Gentlemen I lost my wife of 31 years yesterday and I was sitting back and recalling some of the good times we had together. Well I remember one time when I took her with me to play golf and every shot I made she would say "Well Golf Mates that was a good shot" or "Well Golf Mates that shot wasn't to good now was it". Now if you can imagine this southern American girl trying to talk like she was from England, well it just didn't work. I know that this story doesn't fit in with the above topic but I thought you may be interested. Thanks for listening.

I had a putter fitting last Friday and they adjusted my 15 year old 2 ball, then Sunday I played and knocked of 4 putts on my normal by holing a few 10 footers. I have a lesson also Thursday and can't wait as my putting has been shocking
I always practice my putting. so many i see on putting green before a round are just dropping the ball and hitting it at a hole while awaiting tee off time. i remember Nick Faldo saying half of your shots will be putting on a par 72. 2 putts per green is 36 putts., if you practice and take a little more time learning alignment and line reading and that helps you 1 put on 6 greens you now shoot 66. when you look a Rory's last round in US Open, he 1 putted once. all the rest of the round were 2 putts. he will normally 1 putt around 4 to 6 times. that would of given him the win. putting percentage is huge in golf.

I got mine fitted and my game has improved by 3 shots, down from 16 to 13 in a coupe of months. It is important, once you have your ball and putter lined up, to hit the putt and trust the shot. Great advice in that short video.
I was recently thinking of getting fitted for a LAB putter at the thick end of £400 + and some colleagues thought I was mad. The same guys who regularly change driver every couple of seasons due to Industry propaganda. I'm a good putter but can see a full fitting could make me a better putter of the ball.

Amazing techknology shows up all your faults, then corrects them, but it doesnt show you every contour on the greens. Just playing the same course regularly helps the subtle nuances of putting. Thus spoke roglin87.

HI PETE but you only play 9 holes !!!! Sorry 4 holes !!! For example there is this guy I help now in no way am I a pro, but a tip here and there and he plays 9 holes only his handicap has dropped from 39.8 to 25.3 with me , maybe its because in pairs rabbits I tend to play off scratch should be 16.1
