly I thought it was more of a middle finger to Lucifer. "You ruined my relationship with both my wives, so im ruining everything you own." He is THAT petty to just do it on that alone
@@Rex041085Counterpoint: she was TOLD they were uprising. Hell was told it was a population issue. Adam lied to everyone so he could have fun murdering. If uprising was actually the problem I have so many questions regarding Charlie’s thought process on how the hotel was supposed to solve anything.
I'm glad you love Cherri Bomb's new accent. Fun fact about that: Vivienne actually decided she wanted Cherri to be Australian last minute during production of the pilot, after becoming inspired by Australian folk music. Though, the dialogue couldn't be re-recorded. But Aussie Cherri's here now, I think it really fits.
@@FuzungaAs an American who loves doing an Aussie accent, it's really hard to learn the nuances. I started practicing at 14. I'm almost 28 now and I still wonder if I'm doing it right or it sounds more like a New Zealand accent. 😅😂
What if she stands up for her brother since he’s shown redemption. Imagine all good angels standing up and helping the good people in hell and maybe they’d get rid of Serra
Is Vox as strong as he's proposed or is it based on his support he'd be powerless without the other vees and here's the sugar on the cream he asked me to join his team I said no and now he's pissy that's the tea
@@anniefemmas5097 While I agree with your point that there are heaven born angels. There are also angels who were once human like Adam that could fall. Then again, while we don’t know the prerequisite to get welcomed into heaven, we don’t exactly know the prerequisite to fall to hell either. (In the Hazbin universe at least)
Can we take a moment to appreciate how much Angel Dust has grown as a person? The way he protects Niffty and stood up to Val. He's come a long way from his pilot self. I'm proud of our Spider boy. Also, the way Charlie and Emily reprise the refrain of "Hell Is Forever." With new lyrics that call out Sera and Adam's hypocrisy is just glorious. "You Didn't Know" as a whole is amazing, but that part hit's especially hard.
One small detail I enjoy that not many people notice that shows how much he's changed right from the start of the episode is he is openly complaining about his job to everyone. This shows he stopped putting up the facade around everyone, rather than just with husker
There were hints that Angel was more empathetic than he let on even in the pilot, I will say. Like when he jokes about getting food for all the souls in the empty hotel and it hurts Charlie. He started to reach for her, before pulling back. He also pushed Cherri out of the way of danger when fighting Pentious.

2:00 The sticker is especially good because it works both as an "LGBT+ pride" sticker and as a hometown sticker, since Charlie lives in the Pride ring.
to be fair just because Charlie's never asked Vaggie anything about herself ON SCREEN doesn't mean theyve never talked. Its only been 6 episodes, it's not like their entire life is on screen, we don't know what all they've been through together outside of what little we see in the episodes
By all accounts Charlie likely saw nothing strange. An extermination just happened(possibly was still happening) and she was already carrying bandages, so i think she was just going around looking for survivors who were injured, but still alive
There also has been a five month time jump between the first episode and now, so they could very well have had casual conversations over the course of the off-screen time.
I suspect that if Charlie did ask, Vaggie didn't want to talk about it. She's clearly got a lot of shame around her role in the exterminations. It even seems like she's used to being valued primarily as a tool, based on some of her dialogue ("I'll be your armor," a bit in the trust episode where she feels like she *has* to be useful to Charlie, etc) and that can really make it hard to trust that you'll be cared for or loved if you fuck up. Also, since she clearly didn't tell Charlie right away, it's likely that she kept feeling like it would be worse and worse to tell her as it became longer and longer, which is really tough to get over.
Also, later pointed out by Charlie, she shares EVERYTHING with her girlfriend and is the type of person who I feel would take for granted that that openness would be reciprocated. While yes she probably SHOULD have asked about Vaggies past she thought if something was that important to her girlfriend that she would tell Charlie at some point.
Another thing I realized, When would be a good time to tell someone something like that? She couldn’t tell her right away because she had to know she could trust her, but once you’ve gained that trust how do you know you won’t lose it the moment they find out? And the longer you wait the worse it would be so it might seem better to just forget about it and not tell them
I feel like Charlie is going to be more hurt by Vaggie not telling her about being an angel than she will be about Vaggie having killed so many sinners. Especially since Charlie has stood very firmly on the belief that people can change for the better.
Agreed, she even thinks she can give al a shot at redemption and he’s a legit serial killer. So if she’s mad at Vaggie for killing people, that’s just weak writing and forced angst.
That's why I believe that Charlie might forgive vaggie because we can see that vaggie is becoming a better person and we all know about Charlie's character and what she is like
Vaggie actually being a fallen angel makes so much sense now. She loves her GF Charlie but she's mostly been hesitant to support Charlie's dreams and goals. And it's because Vaggie don't want Charlie to get her hopes too high up because this could all possibly fail horribly because she knows how these angles and even hell work! 💔
Fun fact: You can see Angel Dust's sister that wasn't previously cannon in pilot but she's in the background in heaven sitting on a curb. I like that VizziePop added her in the background and hope she can have a prominent role later on in the series.
The reason for vaggie never telling is the same for her beating herself down for the trust excersices. After being "de-angeled" charlie became her whole purpose. She is duty bound, she was in haven and she still is in hell. The mere idea of letting her down on an excersice was debastating, let alone telling her she was part of the ones killing her people
About Lucifer and Charlie: Speaking purely from my experiences with depression, in my downs I would try to get everyone at arms length, thinking I was never good enough and they’d be better off without me. Especially close family. Why should I force them to endure the fuck up that I am if even I hate myself? Then of course they’d hate me too. I think… I can relate to how he’d feel… Because I know I’d act the same way if I had a daughter and I was separated from the mother. I’d love her more than anything, but it’s because I love her that I’d stay away, thinking she’d be better off without me.
its also notable that Luci seems to have some form of dissociative depression and we seem him actively struggling to engage in Conversations enough to actually retain any information, he has no concept of passing time and things may as well stop existing when he stops looking at them his brain would not let him play an active role in Charlie's life even when he wasnt feeling like it would be better if he didnt
12:09 its not just her not knowing how Charlie would feel about her being an angel. Its also about the internal guilt she has. She has slain thousand upon thousand of demons. After falling from grace and getting to know these people personally, imagine the shame and regret she would feel for herself of having ever geen part of that. Thats a lot to be forced to confront.
I think Vaggie being cast out wasn't specifically that she wouldn't kill a child but more that she hesitated and refused to carry out an order to kill a demon regardless of how innocent they look. This action, or inaction I guess, could be seen as insubordination and or weakness.
So, fun note that we learned from Viv’s posts, in the “everyone is hot” scene, the spider angel on the bottom right in the reds, whites, and pinks, is apparently Angel’s twin sis Molly.
I loved seeing Angel Dust stick it to Val and actually stand up for himself. Very cathartic to see! Hope he gets even more courage in the future and finally quits.
Its not just a 'job' though? Angel is on a contract, similar to how Husk is on a contract to Alastor. I mean, if they could just say 'fuck it' and actually leave, Husk wouldn't still be at the hotel. For the same or similar reasons, I'm fairly sure Angel can't just "quit" and stop working for Val. I think he needs the contract to be cancelled or destroyed in order to actually be free, and just bc Angel says "I quit" doesn't mean Val will go "Well okay! here we go ur contract is cancelled!" yk? But yeah would be nice to see Angel get more courage/selfconfidence against Val
@@matthewhansen4618 I definitely think he either has to kill val himself or get another stronger person to get val to sell or give them angels soul. Id say Alastor but idk why he'd do that unless it somehow benefitted him, plus as we saw with husker, idk if he'd be a massive improvement lol
Even if he gets braver, he can't just quit. This isn't just a job to him, Valentino owns his soul forever. You've seen from Alastor and Husk what can happen if he gets too big for his boots with him. The only way he'll get out of that contract is if Val dies or he does.
@@Big4ofThrash Val needs to fucking die then! Seriously Angel Dust is a fan favorite character so I think that if he dies there’d be a lot of fan outrage.
@@niccilefevreIt's interesting you say that about Alastor because I was just talking to my friend about this yesterday. About, if given a choice between Valentino or Alastor, I would go with Alastor. Valentino seems to abuse his power at every chance he gets which seems to be about 90% of the time. Alastor really only seems to flex when he's push to that point but he seems to really understand the concept of respect and boundaries. He only really flexed on Husk when he spoke out of turn with information that clearly struck a nerve with Alastor. And, he really only threatened Husk whereas Valentino immediately turns to physical violence against Angel. Alastor could have made things a lot worse for Husk, but he chose the direction of "check yourself before you wreck yourself" in a sense. That being said, I would very much like to keep my soul to myself and not sell it to anyone, but if I was left with no other option, I'm definitely going with Alastor.
I’m sure Charlie will be reasonable and understand why vaggie hid it from her, also I don’t think it will hurt their relationship since vaggie DID SPARE a CHILD
I found myself connecting with Emily a lot, personally. I'm a religious person, but I want to see change happen to make my religion more tolerant. It feels like talking to a wall with more conservative people who think everything is fine the way it is. I also felt that line about pretention. It reminded me of being a teenager and learning about the hypocrisy and holier-than-thou crap a lot of people in my religion spit out.
What if the reason why Carmilla Carmine was able to kill the executioner angel wasn't because of the amount of raw power she had, but the intent behind it. The only reason she attacked the angel was to save her daughters. That's a selfless act.
OK, about Charlie and Vaggie's relationship being one sided with the whole Carlie not asking about her backstory, I feel like we also have to consider whether Vaggie wanted to share that information to begin with. Like from what we've seen of her character so far, Charlie seems pretty openminded and understanding of people, I mean her primary goal is to provide people cast into hell a chance to redeem themselves. So, I think her not knowing Vaggie was an angel has less to do with her not asking her girlfriend about it and more Vaggie not wanting to let her know that to begin with. Something about communicating in relationships is that one has to ask a question but the other party must also be willing or wanting to answer said question. I've met a lot of people who are very secretive about stuff in their past, even to those close to them. Idk, that's just what I think, maybe I'm the only one who sees the situation in the show this way.
@@brolytriplethreat It's possible that Charlie asked her and even though Vaggie wanted to tell her she refused to answer or lied out of shame... She seems to regret her past so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. Speaking from someone who has lived in regret and shame... Even when faced with someone as forgiving as Charlie it is very easy to get caught up in the mindset of it's ok as long as it's not yourself, or that you are the exception of the rule... She might see Charlie being forgiving but (incorrectly) assuming that if Charlie knew about her past she would be upset or angry or break up... When in fact she probably might be only upset about not being told or the lie but not the context of it.
It could also be that Charlie did ask where she was from and Vaggie just answered vaguely because she wasn't ready to reveal the truth. I know I've done that in the past when asked about certain things I'm uncomfortable talking about right away and maybe Charlie saw the question made her uncomfortable and decided not to ask any further questions to respect her boundaries.
I'm part of Elijah's patreon and I hear about you constantly, so I walk over to see what's up, fellow Adam middle ground appreciator is what's up apparently, mad respect.
The heaven/hell split happened once free will was entered into the picture, so imagine that you kind of have to 'choose' where you end up yourself. Not literally, but it's like you end up where you think you belong. People who lived 'bad' lives will feel (subcounciously) shitty about it and end up in hell, and once they're there it's kind of a self fuffiling prophecy. "I ended up in hell so i belong here and i might as well act like it" which is why all the souls there act like, well you've seen them. In the tv show 'lucifer' (and the comics they're based on) hell works exactly like that. So my theory is that once Angel truly accepts for himself that he's a good person he'll be able to enter heaven.
the pride sticker on charlie’s bag is actually since they’re in the pride ring of hell! it’s probably also for her and vaggie, but either way i love the details!!
We stan Emily. What a G. A real potato that one. Also, I was kinda surprised that Cherri wasn't being very supportive and respectful of Angel's decisions and choices to be better. I mean, we got a little bit of that when she said that was happy for Angel that hotel was working for him, so that made up for it a little bit to me. Also, I f**king love that she has an AUSSIE accent! I hope we see her again soon. Shout-out to all my lovely Aussie peeps, y'all have the coolest accent.❤😊🇦🇺🫶
I think Cherri didnt realized that Angel changed his coping behavior with his situation, before he used drugs to escape and Cherri supported him in that because there wasnt more she could do for him besides being there and hyping him up. When she realizes Angel was serius and that being sober was actually helping him (when he confronts Val, something he was sacared before), she then start to support him in this path too.
@@chloeprice4125Yeah, I agree. And if the pilot is in fact canon, then we can cut her slack since the last time Angel told her about the hotel he treated it like a joke and how he had been ‘clean for two weeks’ while on “a shitload of Bolivian marching powder.” So I can buy that it took her a while to realise he was serious this time about getting better.
She will be back in the finale. Which would make sense all demons WILL have to fight against heaven or die.... that means ALL 7 deadly sins, like mammon and ausmodious and even stolas ect may be included it makes sense because ITS ALL of hell. XD
@@Golems_victory No they won’t be in it. For one thing Helluva Boss hasn’t been allowed to have cameos of the Hazbin characters so it’s highly unlikely we’re going to see Stolas or Ozzie fighting exorcists, who btw, are only allowed to kill sinners in the Pride Ring as Lute mentioned, Hellborns were given a pardon as part of the agreement, which would include the Deadly Sins. As awesome as it would be, I wouldn’t hold my breath on seeing those characters join the fight.
fun fact: the pink spider in the bottom right when St. Peter says “everyone is hot” is Molly, angel’s sister. Imagine her finding out that they’re going down there every year and putting her brother’s life in danger by killing sinners. :(
According to the lore (if this is still canon) Molly was the only one in the family that Anthony (Angel) had a healthy relationship with so I imagine she might go protective sister mode for him the way I do for my big brother (he's been through a lot and I'm very protective of him just like he is for me.)
I think Charlie has a right to be pissed at Vaggie. It's not that she was an angel, it's that she was an EXORCIST. In terms of suffering caused she's probably up there with Alastor and the vees. Not to mention that she lied about it, the fact that Charlie had to find out from Adam of all people is a disgrace. Plus there was useful information about the exorcists that she could have shared that would have helped the hotel, like that exorcists can be killed, that most of heaven doesn't know about exterminations, that adam can't be talked out of it, etc. But Vaggie hid all of that for selfish reasons
That's what i've been saying! ppl keep saying charlie wont be mad but she will. vaggie was a whole exorcist, not a sinner. she kill hundreds maybe thousands of ppl down there and once killed by an angel they don't respawn.
Mostly true, but Vaggie wouldn't have known the exorcists could be killed by demons. Heaven didn't even find that out until the first episode, as Lute says this was the first time one of the exorcist angels had been killed.
I always find it telling that her finger points to "behave selflessly" at the end here. Part of being selfless is doing what is right regardless of the consequences to yourself.
I'm sorry but can I just mention the irony of "I've never been big on the deep reds and blacks", when that is literally her hair and shirt color combo in this vid? lol
I think Sera is a great antagonist for our main characters. She clearly looks miserable during the song when Charlie is asking if she cares or not. I believe she knows the exterminations are horrible but she's so controlled by her fear of Hell uprising again that she can't see another way forward. I wonder if Lucifer and Lilith tried something before, with Lucifer's line "I tried this all before" in "More than Anything", and it went south which led to the exterminations to begin with. I'm really hoping that when Extermination Day comes that Alastor is completely outclassed - the lore Viz released before said that Angel's inherently have power over demons. So even if he could handle a few Exorcists he should be completely out of his league against an army. So I'm really crossing my fingers that with the Rosie episode coming up they're gathering allies and maybe even getting the secret of how to harm Angels from Carmilla to make a stand. I'm also hoping that if the Hotel is attacked Lucifer isn't just absent - there's no way he'd stand by and allow his daughter to be at risk from Heaven's army. Maybe even Lilith showing up if things got really bad (depending on if she's free to actually move around, we've no idea where she is). Regardless great episode and great reaction.
I don't even think Sera's frightened of Hell uprising. I think she's scared of being seeing as disobedient, and being punished the way the last archangel was punished.
But Hell had never had an uprising in this universe. The exterminations were allowed based on the fear of an uprising based completely on the words of Adam, not actual evidence.
Emily is so precious. 10:36 Caggie: "Was that you being homophobic or demonophobic?" Lute: "Whichever pisses you off more." Sadly, Lute is "Hot as fuck though."
Charly having a "pride" sticker is funny 'cause not only it's obviously for gay pride, with the rainbow next to it and all, but also her dad is the sin lord of Pride
11:39 I firmly believe the conflict between Charlie and Vaggie isn’t just that she was lied to, but more specifically that she didn’t feel like she can trust her. Charolette trusts everyone else and gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, but for the woman she feel in love with to both not be honest with her on the basis they wouldn’t be dating if she was, and withholding info and connections that could’ve helped Charlie MORE in her efforts, would be heartbreaking. It’d be bad enough that no one else seems to believes in Charlie or her dreams (except for her dad..recently), but on some level even her own partner doesn’t have faith in her or her goals would be heart wrenching.
I think the kid that Vaggie didn’t wanna kill was Hellborn. Like they were born in hell like Charlie was. And I believe Emily is Sera’s little sister. I say that cuz of the “I thought since I’m older, it’s my load to shoulder” line.
I don't think it was a hellborn, because hellborns are exempt from the extermination anyway. The exorcists are fucked up, but I don't think it would make sense for Vaggie to be kicked out for sparing someone already on the Do-Not-Kill list.
10:15 on the point of the child in hell, he looks like he’s from the cannibal colony, so I suspect he was born into a cannibal family who acted like eating other people is a natural thing. It is most definitely a parent inspired thing, but I don’t think heaven really cares where a soul gained their sinful habits. Also 6:30 hi Molly!!!
6:42 - I was shocked and happy to see Molly make her debut. It's so sweet and I hope her and Anthony (AKA Angel Dust) meet up someday. It'll be so sweet for siblings to meet. And then Angel will tell about his mobster family .
I mean we know Adam is the ultimate douche and Lute is a horrid monster But Sera's probably the worst. She co-signed mass genocide and is throwing herself a pity party "Oh it was such a hard decision, and like I feel so bad, but I need to do this and me me me ME ME!" Miss me with that crap
Clearly there is more going on behind the scenes. It's pretty naive to believe things at face value. Ironically, your type of thinking aligns with Adam's "black and white view."
Well, what else she was supposed to say? "It's all Adam's fault"? She needed to calm down Emily and it was really Adam's idea to the problem that Lucifer wasn't able to solve. For me it was just "Meh, whatever..." If you begin to think, what else she needed to say and what everyone would have thought of her, you'd be stuck in a loop.
In defense of Sir Pentious she didn’t say no and kinda flirted with him a little at the bar. Plus the smile she gave when he asked if they wanted to “do a sex” seemed a little flirty. Like he doesn’t have much rizz, but his dorkiness was endearing to her. That and I doubt many sinners have gone to battle with her so long or with such strength. He just needs a little confidence.
i continue to wonder how far Charlies "redemption is good" thing actually goes. Like a part of me CAN NOT believe that she thinks EVERYONE is redeemable. Like there is a big difference between Angel and someone like Val. And honestly i think that is the thing i most want to see her have to confront (some people CAN NOT, AND SHOULD NOT be saved)
I think that’s why she doesn’t force anyone in the Hotel. People who can be redeemed will probably come from the pool of people who make the first step and TRY to get better.
She seems to believe anyone could in theory turn themselves around and deserves a second chance. But does realize that they have to WANT to do so first.
Charlie, at least from what was established in the pilot, hasn't really thought it though. She thinks that redemption is a good idea, but she doesn't know the hows, whys, whose, etc.
My take is that whether a demon can be redeemed or not depends on how willing would they be to go for redemption when they know it will a 100% guaranteed success and easy. Take Valentino for example, even if the path of redemption were offered to him on a silver platter, he'd ignore it and prefer to stay being a pimp and abuse his employees. that means he can't be redeemed. On the other hand, Cherri bomb, for example, would definitely consider redemption if she was guaranteed she'd succeed, that shows there's a chance for her.
Vivzie mentioned on an episode of the HunieCast that Cherry was always Australian, but none of her lines in the pilot really let it be emphasized much, so you have to _really_ listen closely to hear it. When Krystal appeared on the HunieCast and did Cherry's voice it was much more apparent. Can confirm: in pretty much every job, whenever there's a problem the first question anyone asks their immediate superior is "Can we fix this without telling the higher-ups?" and 100% of the time the answer is "Yes."
10:00 Seeing that the kid has the appereance similar to the ones given to the cannibal demons, most probably is that his parents were cannibals and he ate what they give to him without knowing the truth, then in some circunstance he died (like if the family of his parents victim were after them, including him, or even if he were killed by his own parents) and he was judged as a sinner without considering that he was a child that didn't know what was happening, he looks like 8 years old after all, specially since church have a tendency of telling kids that if they aren't perfect they'll go to hell
Regarding the Charlie Lucifer issues, I saw someone suggest on Tumblr that Lucifer's depression is just so bad he's disassociating. For instance Charlie says she told him about the hotel but he doesn't remember that and in some points in episode 5 he's clearly checked out of conversations. He's so depressed he can't pay attention to or remember anything. I've only seen this theory once but already subscribe to it wholeheartedly.
Yeah, depression is linked to short-term memory issues and inability to focus Also, he is alone most of the time and so time would probably be off, like one minute it might feel like an eternity but be a couple hours and then next thing he knows it's been a week. So, even if we don't consider that he might be pushing away loved ones (while craving connection), or feeling unworthy of reaching out, he might be checking in when he can while not realizing how much time has actually passed.
Charlie is going to be hurt by that reveal. Absolutely. But it won't last. She knows Vaggie is a good person. Her own father is also a fallen angel. Adam was relying on hatred to cause division, but he doesn't know Charlie. Charlie knows the difference between good and bad, and more importantly, between right and wrong.
Really? She knows the difference? She thinks its fine for serial killers, rapists and all other manner of horrid people to just be totally forgiven just because they're "sorry." She doesn't know anything.
@@DioxJXD Knowing the difference is not the same thing as thinking it's fine. Being forgiven is not the same as being saved. She has an entire song about how "sorry" is just the start. She thinks that if a person is sorry, and if they change their behavior permanently, and most importantly, if they understand why they are changing their behavior, then, they can be saved.
Honestly I think it would be interesting if that face she made at the end was more of a pain of self reflection. Like "I never knew Vaggie was carrying this kind of burden, what kind of girlfriend am I?" Because Charlie is absolutely the type of person to feel guilty about that
@@CrownofMischief That would be interesting...but let's face it: Charlie is a naif. It would be very in character for her to just never have even thought of Vaggie being an exorcist, if she even figured out she was a fallen angel.
I'm very much getting the impression that Sera is TERRIFIED - like whoever or whatever's above her in the cosmic food chain has her terrified of challenging the status quo (or of having a loved one like Emily do so).
Her expression in “because I was older it’s my job to shoulder” her eyes have such a sense of worry in them, there’s something she’s keeping from the denizens of Heaven beyond the existence of the Exterminations
10:00 While that sinner could have possibly been a child, they also could have just been a small statured demon, like Nifty. (Based on their design, they were likely from the Cannibal Colony - vintage clothes, sharp teeth, blacked out eyes, muted rose color pallet, etc.) I think it’s less about _who_ she let go, and more _why._ Vaggie saw a human soul crying in fear, and she felt empathy for a demon for the first time, and showed them mercy.
You know, one thing I noticed was that when Adam was talking to Vaggie, he said that she landed "Lilith's little hottie". Notice how he says Lilith, not Lucifer, even though he's literally the king of Hell. This is just more evidence to the theory that Lilith is a villain and has been in heaven all this time doing...idk what, and she is controlling Alastor
6:10 There's a theory that Lucifer and Sera are related, and therefore, so are Charlie and Emily. Edit: And no, Mosco, you are likely wrong about Sera on two fronts. The first is that since Emily uses Sera's first name and Sera making a point about being older, there is a good chance they are sisters. Second, Sera is just afraid of being thrown where she doesn't have protection.
So an important distinction here: she didn't say there was no evidence souls could change. She said there was no evidence they could be REDEEMED and let into heaven. Because as far as we know even she doesn't know what the criteria to get into heaven in the first place are because they don't actually make the decision.
I feel like maybe Adam was good WHEN HE LIVED ON EARTH! But when he got to heaven, he became spoiled. And maybe because of his loyalty to his superiors, or because he is the first person, he is still in heaven.
In the movies they don't show a lot, but how to train you dragon had 2 shows where both Astrid and Hiccup grew together and started to like each other and their relationship is NOT one sided. Both those series were "located" (idk if that is the word) before the second movie. So they had a HUGE story before they ended up together in the end of the second series. It took them 2 years to oficially be together and they allways helped each other. One example was when a dragon who shows up there once a year brought disgrace to her family bc her uncle was paralised with fear of the dragon and he helped her prove that actually that dragon had a mist breath that could temporarily paralise their victims. He allways supported her thought her decisions, like when they were living in another island far away and she wanted to stay to be a part of berk's guard and he supported her even tho he was sad to be sepparated from her. Or when her parents house got destroyed and she said she would stay in berk to help them and he was the first to say he would stay too to help her. There are other multiple ocasions in both series, but let's be honest the movie is about Hiccup and Toothless, so it is focused on them, where in the series all the characters had their moments and developments individualy and with each other. But even so, he is the leader of Berk and has ppl depending on him, so of course she would support him and be the one to give him advice. It's been like this throught the movies and series bc what he wants often is the same things as she wants. That's why she fell in love with him, bc he is just, heroic, he loves to help others and dragons, etc.
This is not ment to be an argument tho, lol. It's just that I grew up with these movies and series and 1 hour especials and when ppl just watched the movies I get so sad, bc while they are fenomenal, they don't summon up not even 2% what they had together as a group and both of them as a couple. They literaly adore each other and do everything for each other.
Yeah, the shows actually made me a bit frustrated with the movies, since a lot of the side characters ended up having their characterizations flattened. Especially Fishlegs and Snotlout being reduced to Ruffnut simps
Makes sense. There was a 5 year gap between the first and second movie and, in the first movie, he had a crush on her for a while so he probably knew her personality and goals in general and then got to refine the details about her over the course of the 5 year gap. (I haven't seen the show myself, but this was always something that I assumed based on the information the movies gave us.)
I totally get it Mosco, Cherri's Aussie accent is so badass. Cherri might've been like this during the club scenes in this episode cause she's not really sure what too do for Angel since she's only known that drugs and drinking and clubbing can cheer him up so she's indecisive about what she can do too get him feeling well she's doing her best though so we have too give her that
I knew Emily was going to be Heaven’s Charlie the moment I learned about her from the leaked character sheets, and even though they didn’t get all of heaven on their side at least they have one ally in the other side Also you and your gf were right all along about Vaggie I herd the theories but I wasn’t sure if they were true until this episode BTW when Charlie meet Vaggie ever wondered what Charlie was doing in that ally in the first place with a role of bandages and why she didn’t figure out Vaggie was a exorcist because I have a theory on that and I’m more then willing to share it
I like where you are going with this. Maybe, before she had the idea of the hotel or continuing her mother's dream, she did what she could and decided to look for people in need after every extermination just to save or heal as many she could. Which leads us to believe that she thought that Vaggie was just another victim and one of her people. Interesting, my friend.
@keypath5340 That's what I think. And even if she asked,I don't know if Vaggie would have said anything or wanted to. Like,Vaggie was created to exterminate. So,unlike someone with free will, she didn't choose her lot in heaven. Husk called Vaggie out in episode 4 for judging everyone and everything because she hates herself. It's just a f ucked up situation all around!
@@keypath5340probably. Angelic weapons _can_ kill, but they still need to be used as weapons. It's entirely possible the wound isn't always as fatal as the exorcists assumed.
Well, I'm also certain that Charlie HAS asked. We havent seen ALL of their relationship journey. Vaggie cpuld have very easily lied. She was found after the extermination. Easily couldve said that she was attacked by an exterminator.
We don't know that Charlie never asked. It could be that Vaggie lied about her past out of fear or shame. Hopefully we'll find out next episode whether it's a case of " You never asked about my history so I never brought it up!" or "You always told me !"
Your reaction to the reveal was about what I expected. Watched the episode when it came out with my son and mentioned the thoughts of her being an X-executioner. We were thrilled when we saw it, and knew you gals would be ecstatic over it. Lol
Watching you react to these and feeling it is fantastic :) I'm new to your channel but really enjoying your energy and how much joy and frustration and happiness comes from watching the show
If Pentious were in any other place and hadn't been drinking, he may have been able to catch that Cherri didn't say no lol. All she asked was why would they, as arch nemeses(?) be intimate. Poor Pentious 😅
I think what she means by "no evidence" is that Angel Dust isn't in Heaven even after doing all that so she declared it "no evidence" XD It proooobably takes more than that to get into Heaven though ^^:
Haha, I suspected Vaggie was an angel right from the pilot and I’m so glad the clues weren’t just red herrings. Loved seeing Molly briefly here as well. I’m now wondering if things end with the exterminations being cancelled once it’s revealed Adam lied about hells uprising as he’s just pissy about Lilith or if they go in another direction. I must say the story has kept me guessing
2:54 You do bring up a good point about Hiccup and Astrid At the same time, the shows "Dragons:Riders of Berk" to "Dragons:Race to the Edge" do touch on their relationship and improve on it
Omg, I never even thought of that. She does hate bugs and he's a moth. She's probably also going to target him after seeing him hurt Angel. She seems to like everyone at the Hotel and Angel was trying to protect her, so maybe she's going to go stalker/psycho mode on Val. She did say that piece of fluff was for her "collection".
“I’ve never been big on, like, the deep reds and the blacks and things” she says in the red hair and black t-shirt 😂 I love you, Wee Lass, never change!
I kind of feel like you're jumping to conclusions a little bit when saying charlie never asks her about her past. Just because we don't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen. The more likely case is charlie asked when they met and she saw her hurt and missing an eye. And chances are vaggie lies about her backstory or simply said she was uncomfortable talking about it, given that she was still uncomfortable by the idea of bringing it up when adam shows up
I mean considering an extermination literally just happened it's likely she could have assumed it was caused by an exorcist(technically not wrong) that assumed the wound would be fatal and so left her to die. I mean she _was_ already running around with rolls of bandages.
I'm glad Angel Dust stood up to Val when he crashed the party and felt he still has a hold on Angel but that's only at the studio. when Angel is at the Hotel he's free to do what ever he wants not strings attached.
It explains why Val was so pissed that Angel moved out of the studio. Less opportunity to abuse means more power being taken away from Val who seems to be all about abusing said power at every chance.
I think that Charlie will be more upset at Vaggie because she lied to, than her being an angel
It may also be the fact that she killed hundreds of sinners.

He could just also be a demon in disguse
@aquatus1 honestly true, she does seem like that type of person. Maybe that's why she gets along with Adam do well.
I thought that two tbh as it could make sense but it could also be the gay thing based of Adam’s comments throughout the scene but I think it could be that’s what Adam’s saying but not Lute
Also I kinda hard hc Lute as either a ace lesbian or Aroace lmao
Wow, I thought only about demon/angel thing haha
If you notice, Sera said she "agreed to [Adam's] yearly activities." So it's implied the Exterminations were Adam's idea in the first place. My guess is he's the one to plant the "Hell is getting stronger and may cause an uprising" idea in her head since a lot of what she does is based on fear for those in Heaven. And he specifies that Vaggie landed specifically LILITH'S little hottie. I think he twisted all the info to cause the Exterminations just because he was jilted by Lilith and wants her to suffer as much as Lucifer does.
Well that and he also just enjoys the killing.
Interesting.
I love it too.
It really does fit.
Weirdly enough, her new actress is actually American. She can do one hell of an accent, though!

"if angles can fall, then demons can rise" charlie should have said that

@@anniefemmas5097 While I agree with your point that there are heaven born angels. There are also angels who were once human like Adam that could fall. Adam: "Sure got me here, dind't it?"@@anniefemmas5097
It just occurred to me that by attacking the Hotel first, it's not just Adam being petty and vindictive, they're actually destroying the evidence.
Couldn't agree more with both things.

That's why I believe that Charlie might forgive vaggie because we can see that vaggie is becoming a better person and we all know about Charlie's character and what she is like
@Mooneko_ a difference would be one is permanent and the other isn't
Exactly. It feels more like the struggle here would be with Vaggie feeling drastically unworthy of Charlie that she'll end up distancing herself.
@@exenero4305 I could see Vaggie doing something dangerous due to feeling unworthy/wanting to make up for it.
The mere idea of letting her down on an excersice was debastating, let alone telling her she was part of the ones killing her people
About Lucifer and Charlie:
Speaking purely from my experiences with depression, in my downs I would try to get everyone at arms length, thinking I was never good enough and they’d be better off without me. Especially close family. Why should I force them to endure the fuck up that I am if even I hate myself? Then of course they’d hate me too. I think… I can relate to how he’d feel… Because I know I’d act the same way if I had a daughter and I was separated from the mother. I’d love her more than anything, but it’s because I love her that I’d stay away, thinking she’d be better off without me.
its also notable that Luci seems to have some form of dissociative depression and we seem him actively struggling to engage in Conversations enough to actually retain any information, he has no concept of passing time and things may as well stop existing when he stops looking at them
his brain would not let him play an active role in Charlie's life even when he wasnt feeling like it would be better if he didnt
16:40 When you said "no no no" I remembered Lucifer with his "NO uhuhuh"😅

What if the reason why Carmilla Carmine was able to kill the executioner angel wasn't because of the amount of raw power she had, but the intent behind it. The only reason she attacked the angel was to save her daughters. That's a selfless act.
ooooh I like this theory !
pretty much confirmed
10:35 This reminds me of the limo scene in the pilot.
"Is that you being a homophobe or Nephalemphobic?"
Lute: "Whichever ticks you off more."
There was a line in "Whatever it Takes" like "there's so much i wish i could tell you about me" or something.
@@brolytriplethreatOh yeah, forgot about that!

Emily is absolutely adorable and I need her to interact with Charlie more
the pride sticker on charlie’s bag is actually since they’re in the pride ring of hell! it’s probably also for her and vaggie, but either way i love the details!!

No doubt Charlie was more then proud to see how far Angel had come🥹
And hopefully Charri would be a great ally in fight back the exorcist😎
I think Cherri didnt realized that Angel changed his coping behavior with his situation, before he used drugs to escape and Cherri supported him in that because there wasnt more she could do for him besides being there and hyping him up. When she realizes Angel was serius and that being sober was actually helping him (when he confronts Val, something he was sacared before), she then start to support him in this path too.

fun fact: the pink spider in the bottom right when St.
Btw, in the welcome to heaven song, when st. Peter says “everyone is hot” Angel dust’s sister Molly on sitting there is the ground
I always find it telling that her finger points to "behave selflessly" at the end here. Part of being selfless is doing what is right regardless of the consequences to yourself.
I liked the flames reflected in Sarah's eyes. "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions."
We already saw that Lucifer does love Charlie and wants to keep her safe, so if she is in danger he will surely go with her.
But Hell had never had an uprising in this universe.
The exterminations were allowed based on the fear of an uprising based completely on the words of Adam, not actual evidence.
Emily is so precious.
10:36 Caggie: "Was that you being homophobic or demonophobic?"
Lute: "Whichever pisses you off more."
Sadly, Lute is "Hot as fuck though."
Charly having a "pride" sticker is funny 'cause not only it's obviously for gay pride, with the rainbow next to it and all, but also her dad is the sin lord of Pride
YESSSSS THANK YOU MOSCO FOR BEING THIS QUICK! I love your reactions queen, this made my day better :'D!!
Mhm
I don't think it was a hellborn, because hellborns are exempt from the extermination anyway. The exorcists are fucked up, but I don't think it would make sense for Vaggie to be kicked out for sparing someone already on the Do-Not-Kill list.
Hellborn demons have a pardon, Lute mentioned this in episode 1. The exterminators dont target hellborn demons, only sinners.
@@DioxJXD Oh yeahhhh- Then why did Vaggie go after a child?? Cuz then I really don’t see why a kid ended up in Hell..
@@agoblincandrawsimply put, the rules in this system are arbitrary as heck. The fact Adam is in Heaven should be proof enough of that.
I think the love being blasphemous was more about demon and angle being in a relationship. Don't think it was about them being gay
Why not both? It is Adam we're talking about here after all.
@@Mclotodod8742But Adam wasn't the one who said it, Lute did. Adam said it was hot.
Hehe. “Angle”. XD
6:42 - I was shocked and happy to see Molly make her debut. It's so sweet and I hope her and Anthony (AKA Angel Dust) meet up someday. It'll be so sweet for siblings to meet. And then Angel will tell about his mobster family .
molly
I mean we know Adam is the ultimate douche and Lute is a horrid monster
But Sera's probably the worst. She co-signed mass genocide and is throwing herself a pity party "Oh it was such a hard decision, and like I feel so bad, but I need to do this and me me me ME ME!"
Miss me with that crap
Clearly there is more going on behind the scenes. It's pretty naive to believe things at face value. Ironically, your type of thinking aligns with Adam's "black and white view."
Well, what else she was supposed to say? "It's all Adam's fault"? She needed to calm down Emily and it was really Adam's idea to the problem that Lucifer wasn't able to solve.
For me it was just "Meh, whatever..." If you begin to think, what else she needed to say and what everyone would have thought of her, you'd be stuck in a loop.
Nifty is an absolute ICON
In defense of Sir Pentious she didn’t say no and kinda flirted with him a little at the bar. Plus the smile she gave when he asked if they wanted to “do a sex” seemed a little flirty. Like he doesn’t have much rizz, but his dorkiness was endearing to her. That and I doubt many sinners have gone to battle with her so long or with such strength. He just needs a little confidence.
I legit think he MAY have had a shot if he didn't wimp out at every turn.
Lol, he may be slippery but that doesn't mean he's smooth. 😂
i continue to wonder how far Charlies "redemption is good" thing actually goes.
She thinks that redemption is a good idea, but she doesn't know the hows, whys, whose, etc.
that kind of my issues with her. I want her to come to terms with the fact that some people can't be rehabilitated@@7Seraphem7
I'm so happy for you guys getting this right! 💜
Lute: "Their love is vile and blasphemous!" 👿
Adam: "Hot as fuck tho..." 😏
*He may be an asshole, but he's kinda based lol*
Regarding the Charlie Lucifer issues, I saw someone suggest on Tumblr that Lucifer's depression is just so bad he's disassociating. For instance Charlie says she told him about the hotel but he doesn't remember that and in some points in episode 5 he's clearly checked out of conversations. He's so depressed he can't pay attention to or remember anything. I've only seen this theory once but already subscribe to it wholeheartedly.
Severe clinical depression does that, you’re so intent on maintaining your ‘cover’ that you lose the ability to pay attention to conversations.
Yeah, depression is linked to short-term memory issues and inability to focus
Also, he is alone most of the time and so time would probably be off, like one minute it might feel like an eternity but be a couple hours and then next thing he knows it's been a week.
@@aquatus1 naif?
I think Lute was saying that their love is vile and blasphemous because it's an angel dating a "Hell spawn" (Lucifer's daughter no less).
Love the fact that Wee Lass is 99% correct about any and all theories so well done!
3:50 Cherri Bomb is my favorite character from Hazbin Hotel. Hearing you say this just put a bigger smile on my face.
10:00 While that sinner could have possibly been a child, they also could have just been a small statured demon, like Nifty.
(Based on their design, they were likely from the Cannibal Colony - vintage clothes, sharp teeth, blacked out eyes, muted rose color pallet, etc.)
I think it’s less about _who_ she let go, and more _why._ Vaggie saw a human soul crying in fear, and she felt empathy for a demon for the first time, and showed them mercy.
I love that NO ONE so far has caught note of Angels sister in the "welcome to heaven' song XDD
"what's doing a child in hell anyway?" well, ask to the parents xDD
Em & Char = the most adorable best buds that should have met long ago
You know, one thing I noticed was that when Adam was talking to Vaggie, he said that she landed "Lilith's little hottie". Notice how he says Lilith, not Lucifer, even though he's literally the king of Hell. This is just more evidence to the theory that Lilith is a villain and has been in heaven all this time doing...idk what, and she is controlling Alastor
I think it could also be Adam just had a much closer connection to Lilith so thats who he thinks of first
I mean, Lilith dumped Adam when he was literally the only man on Earth, so I can see that asshat holding on to that for thousands of years.
Or could be because Lilith is his ex and he's not over that
6:10 There's a theory that Lucifer and Sera are related, and therefore, so are Charlie and Emily.
Nah, he was always a bit arrogant and misogynistic from the start. but heaven's privileges definitely didn't make him any better.
Wait....I just realized that biblically Adam wasn't the first human soul in heaven, his son Abel would have been the first human soul.
as for Astrid and Hiccup, their relationship strengthens during the TV and Netflix series and it's amazing
Yeah, when Mosco said that I thought to myself “she clearly didn’t watch the shows”
Yeah, the shows actually made me a bit frustrated with the movies, since a lot of the side characters ended up having their characterizations flattened. Especially Fishlegs and Snotlout being reduced to Ruffnut simps
yeah and by the 2nd movie they he doesnt ask her anything cause he already knows everything or at least almost everything about her
It's what I was thinking, too. I loved watching the relationship grow and develop througout the show.
Did you notice Angel Dust's twin sister Molly in the part when the guy sang everyone here is hot in the heaven song?
I totally get it Mosco, Cherri's Aussie accent is so badass. Cherri might've been like this during the club scenes in this episode cause she's not really sure what too do for Angel since she's only known that drugs and drinking and clubbing can cheer him up so she's indecisive about what she can do too get him feeling well she's doing her best though so we have too give her that
I knew Emily was going to be Heaven’s Charlie the moment I learned about her from the leaked character sheets, and even though they didn’t get all of heaven on their side at least they have one ally in the other side
Also you and your gf were right all along about Vaggie I herd the theories but I wasn’t sure if they were true until this episode
BTW when Charlie meet Vaggie ever wondered what Charlie was doing in that ally in the first place with a role of bandages and why she didn’t figure out Vaggie was a exorcist because I have a theory on that and I’m more then willing to share it
I like where you are going with this. Maybe, before she had the idea of the hotel or continuing her mother's dream, she did what she could and decided to look for people in need after every extermination just to save or heal as many she could. Which leads us to believe that she thought that Vaggie was just another victim and one of her people. Interesting, my friend.
@@keypath5340That’s basically exactly what I thought🤩😎
@@fantasy-writer-v5z 👉😎👉

Lol

When she talked about astrid and hiccup, I knew she never watched the TV series. Race to the edge or Riders of Berk.
3:14 Hey! Don't Throw Hicstrid Shade! They're One Of My Favorite Ships And Hiccup And Astrid Knew Each Other Since Childhood.
2:54 You do bring up a good point about Hiccup and Astrid
At the same time, the shows "Dragons:Riders of Berk" to "Dragons:Race to the Edge" do touch on their relationship and improve on it
When Nifty went after Val I was like... he's dead
Well, Val is a bug after all, and we know that Niffty hates bugs… ;)
Technically he's already dead but still he's lucky she stopped at a bit of floof
10:43 Actually I think Lute is talking about the fact that Vaggie-who is an angel-fell in love with Charlie-who is a demon.
Also it’s funny because vaggie being an Angel makes her an literally an hypocrite when you really think about it
16:00 - Funnier still is that I think Cherri *might* have been willing to entertain Sir Pentious' affection had he not been so wishy-washy about it.
“I’ve never been big on, like, the deep reds and the blacks and things” she says in the red hair and black t-shirt 😂 I love you, Wee Lass, never change!
a demonstration about the wide gap that exists between the phrases "this is true" and "this court finds"
10:51 or it could be the fact that Vag is an angle and Charlie is a hellborn
I'm glad Angel Dust stood up to Val when he crashed the party and felt he still has a hold on Angel but that's only at the studio. when Angel is at the Hotel he's free to do what ever he wants not strings attached.
It explains why Val was so pissed that Angel moved out of the studio. Less opportunity to abuse means more power being taken away from Val who seems to be all about abusing said power at every chance.
